Would be one star, but the staff are all friendly. Old, run down theater with small screens, cold popcorn (and TWELVE DOLLARS FOR A SMALL, are we serious?), and 20 minutes of tv ads before the movie. I had free tickets to a movie, but I won't be returning here. When emagine in Noblesville is relatively close and KanKan and Alamo Drafthouse close to downtown for indie films there just isn't a reason to choose this theater over any others. read more

My husband and I do a date night every Tuesday and usually go out to eat and see a movie. This week we were already going to be nearby in Carmel for a Yelp event, so we ate dinner and I bought tickets at this Regal location because we often see movies at the Avon location and like it there. I am only giving 2 stars because the 2 staff members working concessions were nice, otherwise this would be 1 star. Everything else was downhill from there. After we got drinks and a popcorn, we walked away to go get straws and I tripped on a huge cord they have on the floor for their refrigerated drink coolers. Only part of the cord is covered up and I tripped over the exposed area closest to the registers. Once we got to our theater we immediately noticed that it had not been cleaned prior to our movie because there was an empty water bottle in a cup holder a row ahead of us, as well as popcorn all over the floor. We hadn't been sitting in our seats very long at all before my husband's arm rest just fell off of his chair. We had the 2 end seats, so his left armrest had no cup holder and was very wobbly and then it just completely fell off. It looked like it just gets set down in there, but it was just annoying and janky, so we moved down a seat since only 2 other people were in the theater with us. To top it all off, a speaker to our right kept making a buzzing noise when it was a louder scene, so more than one repair needs to be done to theater 13. Overall, the theater just had a very old, run-down vibe and was not clean. We will not be returning to this location again. read more

This Regal definitely gives an OLD school feel. Definitely needs a remodel BUT it also gave a me a lovely sense of the theaters in my era. AND we were seeing The Land Before Time, so it added to the 80s kid vibe. Lovely employees there. We went in Super Bowl Sunday and there was no one there so all the people at the concession stand were more than helpful. I would come again. I'm so used to reclining chairs lol but I actually loved the pull-down seats. Will be back! Oh and LOVED the large selection of candy they had to offer. No fancy soda machines which was refreshing actually. Loved the inside vibe but the outside could use a refresh. read more

Last night, i went to this exact theater in Carmel. When me and my family got there, everything seemed fine, there was no line and the service was good. Before we ended up buying the drinks and snacks we went to look for our seats so we wouldn't end up somewhere else by accident. After buying our drinks and other snacks, we finally got to our seats. But when we got to our seats they did not look anything like the ones in the adds on the big screen. And there was no leg room and it was so small. In the adds you could lean back and enjoy. After the movie my back and neck hurt so bad. Usually there is a few adds for the company and then the other movie trailers start to come on. This time we were 20 minutes early before our movie started [it started at 7:00pm.] so we were like "Okay only 20 mins of movie trailers and a few commercials." and we were stuck watching the same adds for almost an hour and the movie didn't start until 8:00pm. read more

The place was a ghost town. The parking lot and building were rundown. Super high prices on the popcorn candy and drinks. The seats are tight crowded and do not recline. Miserable experience. We saw one movie and were the only ones on that theater and I think the entire building. Needs some serious renovations. The theaters are even marked with the movie name! This theater was straight out of the eighties. Stay away-lousy place to see a movie. read more

Regal Theater in Carmel is my go to theater of choice as I prefer to support our local facility. However, I do enjoy the luxury of some of the other neighboring theaters with reclining and/or heated seats. The Regal in Carmel is seriously due for an update. Carmel is rated No. 1 Best Place to Live for 2026-2027. I would think that with Carmel's high standards, the theater would want to invite these patrons into their establishment. IMHO, Regal could be VERY successful if they kept up with the competition. read more

Regal is our go to theater. There's no line usually at the ticket counter and we find the self help kiosk so helpful and quick. The concession stand is well maintained and like any other theater the popcorn and drink is definitely expensive. $20 for a large popcorn and Pepsi, The seats are clean in the theater and the sound effects are great. The carpet does need deep cleaning, there's a weird misty smell that throws me off. Knocking 1* off for that. There's a small hall for kids birthday parties which I thought was very cute. There was a party going on when I had visited Regal on another occasion. Parking is extensive and well maintained with very friendly customer service otherwise. read more

The movie started 10 minutes later than the posted time. They don't care. This happens a lot.

