I loved coming here and have spent a lot of money buying things for this store. But I went in today to shop and I had a bikini in my hand and I was asked about 15 times if I wanted a fitting room. And then the owner comes over and asks and I politely declined in which she said she would hold the bikini at the front and tries to snatch the bikini out of my hand. I have never in my life been treated such a way at a store. I will NEVER be shopping here again. Absolutely rude customer service. read more

Absolutely appalled by the behavior of one of the employees here ( probably 70 years old white woman) From the moment my friend and I walked in, we were followed around the store. It was obvious and uncomfortable. When I tried on a hat, the employee rushed over and said, "That hat is from Paris and it costs $250," as if I needed to be warned about the price. She then redirected me toward the "deals" section. The implication was clear -- she assumed I couldn't afford it. The profiling and condescension were blatant. If you're going to work in retail, learn how to treat customers with basic respect instead of making assumptions based on how they look. Super cute store! They've got an awesome variety of bikinis, was stoked to see that they had jolyn in stock. A lot of reviews mention the bikinis being expensive but tbh that's just how much quality swimwear costs. Not to mention, they've got a huge selection of sale pieces that are marked down a ton (got a two piece kulani kinis set for around $50 when retail is $65 per piece). Staff is very friendly, they are pushy & tell you that you look good in everything you try on so definitely bring someone you trust with you!! I get you are trying to sell a product but don't tell me I look good in a two piece when I clearly can see the mirror & it looks like I'm trying to stuff 2 pounds of bologna in a 1 pound back. With that being said ... my bf did purchase 2 swim suits & let me tell you if I would have seen the price before he paid I definitely wouldn't have said yes to both of them. There was a large variety of bikinis. I did find most of them beautiful even though overpriced. The workers are very pretty too. But my issue is that the other comments on this place is true. I'd give this store 0 stars if i could. All the girls in this store are sweet but the actual manager or owner, some old lady, was so rude and dismissive. I asked a worker and she said it would be fine. I went to exchange a bathing suit and she didn't allow it because i didn't have the tags i found a tag and went back and then she proceeded to say i still couldn't return it because the tag wasn't physically on the bathing suit. The tag was cut off it was just unattached i could easily attach it on. The suit was never worn or washed. They also still had the same bathing suit displayed so it was very inappropriate from the staff. Also their suits are way overpriced for what your getting. read more

This bikini shop has one of the best styles I can find around town. Unfortunately it is run by a rude older woman who I believe is Diane?? The younger ladies helping me were so sweet and willing to help but the older manager was so rude. I was holding a bikini top by the register to ask for a different size and she snatches it out of my hands and says she can hold it behind the register. I told her I was gonna try on some pieces and I wanted a different size and she looked me up and down and walked to the younger lady and asked her what I wanted.... Right in front of me. I went to look at a different bikini top by the register and she beats me to it and snatches it away as if I was racing her and told me she can hold that item behind the register as well if I wanted to buy it. She was so pushy and aggressive. I was shocked and immediately didn't want to be there anymore. My little sister, who was with me over heard her telling the younger ladies that I was weird and that they needed to keep their eyes on me. This experience has been the worst customer service I have ever seen, the old lady (store owner/manger) has no idea how to run a business. She is extremely rude and very selfish has no intent of actually helping you and only cares to take as much money as possible... Tried to return an item with receipt, because the suit didn't fit as intended. Didn't accept it because the tag was off... it is a reattach able tag and the 2 tags designed to be cut were never cut. 0/5 would recommend you're much better off going to one of the neighboring stores. The value is atrocious and customer service is horrible on top of it... I would assume there are no reoccurring customers and this old witch of a lady just leeches off of the tourists. Beware of what you're getting into if you decide to come here. read more

Instead of trying to help my girlfriend find a bikini, the old white lady (manager???) was incredibly rude and disrespectful to her vision of what she wanted, instead opting to project her own views and be hostile to her. the old lady was so unprofessional. its sad because the rest of the employees were super nice but she ruined my whole experience here. I was taking a picture of a bikini top and she started yelling at me "CAN I HELP YOU?" repeatedly. She gave me a heart attack. Once I realized she was talking to me I turned around confused and she was staring so deeply at me. She said something like "what are you doing?". Like maybe I'm taking a picture? She definitely thought I was stealing. Not everyone is stealing and it's rude to assume so. I can tell from your reviews that I'm not the only customer that has had this happen. It's so unprofessional to come at people that way. Secondly, the lady that helped me was very nice but I would suggest that you make sure your customer is okay with you opening the curtain while they are topless. I just had the most incredible experience in Diane's Bikinis. I walked in, not knowing what to expect and haven't shopped for bikinis in a long time. I was greeted by Savanna who when I told her this immediately dropped what she was doing and proceeded to give me the most incredible bathing suit shopping experience I have ever had. Along with Savanna ALL of the other girls, Isabella, Randi and Caitlin were amazing. They were all so helpful, helped each other, and just all of their energy together made for such an incredible shopping experience. Bravo to Diane's Bikinis. This is an incredible store. Diane is a lucky lady to have such a wonderful staff. A true Gem. I bought a lot of bikinis and the ladies handled all of my requests and size changes with such ease and excitement. I went into Diane's today (Mother's Day) with two kids under two in a stroller, by myself, to try on some bikinis. Literally all the girls were SO helpful in helping me find something I liked. They're customer service was relentless. First they asked what I was comfortable in and as busy as they were, went on a scavenger hunt to find something for me (I had a baby 10 weeks ago so it was tough). THEN they cleared out a space for me and my double stroller so I could have my sleeping kids in the dressing room with me. I was so close to giving up but Beth and Sky actually found something that flattered my postnatal body lol. Plus they called me by name. Just wanted to give them some credit for working so hard for their customers and their company, Diane's is lucky to have them! read more

I honestly have never had a worse experience shopping. The younger girls are so sweet, but you can tell they're on edge and afraid to anger the older women. The environment of the store made me extremely anxious and I felt so uncomfortable while simply looking for a new bikini. I would recommend walking a few doors down to HSS or Jacks -- they treat their employees with respect and allow you to create your own experience without pushing their wants and opinions all over you. If I could just rate the younger girls, it would be a 5/5. But, the older women ruined my experience and I will not be coming back. read more

To my surprise, the very next day someone reached out to me and I placed the order and I was able to get the bikini the very next day. Don't get me wrong, Dianes has a wide range of suits and any age can find one that they like. However as a teenager, I didn't feel as though I was a valued customer. All of the workers were following me around the store from the moment I entered, almost as though they were expecting me to steal.
