Great value, Good Service. These guys are lifesavers. Restored my faith in people and business integrity. The first time I came here the AAA battery guy told me I needed an alternator. So a different AAA driver came to do the tow. When he saw where the battery guy recommended he said they recommended certain businesses that are essentially AAA approved but the last person he sent there he had to be towed a week later from the repair place and he ended up taking his car here to Diaz Auto Mechanic. It was the best decision I could've made. There was nothing wrong with the alternator it just needed a new battery. They could have lied and took me for a bunch of money I didn't have but they are honest and I appreciate that. If I don't have to bring my vehicles any where else I will not. I'm a single white woman and my entire life I've been hosed in repairs in everything from cars to household repairs. When I find some I can trust I will not go anywhere else and I recommend them everyone I know. This is that place for car repairs. In November 2025 I took my 07 nissan 350z into this shop because I started have idle issues. The car would shutter as if it wanted to shut off. The car would still would idle within spec. They diagnosed it said let's start with a spark plug ,throttle body cleaning and throttle relearn. These services would cost over 700 dollars. I agree to the services. 2 weeks later I pick up my car to a undrivable surging idle. The car is reving up and down on its own. I pay for the services he provided, spark plug and throttle body cleaning. It cost me over 500 dollars. The mechanic said some one else was working on the car. I've owned the car for about three years and done nothing but oil changes and brakes. Took my car to so cal Z in Colton and the diagnosed it top to bottom and said your 1st problem was a simple vacuum leak. Then your 2nd problem was damaged throttle bodies and your 3rd problem is 2007 nissan 350z ecu is very fussy and will need to get sent off to be reprogrammed. Picked up the car 2 weeks later. The car is still has a high idle but much closer to spec gave it some time for the ecu to relearn. Performed a couple throttle relearns on my own and the car is back to normal. These people are TRULY amazing people. This is a family owned business. My family and I were coming from Fullerton, CA on our way home to Arizona. We were on the road for about an hour and a half. Our car started shaking, then the check engine light went out. We immediately took our vehicle to auto zone. They tested it, said it was a certain piece. My hubs bought the piece/parts. My husband called 3 or 4 places and he got very ridiculous rates for a job so small that was only going to be about 10 minutes to fix. My husband found Diaz Auto online/Yelp. He called and spoke to a very nice lady, he told her we already have the part for it, he asked how much she said do not worry just come in, we will take great care of you. They offered my family and I water, soda and chips. As soon as we got there we felt VERY welcomed. I have major trust issues with trusting mechanics. If y'all come here you will be very satisfied. Diaz Auto is family owned and operated. Saturday before the Super Bowl, afternoon about 2:00 pm my car started overheating out of nowhere. I called Diaz Auto, they said to bring it right in. I was greeted by Yardley who is part of the family ownership. From the start he was straight-forward, courteous, and professional. I got a call right before they closed around 4:45 pm with a full diagnostic of what the problem was, as well as an accurate price to fix it. Since they're closed on Sundays I presumed I'd pick it up on Monday. In actuality, the whole family stayed a couple hours after closing to finish working on my car and I had it back in my driveway by 8:30 pm. Absolutely solid service. I will go to them again if the need arises without hesitation. Additionally, they are more than fair in regards to pricing as well. Family owned and operated, excellent service, excellent pricing.