I went to see Mission: Impossible- Dead Reckoning and had an incredibly disappointing experience. The theater was dirty, and the speakers were broken, crackling loudly throughout the entire movie. When I brought the issue to the attention of the manager, Shawn, he was dismissive and rude. He offered no apology, no compensation, and no solution--just a curt "we're working on it." At the very least, the theater should disclose that the sound system is currently malfunctioning so patrons can make an informed decision. Instead, you're left to "deal with it" after paying full price. It's unacceptable. Why doesn't Carmel have a clean, modern, and well-managed theater? This one is outdated, poorly maintained, and the staff lacks basic customer service skills. Skip it. You--and your time--deserve better. read more

We came here to see the new Top Gun movie as Flix was already sold out. The theater is a bit updated but I was glad you could reserve your seats in advance. We were starving as we had skipped lunch so we went with the spicy chicken nachos. They were a poor representation of nachos. There was not enough cheese, pretty sure it was canned chicken and then the spicy flavor was simply like 8 jalapeños. It also took them a hot second to make these which shocked me. They had four beers on draft but seemed like a lot of issues with the taps- the server said it was going to get fixed soon. Bathrooms seemed to be pretty clean which was nice. read more

I went to this theater to see Deadpool and Wolverine and didn't know what to expect. This theater is very dated. It looks like the ones I used to go to as a child in the 90s. It doesn't even have the new recliner seating the is pretty standard now. The staff were very nice and polite and I did enjoy the movie. I just wish that I could've had the modern movie experience that I'm used to. read more

This place raised me. Every time I enter this establishment the workers are always smiling and so very kind! The seats are comfortable and the snacks/foods/drinks are always great. Sometimes it can get a little cold inside but that's just an excuse to bring blankets and get more comfortable while watching an awesome movie!! People are crazy if they dislike this place, it's nostalgic and not modernized like everything else around here..I love this Regal! read more

We booked tickets online (through Fandango) to attend a 6:30pm showing for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever last night and arrived a few minutes before to stop by the concession stand. There were a lot of young people (teenagers) working the counter, so after beginning our order we were told that the young man couldn't get or even ring up alcoholic beverages and were sent to the end of the counter to make that purchase. The man working the line, Trevor I believe his name was, had an unfriendly disposition. We asked how much the Cupcake Moscato was and his response was "I need to see your ID." As my fiance was pulling out his ID, he said "well, I just want to know how much it is." Again, he said he needed to see his ID. I'm guessing that he can't proceed to the screen with the pricing without first entering a birthdate or scanning the ID, but he could've explained that or responded more kindly. He cut us off again when we also asked for a Bud Light. He barely let the words leave our lips before he was like, "Is this for you and another person?....I need to see your ID too." I understand that he's doing his job, but he could use some soft-skills training. He didn't smile, he didn't greet us, he didn't thank us. We were then told that the pizza would be a 3-4 minute wait. Our receipt has 18:36 listed as the time of our transaction. While waiting my daughter returned from the theater stating that we needed 3D glasses, I sent her to the front counter to retrieve those. She was told that the credits would end and the movie would begin at 18:55. We inquired about the pizza repeatedly (and were told nothing more than it's still in the back) and when it was done, the gentleman working in the back came out and handed it to a woman who was also waiting on a pepperoni pizza. Trevor stopped her just as she was about to open the box and told her that we were waiting first. In hindsight, I wish we would've let her keep it because it was extremely undercooked and slightly cold as soon as we got it. The crust was limp and when I got home that night, I got very ill. It's not that I wish any ill-will on anyone else, but it was gross and maybe the second pizza was prepared properly. After grabbing the pizza, we walked to Auditorium 3 just as the credits were ending. We waited over 15 minutes for that pizza! The movie was good, but would've been better had the theater adjusted the lighting appropriately. It was very dark, made even worse by the 3D glasses which made it even darker. The backlighting or contrast needs some work. I paid extra to see it in 3D, but that feels like a mistake at this point. read more

