M&J is a smaller nursery, but they pack a lot of plants inside. 100% of the nursery is under a greenhouse or canopy, which is unusual. So, the plants are in really good shape with no hail damage, heat damage, etc. They have tons of cacti and succulents ranging from extra small to medium. I was able to find a handful of rarer plants during my visit. The prices are fair and the service was excellent. Overall, I thought it was worth stopping by even for only a quick visit.

They're not easy to find. I asked a friend of mine who has a landscape company and he suggested I try Atkins Nursery. I called and spoke to JUNIOR, telling him that all my son wanted for Christmas were two specialty mango trees ... Ho, ho, Ho! Well, turns out that his father was going to Los Angeles to purchase items in a few days and he would definitely look for those trees. My timing was great! But unfortunately there were none available. However, on his own --- his father went back several days later and found four! Atkins Nursery went WAYYYYY above and beyond what most would do! It was so lovely of JUNIOR and his dad to care so much. So please patronize this wonderful business... You'll be so glad you did!!!!!

They filled our horseshoe driveway with 3/4 crush rock and we've gotten so many compliments from our neighbors. They installed an automatic irrigation system, which makes life much easier not to have to worry about turning water off and on. We opted for single trunk Crepe Myrtle trees in every color available. They all look great and have acclimated well to their new home, even in this heat. The work was completed in three weeks. Fast, clean, reliable workmanship and just a fine young man in charge of multitasking and handling it all. There were a couple of minor issues that we easily worked through. Communication was easy and the overall price was right! Thank you Adam and your team for making our home look welcoming and improving the curb appeal!

However we enjoyed that there were no aggressive Sales Men here, trying to make you sign a contract right away. Pricing was only one third of what Moon Nursery quoted to us. Also we got great advice on how to handle the planting and take care of our new trees. Delivery was only $80 to our house in Wildomar. Be sure to walk around the entire property. Smaller items are up front and larger items are found the deeper you go. They didn't have ocotillo plants but their sister location in Desert Hot Springs does. They will ship stuff from their other location to this location if the Fallbrook location doesn't sell a specific plant. They'll take pictures of the plant first before the order is placed. Parking is along the side of the road. Summation: If you're planting a desert garden make sure that you put Mariscal on your list of places to check out.

Easy, free street parking (use the side street or street behind the store--usually, much easier than parking on the 101). I don't shop for pots (or pot) or fountains that often, but I would gladly return. Give these folks a try.
