I took both my ceremony dress and my reception dress here for alterations. Very fairly priced and very kind and helpful. My ceremony dress needed to be hemmed, which was done quickly (within a week). My reception dress ended up not needing any alterations like I thought it did. I really appreciate that she didn't try to add on unnecessary work just to drive up my bill. The whole process was very easy and stress free. Right now during Covid, she is open by appointment only and communicates quickly/easily through texting. Went to Diane's to have my suit altered and she's GREAT!! I brought in my suit to her on Tuesday night and I needed for work the following Monday. She had it done on Friday. Diane need to fix the pants and jacket. The looked and fit perfectly. I will go back when i need things done but, I'll try to give her more time to work on it. read more

I love this tailor shop! I got my military dress uniform tailored here, and it looks fantastic! I'm army, and I also saw Air Force and Marnie uniforms, so she does them all-- and very well! I also got a pair of jeans hemmed, as well as some of my slacks taken in. She gave me a turn around of a week (for 2 slacks taken in/hemmed, jeans hemmed, military uniform and skirt taken in and hemmed), which in my experience is average. The shop had a variety of clientel, there was a man there getting his suit tailored, and also a teenager getting her prom dress altered. It looked as though she does quite a bit of wedding parties as well as simple alterations. She is very kind and her prices are reasonable for a tailor who gets it right the first time. I've reccommended this place to all my friends. Credit cards are accepted. read more

I've been to Diane a few times (once for formal work and once for casual wear) and each time my experience only gets better, i cant imagine myself going anywhere else. From formal suits and gowns to jeans and a shirt she does it all, with amazing craftsmanship might i add. She is a straight shooter, caring, clever and understanding. Walk in, put on/explain your desired alterations, she works her clever tailoring magic and when you come back in a week you'll be one happy customer. I've been in the Army for 17 years, and I've had rank and unit patches re-sewn on uniforms by skilled professionals from Germany to Fort Knox, to Fort Hood, to a half dozen other locations. I had a ton of new patches, badges, and rank to be sewn on once I arrived in Omaha [Papillion]. Diane was not only familiar with this kind of work (her husband is prior Air Force), but she made it look very easy (some of the projects, like sewing onto caps or over/around zippers can be quite complex). Her high level of attention to detail and pride in her work clearly showed. I would recommend Diane (and Diane's Tailoring) to any military member who needs work on uniforms. I had a very nice alpaca wool baseball-style jacket (20+ years old) that was in great condition except that the satin lining had started falling apart. And the pockets needed repair. Diane recommended over-sewing the frayed parts of the lining (basically the shoulders) rather than taking the jacket apart and re-lining it. It looks great and I plan on getting years of additional wear for $35 out of a jacket that would likely cost more than ten times that new. Highly recommended! read more

I love taking my clothes to Diane's. She's friendly, honest & very fast in turn around. I had her alter a dress & then a couple pair of shorts for summer. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the hours of business. I believe she's only open Wed, Thurs, Fri from 2-7. But once I drove by on a Monday & she was there & nice enough to let me pay & pick up my item! Love the service just wish there were more hours open. read more

Diane is very nice and accommodating. I used her services a few months ago when I was preparing for an interview. I was given a short notice before the interviews, so finding someone to hem my pants was difficult. It was hard to reach her by phone, thats the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. So, I went to her store, while she seemed busy, she was quick to help me, and I was in and out in about 15 minutes. She had my pants done by the requested date, she did a great job, and it was a fair price. read more

I recently had a dress hemmed by Diane for a wedding and was left very disappointed. I wanted to give a much better review. She was a super, super nice lady. However, I took my dress into her, and wore the dress while she put pins where it needed to be hemmed. I wore the shapewear that I was going to be wearing with the dress, and the shoes. And when I got the dress back, she said most people don't try on the outfit there when she only hems. So I took it home & didn't worry about it. Well I tried it on the morning of the wedding & it looked like nothing had been done. It was still far too long & I kept stepping on it all day long. $50 down the drain for nothing basically. She was also difficult to get a hold of. She wasn't always there during her store hours (which are only a few days a week anyway), and I would have to leave multiple messages. And then sometimes her voicemail would be full. Overall, I will not be going back & would not recommend her. read more

My daughter was in a car accident last month - she is fine, but her favorite sweatshirt was destroyed when the paramedics cut it off of her. She was heartbroken, because she had to do a lot of cross-country running to earn it. I didn't have a lot of hope, butI stopped in to Diane's Tailoring to ask if there was anything that could be done. I told Diane the story behind the shirt, and she told me that it would be her special project. I can only say that she worked a miracle. She sewed it back together, and added appliqued bandaids to give it a special, quirky, indidvidual look. It was a wonderful Christmas gift for my daughter, and the shirt gets so many compliments from her classmates. I recommend Diane's Tailoring for ANY work you might need done. Diane is a blessing! My husband needed a patch sewn on his Honor Guard uniform for a funeral. I don't have the first clue about sewing so called Diane after finding her on Yelp.