This theatre is old. Old as in not upgraded. I now feel like a part of the theatre experience is the reclining chairs. This place greets you with that nostalgia 90's movie theatre carpet, sticky floors, old restrooms and old school chairs. It wasn't worth $14 per ticket. read more

Used to enjoy going here but the patrons have become rude. While watching Spiderman the lady in front of me was on here phone during the entire movie. Checking Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and replying to emails in Outlook. It was as if she was fidgeting like a child. They have a large group that took up the entire row talked throughout. Others in the theater talked throughout the movie too and then there was the girl that slurped her drink letting the theater know her beverage was gone. All these people must have moved here from out of town because native Hoosiers are more considerate than this. read more

Well it started off okay. I'm a member of their Regal Crown Club and actually remembered my card this time. It just so happened I got a free small popcorn for my birthday. Of course they tried to upgrade me but, nah fam. We went for the 3:30 showing of Capt Marvel and scored matinee prices of $9.45 adult and $9.25 for a child. Adult tickets normally (for peak hours) are $11.75. But seniors and kids get in anytime for $9.25. This flick's already got a run time of 2'05". So I was a bit annoyed by the number and length of the ads and trailers. We got there 5 min early because it was Saturday and we wanted good seats. But then we sat through 22 min of trailers after show time, until the movie began at 3:52. That's excessive. I've got better things to do on a Saturday night, like rush home and make dinner. The seats aren't nearly as comfortable as most other area theaters, and it kind of smells funky in there. But they're convenient, which is the main reason we go there. Frankly, the loyalty club rarely enters into my decision-making process. We got out to find the women's bathrooms closed due to a plumbing problem. It wasn't a big deal as there were other bathrooms on our same wing, it just meant a slightly longer walk to the car. Luckily, I'm very mobile :) read more

*Cue nostalgia.* I hadn't been here in years, and finally went back yesterday with my family. There was not much of a line to get tickets, and we were able to buy tickets and slip into our movie in about five minutes. The concession stand offers the basic candy/popcorn/nachos and the theatres can accommodate a decent amount of people. The guy working the ticket office was really nice and helpful and the movie we saw (Last Christmas) ended up being really cute. The theatre wasn't the cleanest (there was a good amount of trash on the floor of the back row), but not too bad. I'll be back! read more

The staff is usually very friendly and polite and they offer a good selection of movies to choose from. The theaters are always clean with reserved seating and open seating options to select from when purchasing tickets. Their food and snack options are a little pricey and the snack stand. A large bottle of water will set you back $6. By the time you add popcorn, snacks, and drinks for the family you could have paid for a dinner a nearby restaurant. read more

I love this theatre! It's simple and just perfect. Lots of screens, plenty of bathrooms, floors kind of sticky but popcorn and drinks are amazing. The staff is always nice and post pandemic lock down it's nice to be in a normal sticky floor theatre ha. The floors really aren't sticky--it looks a little older for a theatre but it's honestly nice. This is my favorite place to go to shows and I recommend it to anyone. This was my second time in several years visiting this theater. My friend and I had received early viewing passes to the kitchen. The theater was easy to get to from the high way, and ample parking choices. I walked right in and down to the theater our check in process was quick, we found seats and then I went to grab a drink. Thankfully there were several quick moving lines and I was able to get my coke icee in no time! The concessions were ample! Candy and hot food items, as well as the awesome new trend of drinks being served. All around a nice traditional theater, not sure when I'll be back but it was a good experience all around!! read more

Regal cinemas in Carmel is a decent size movie happ. We came here to see bollywood movie. To my surprise the ticket counter had only one person on Sunday afternoon so the there was a bit of wait to get tickets. You can buy online tickets for faster check ins. They have a decent size food counter which is neat and clean. The theater has old school feel and they dont have recliners. Seating is little uncomfortable. Over all it's ok experience. read more

