While there noticed the meat counter/deli and decided to pick up a couple Italian Sausage Subs. WOW! They were awesome and my wife is a tough sell. Now that we know it was there our next visit came quickly this time we went for the subs and grabbed an Assorted and a Meatball. While we waited we decided to shop a little. Some steaks a couple of their sausages some pirogies, sponge candy and other things. Heck we almost filled a cart while waiting for the subs. Now we've tried the Fried Chicken very good, Sausage sub excellent, deli case sausage, beef sticks, Friday fish fry, fried shrimp etc on and on. We're always treated well and given help and recommendations when requested. We absolutely recommend this local gem.

The turkey and Swiss on rye was ok...the bread was kind of the kids lunch variety rather than the baked sliced loaf most NY delis have...kind of skimpy sized sandwich for the price (turkey is not cooked in house), but they do it with proper spicy brown and Swiss. Thankfully new owners rescued the market and have created a great deli/pizzeria/market in this once vacant, conveniently located space! Most recently my Dad and I ordered a large pizza with one topping (mushrooms) which was pretty pretty tasty. The place can get really busy so plan accordingly. The price of the large pizza as of New Years Eve 2023 was $24.03 with tax paying with a credit card. Can't complain, the large pizza was decently sized and good. When I was in picking up the pizza, I also spotted a variety of meats in the display case. The service from Kalin was great. I look forward to returning in the summer months and checking out the fruits and veggies. Until then, sandwiches and pizzas are the way to go.

Secondly this was the 3rd time I tried to order delivery and they told me they were only doing credit cards tonight and I'm sorry I'm not paying a 3% credit card fee when they are refusing cash payments. Their is no real customer service with the AI answering system, yes you can get to a person but you shouldn't be told by the AI to order online where they will only allow you to play the order if you're paying with a credit card so the cash customers like myself who don't believe in using credit cards all the time because you can spend more than you have. This place lost my business for good and now I'll make sure everyone knows how crappy their customer service is and how they are trying to force you to pay with a credit card and then you have to pay 3% more than cash customers. Sadly I see this place going out of business with the crappy service they now give you.

If you get voicemail, just call back - they're probably on the phone with another customer. Now, about that pizza. Every bite was loaded with the bold salty toppings, bringing a savory, slight spice/pickled kick that paired perfectly with the oils and melted cheese. The toppings reached edge to edge, creating a pizza that was hearty, flavorful, and impossible to put down. Please pencil in a visit to The Deli on a Wednesday to grab one of their pizzas. I do recommend ordering ahead to claim your dough. This version reads like a Yelp review and really highlights the texture and flavor of a loaded Sicilian pie.
