The bathroom was in need of some attention with toilet paper missing from one stall and the other stall I tried didn't have a lock on the door. Third stall was fine but the sinks needed a good wipe down and refill of supplies. I would come back if I lived her but we were just passing thru and wanted to see a movie. The only changes I found this weekend seeing two movies in two days were the butter is now self serve and the refills were discontinued. Wonderful! I really did not want a bunch of drastic changes because I love this theater just the way it is. The old app doesn't work but a new one is coming. The new website is up and running. Plus current showtimes are posted on the windows. Matinee ticket prices are $8 plus our refreshments for two people was only $22.

We went on a Sunday and found street parking pretty easily, but then realized the theater validates parking for up to 3 hours. Such a nice perk -- wish I knew before circling around lol. We bought our tickets online ahead of time, and when we got there I ordered the garlic cheesy bread and a drink at the counter. Total was around $15. The seats were really comfy and spacious, which made the whole experience feel worth it. The food came out pretty fast. The garlic cheesy bread was probably like a 5/10 for me... not terrible, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Overall though, really nice theater and I'd definitely come back for another movie night.

We arrived and parked in the garage located next to the theater. When we checked in at the box office, we were told to request parking ticket validation upstairs. They provide 3-hour parking validation. I was under the belief that we could order refreshments from our seats, but the usher at the theater door advised that we should order at the counter and food (with the exception of beverages, popcorn and candies) would be brought out to our seats. This was disappointing because the line was quite long. We stood in the queue and once we reached the counter, we were assisted by what I believe was the food service manager. He spoke with a sense of ownership over the issue that was their beer refrigeration line. All of their beer is on tap, and none was available because of this issue. The gentleman was short with us. He talks fast and asked what we'd like and before we could even get the words out of our mouths, he demanded that we produce our seat tickets. I was pulling them out of my pocket when he said something to the effect of "we can't deliver it to your seats if we don't know where you're seated". This is true, but once I gave him the tickets, he held onto them until the end of our transaction. If he didn't need them right away, then why cut us off like that? My husband tipped on the receipt, but I felt that the service was subpar. I hope the tips are given to the food runners. When we found our seats, there was a huge spill in front of one of them. The employees have to come into the theater and remove dishes, cups, etc. after each show, so that spill should have been addressed. I found an employee who was running food orders and asked him for a towel. He graciously assisted us in cleaning up the spill. We both ordered The Fast Times pizzas. They were small, personal sized pies. They were cheesy, with a generous amount of pepperoni, but the crust wasn't fully cooked. I barely ate half of mine before I began feeling sick. I had to excuse myself to restroom shortly thereafter when I became ill. My husband's stomach is stronger than mine, or perhaps his was fully cooked. The seats were comfortable and I don't think you can pick a "bad one", but the food and the service could use improvement.

The staff is super nice - down to earth. They offer a number of deals on popcorn and concessions. The theater was super clean. The chairs are comfortable, but not recliners. There are cup holders at each seat. Our view was unobstructed and noise level was low even though there were a lot of kids in the theater. There is a cute little birthday room set up with deals for the kids to get snacks and see a movie. The restrooms were clean (although a number of stalls were non operational. There was plenty of free parking close to the door. The lobby is filled with electronic games to keep the kids occupied before the show. I can't wait to go back without the kids and see an adult show.

We meet the new manager that had just taken over and he was kind considerate and generous with the snacks they bend over backwards to make your visit enjoyable and pleasant. The snacks were great the movie was excellent, the only negative was that the theaters heater wasn't working that night but we have been back and the were working fine He did say(the new mgr) that they had had several problems but were working them out one at a time. They really make you feel like the small local movie theater of the past with the newest technology seating overall experience, the best of both worlds.

For $15, you get a candlelit dinner (catered by Scanoli's Cajun and BBQ Restaurant, across the street) and a classic movie. These days, the movie alone would cost you $10! And that means that the $5-dinner, already very good on the palate, was also quite gentle on the wallet. They also show Monday night football on the big screen. Moreover, for most of these events, the bar is open, which means you can enjoy a drink while you watch the movie. Tell me, where else in the US can you do that! I'm sure such places exist, but they're few and far between. For what it's worth, you can also rent out the space for events such as receptions and weddings. I haven't yet been there for something like that. But if it's handled anywhere near as well as the movie night, I'm already a fan.

I would have liked to have a seat not sitting next to someone, given that the theatre was empty and full of seats, but these were the only options that were given when we paid for our tickets (kinds thought that was weird?). That would be the reason for the 4-stars. We didn't get concessions but they do have the freestyle Coke machines so that's a plus! Thanks to Yelp, I'll check out movies on Tuesday night for just $5! All of them high and everyone started yelling at them. I left and got body checked then threatened the whole way out to beat my a** and calling me gay hate names. The manager didn't do 1 thing but again just look confused. She could have walked them in like other theaters do. I mean DO NOT GO TO THIS THEATER. The amount of fights that are happening then they will use your A list member. I was the only one they had a name of. So I have horrific footage of it all. Which I will be posting on Reddit. Because people taking Children here. Think twice they will NOT PROTECT YOU THERE. I have seen so much in these last 4 months. Me & my partner & mother took a 3 week break. Hoping AMC would protect the people coming. Fights are happening 5 to 10 times a week. & it will only get worse & worse. You sadly can't trust AMC to protect you or your kids. Some of these people fighting is all they know. & if AMC did walk through this would happen far less. Called 5 different theaters & all of them do Walk throughs! Don't let film be ruined for you here. Just go Emagine Theater or Regal or the best DraftHouse. They have someone outside each theater. & if your late your not aloud in. This week…read morewe were already going to be nearby in Carmel for a Yelp event, so we ate dinner and I bought tickets at this Regal location because we often see movies at the Avon location and like it there. I am only giving 2 stars because the 2 staff members working concessions were nice, otherwise this would be 1 star. Everything else was downhill from there. After we got drinks and a popcorn, we walked away to go get straws and I tripped on a huge cord they have on the floor for their refrigerated drink coolers. Only part of the cord is covered up and I tripped over the exposed area closest to the registers. Once we got to our theater we immediately noticed that it had not been cleaned prior to our movie because there was an empty water bottle in a cup holder a row ahead of us, as well as popcorn all over the floor. We hadn't been sitting in our seats very long at all before my husband's arm rest just fell off of his chair. We had the 2 end seats, so his left armrest had no cup holder and was very wobbly and then it just completely fell off. It looked like it just gets set down in there, but it was just annoying and janky, so we moved down a seat since only 2 other people were in the theater with us. To top it all off, a speaker to our right kept making a buzzing noise when it was a louder scene, so more than one repair needs to be done to theater 13. Overall, the theater just had a very old, run-down vibe and was not clean. We will not be returning to this location again.