It was not over crowed , socially distanced , seats were spacious and clean . The sound of movie was clear and crisp and screening . It was easy to get snacks and beverages. Talk about the dark ages of movie theaters. In an economic climate with prices soaring, it is upsetting to see places like this charge inflated prices while just doing the bare minimum. The concessions are outrageous, you can't get your own refills and it costs 20 dollars to get a drink a popcorn. To walk in a theatre with a tiny little screen and old worn down and flimsy chairs. All in all it was about 57 dollars to come here to get the bare minimum of the movie you want to see playing on a small screen with quiet speakers and in crappy seats. I have been a patron with my kids for two decades plus and have always had a loyalty card. I didn't realize that at some point the app wasn't working for me so I used the actual number for over a decade. Tonight the manager suggested he could help me and actually reconnected my number to the app account...for all of you managers out there this is what real service looks like. This is a tough review to write, because this isn't really the fault of the workers or management. Every employee I saw was great and deserves recommendation. The problem with this location, to echo what others have said, is that the theatre desperately needs a remodel. You'll find no modern amenities here, and that's unfortunate because again I think the staff is great. To be clear, if you just want to go see a movie, this place will suit your needs just fine. But you won't get any additional fixin's with your burger, so to speak. Please remodel this location! read more

If the theater manager is reading this, please don't take it personally, but I do have a few concerns. My main issue is this: Your property simply doesn't live up to the environment where it's located. The Carmel, Zionsville, Westfield and Fishers areas are the highest per-capita zip codes in the state of Indiana, and yet the overall quality of this theater doesn't seem to match that. I've heard that renovations are being planned, although I have yet to see any construction equipment or announcements about it. I know it sucks, but to lure customers away from their home theater setups, and to somehow convince them to pay the inflated ticket and concession prices (don't even get me started on the concession prices), you kind of have to knock their socks off with true stadium seating, IMAX screens, full reclining seats, and other similar goodies. The parking lot, however, is most certainly your fault. War-torn cities like Beirut and Bagdad have fewer pot holes. You should really do something about that. It's unbecoming. Despite all that, worry not: By virtue of geography alone, you're my theater. We're stuck with one another. I just want you to up your game, bite the bullet and spend the money to completely overhaul and re-build into a modern wiz-bang cinema experience. I'll wait patiently... Have you started yet? I wavered between two and three stars for this review. It's honestly not a HORRIBLE theater, but in the land of all that glitters (Carmel), I would think it would have been one of the first theaters to be upgraded. It's officially 2020, and other theaters have reclining leather seats and craft beer and flatbread pizza and... Oh. Shoot. This review isn't about other theaters. The cloth, uncomfortable, rickety seats were probably installed in 1977. And every bit of ground in whopper, hand-smeared butter from popcorn, and snuck-in Gogurt drippings are still on those seats. The bathrooms are clean-ish. The lobby is freezing in the winter and cold in the summer. The surround sound is only sort of surround-y. It all smells like a cross between the Goodwill across the street and a Chuck E Cheese. But. But. Their staff is delightful. Movies are still movies. The parking lot is large and they do an excellent job of clearing the snow in the winter. The arcade machines in the lobby can be kind of fun. (Okay, so I've never actually played one. I'm trying to make you think I'm cool.) You can now pick your seat when reserving in advanced via Fandango. It's never too crowded unless it's opening weekend of Star Wars or something. And really, we're lucky to have it. read more

Yes, this theatre is old and in need of a good coat of exterior paint and maybe a deep carpet cleaning. However, the seats are clean, the sound is great, they show new movies with lots of different time options, and the people who work here are pretty friendly. Case in point: About five minutes after getting to my seat with my bag of popcorn, I proceeded to accidentally dump the entire bag all over myself and my seat (it's a long story, but it involves children, so I'll blame them). I went to the concession area to buy another bag, but after explaining what happened to the guy behind the counter, he gave me a refill on the house, saying that accidents happen to everyone. Wow! It's a small thing, but that endeared me to this establishment. read more

This place is horrible. I have been here two times. The first time was for a not so popular movie and it was shown in the smallest theatre room I have ever been in. Went back and even though it looked more like a theatre it had too many downfalls. It wasn't dark when the movie started, the screen was tiny and the volume was low. WORST of all, it had to be 50 degrees in there... we had to tell them to turn the AC off AND.... they didn't. There are plenty of theaters around, do yourself a favor and avoid this one. read more
