If I could rate Dr. Fink less I would. She prescribed me a sulfur based medicine for pink eye without testing for it. It reacted bad with my eyes. I went back and she sent me to a specialist who didn't know an eye from his ass. I almost lost my vision while my cornias melted away. A friend in the eye care industry turned me to an optometrist that referred me to a real specialist who saved my eyes. I have come to discover that most people have a bad reaction to sulfur based eye meds. Failing to take a test for pink eye was the first mistake. read more

First of all, I rarely write online reviews, but after my experience, I felt it was warranted. I waited almost an hour to see the Dr., for a scheduled appt., and Dr. Fink spent about 15 minutes with me. I was in need of a new physician, because I had relocated to the area. I looked up physicians on my insurance company's website. Chose Dr. Fink because of her credentials. I told the girl on the phone when I called to make an appointment for my initial physical that I would be a new patient. She spent 15 minutes questioning my insurance to see if it was accepted at their office. I kept telling her that I had already verified this with my insurance company. A couple of days before my appt. the office called to remind me of my appt. and to tell me to arrive 30 minutes early to fill out paper work. When I arrived it took me 2 minutes to fill out the forms that were only for billing purposes. They never gave me the standard forms you fill out when you are a new patient that have questions regarding your medical history. I wished I had read the review that stated, If you are looking for a regular doctor, you must consider that this is a clinic setup like an emergency drop-in medical office. I found it to be like an immediate care center. When the medical assistant took me to the room that looked like an emergency room with only a curtain, she asked me why I was there. I told her I was here for my first visit as a new patient. I also told her about my on going wheezing since a work related exposure. I was never asked to put on a gown, which I found odd since I was there for my new patient physical. The assistant took my temp, blood pressure and heart rate, but not my oxygen level and neither did Dr. Fink when she came in. When Dr Fink came In the total focus was on my ongoing wheezing, which was mild this day, refill prescriptions and not on a new patient physical/ lab work, etc. that you expect when you are first seeing a new physician. The visit last about 15 minutes. Dr. Fink asked me very few questions, listened to my lungs/heart under my top and that was the total of my physical. When I questioned this, Dr Fink informed me that I would have to make an appt. for a new patent physical that this was just to address my medical issues this time. When I told her that I had set the appt. up as a new patient for a new patient exam she continued to state that I would have to make another appt. to do this. Unbelievable waste of time. I could have gone to an Urgent Care Center I have used before, which is 10 minutes from my house instead of driving into San Jose if I was looking for an immediate care center.....and gotten better care, If you are looking for a primary care physician, I would look else where. read more

Just like one of the other reviewers, I had an appointment with this idiot, waited over 30 minutes, then was brought in to meet with a different doctor because she didn't have time to meet with me. I figured it's common sense, but they might not have taught that in whatever piece of s*** medical school you graduated from, but here's some help for the future: 1. The point of scheduling an appointment is to make sure that you have time to meet with the patient. If something changes, you have the courtesy to let the patient know 2. If you're making any changes to the appointment, like passing it to a different doctor, let the patient know, and make sure the other doctor is available at that appointment time in order to avoid an effing 30+ minute wait time. read more

Keep in mind that if you are looking for a regular doctor, you must consider that this clinic is set up like an emergency drop-on medical clinic. So, all emergencies will supersede your appointment. Dr. Fink is very respectful, gives me the time I need, and has helped me every time we've come in for myself of my kids. I have tried other doctors, but they are in too much of a hurry and just seem annoyed when I have a question. Dr. Fink, on the other hand, is so much easier to talk to. read more

My only complaint is the wait time. Both times I have been there, the wait was about 30minutes, so plan for that. The doctor was attentive, staff was courteous. Dr fink is awesome. She has been my primary many years. She helped find major issues and saved my life both times. Especially when I hit a severe leg infection she made it a priority to get me admitted to the hospital by calling The non stop and have the room ready for me within 2 hours! Stay away from this office. I am a new patient and saw her name on my insurance card, so I called to make an appointment for a physical checkup. Got transferred by 2 or 3 different people and waited for like 15 minutes to finally speak to someone. The lady was so unprofessional and was not helping AT ALL. She said they don't have anything available until October, and Dr. Fink only comes to the office once a week, so the appointment will be with her assistant. I asked if I can have another appointment with Dr. Fink in November, she said no because they don't have schedule for November yet. REALLY??? Who runs a business like this? NO ONE!!! I found Dr Fink on my insurance's website. I figured I give it a shot since I needed a new doctor. I called to set up a same day appointment. I was told on the phone it was dead so I should come in now to get seen....sounds good! I arrived 10 minutes later and Sat in the waiting area for over 1hr. The 1st nurse took me in and checked my blood pressure and heart rate. She also checked my throat after I told her it was hurting. She left and Dr. Fink showed up 15 minutes after. She took a look and said I don't have strep throat. Said it wasn't anything bad and to buy meds from her clinic. Dr. Fink probably saw me for 5 minutes total and left. This was a decent visit but I will try out a different doctor who will spend more time with a new patient...someone a bit more attentive. read more

My review is based on my experience trying to make an appointment and since I was not able to do that, this review is based on that experience, rather than with Dr. Fink herself. I selected Dr. Fink as my primary care physician and shortly thereafter received a lovely letter from her welcoming me to her practice and inviting me to schedule an appointment for a health assessment to meet her and her staff and talk about my health in general. I was impressed. Until I called her office. When I told the receptionist that I was a new patient calling to make an appt for a health assessment, her fist words were a terse, "what insurance do you have", then "what medical group". Not a friendly response at all or a welcome to our practice or anything! I told her about the letter I received and she had no idea what I was talking about and said she didn't know anything about a letter. She said I must want a physical. I said, no I want a health assessment appointment. I asked her what was involved in a health assessment and she had no idea. Then she asked if I wanted to see Debra Brown. I said "who is that?". I said I would like to see Dr. Fink based on her letter. Then she said they can only see new patients between 11-3, which doesn't work for me as my job is an hour from Dr. Fink's office. I asked if I could come morning or afternoon but there was zero flexibility on that so I told her I would have to find a new doctor. All she said was "OK" and hung up. I went from being super impressed when I received the letter to completely disappointed and frustrated when I tried to make an appointment. I changed doctors. read more

Dr. Fink is amazing! Two times she took my kids when they had minutes to closed! Both my kids needed immediate attention! She could have sent me away to emergency. She was very knowledgeable and most of all had a heart for what she does. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Fink for twenty years. She is an excellent doctor....attentive, thorough, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. She always has time for my questions and concerns. More than once, she has discovered things going on with me of which I had no idea. It seems that most of the complaints I read here are about wait time. It is true that sometimes one has to wait a while. After all, this is and urgent care clinic, so emergencies come first. I realize that people who are very self-involved have a difficult time understanding anything beyond themselves and their own wishes, but just bring along a book, and relax in the comfortable waiting room. read more

Dr Fink. shes been my doctor since i was a kid.Her care is excellent and not just her but all the doctors are great.Shes the doctor not the receptionist or medical assistant who deals with scheduling .Good Lord man!!!!! She cant do everthing!!!!!!you should leave a review for the front office not her!!!!you ignorant needy people!!!! Its a clinic were SICK people are being seen maybe there was a person DYING!!! in the back and couldnt come out and shake your hand exactly at your appointment time!!!!!MORONS!!!!!!I been there a couple of times and one of those times they were trying to save a heart attack patient that had croaked in the back while he was there for a regular check up ,once again its a MEDICAL CLINIC not a JIFFY LUBE. We were searching for a new doctor in the San Jose area. After waiting over an hour and a half (yes, 1 1/2 hours!) we left without ever seeing Dr. Fink. We even inquired after waiting 30 minutes and were told we would be seen right away. Dr. Fink may be a great doctor, but that clinic needs to stop telling people with appointments they will get in at their specified appointment time. Really ridiculous! Also, there were many sick people in the lobby and no staff ever asked them to cover their coughs or wear a mask. Yuck! read more

I was looking for a primary doctor after losing kaiser insurance and going with Aetna I found Dr Fink as one of the Doctors my insurance accepted so thought I'd give it a shot. Yes the wait time kinda sucks but I'm giving Dr. Fink 5 stars because of her attentiveness, making sure I was 100% taken care of. When finding a neoplasm on my lung she made sure I got a CT scan asap, made sure I followed up with a cardio thoracic surgeon for my heart issues and even sending me to a pulmonary dr to check my lungs. She covered all basis! I'm grateful I found her and she's a great doctor that doesn't hesitate to make sure your 100% taken care of. I can sit here and complain about the wait time, and how it took a couple days to give me my CT scans results which was stressful but I'm not here to rate that I'm here to rate "her" as a doctor. I'd rather sit and wait knowing I'm going to get the best care. read more
