This was the best DiCarlos I've had since I've married into the Ohio Valley. The crust was crispy and not overdone, the dough was soft and delicious and the sauce was excellent. Not being from the area I am still getting used to the cheese situation (which the cheese was good as well) but this past carry out was the best I've had from this chain establishment! Upon pickup the service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was clean!! This will be my new DiCarlos go to location read more

Crispy crust with cold cheese and pepperoni, very good pizza. Descent price and friendly service.

I am not from the Ohio valley and so maybe I have different expectations for pizza. The crust was crispy which was good but that was the best part. Disappointed that the cheese was not melted and seemed that it wasn't int the oven very long. Nothing special about the sausage sauce. Pizza is pretty easy to get right and hopefully this place will try a bit harder. Check the reviews after mine to see if they are getting better reviews. read more

Amazing pizza! Got the melted cheese and cooked pepperoni 15 slicer but had them add the cold cheese after it was all cooked. "Cold cheese pizza" was amazing. The sauce was perfect and the crust had just enough crunch that it held the toppings perfectly with no sag. read more

Interesting pizza. Guys behind the counter were friendly and pizza was good. The idea of cold toppings was weird at first. The crust was tasty and the sauce was simple- not too spicy or sweet. The cheese and toppings were yummy. Just a good, simple and truly unique pizza. The cold toppings work but I wouldn't want it all the time. I come in after working in the field to have a few slices. I ask for some sliverware (or plastic... I'm not picky) to eat the pizza because I have some dirt on my hands. the DiCarlo's employee informs me they do not have any sliverware... okay, I head to the bathroom to wash my hands... no soap. If there's no soap in the restroom, what are the employees who make the food using to wash their hands? I won't be back. read more

Since they moved a few storefronts up and added seating here (in a combined smoking/gambling room) there is nothing lacking from this location. Not quite as tasty as Elm Grove, but still delicious Dicarlo's. Best pizza in the valley. read more

I always stop at this Dicarlos Pizza Shop when I am in Moundsville. I grab a take-and-bake pizza with the toppings on the side. My kids love heating up the pizza bottom and throwing the toppings on top at home. Everyone is so nice, and friendly every time I come in. read more

This place used to be so great. My, how far it has gone downhill. I have tried several weeks in a row to call in an order on the weekend. Someone always picks up, says "DiCarlos, hold please" and puts me on hold, never to return again. I've waited on hold 20 or more minutes to actually drive there, walk in the shop and find the employees just messing around not caring. I told one of them that they placed me on hold and left me there and he just kind of shrugged it off. I emailed their corporate office to let them know of the issues and those people didn't even care enough to email back. This place sucks. Corporate doesn't care about the store and the employees don't care about the customers. You're better off going to either another location or learning to enjoy another pizza. I recently moved away from the area and others I'm sure will agree Dicarlos is a must have when they get back to WV. I usually order downtown Dicarlos because that's the mouth watering Dicarlos I crave when I think of the name. My boyfriend and I are staying in Moundsville, so we decided to give Glen Dale Dicarlos a shot. We ordered 6 pieces of pizza and a calzone. I'm pretty sure they burnt plastic in my calzone because it tasted and smelled pretty bad. The pizza was alright. Maybe they are just using cheaper ingredients at this location, but if you are going to order Dicarlos I wouldn't recommend ordering at this one. read more

So dissapointed in how far this place has dropped. This is no longer the place I ate at as a kid, nor the place I made a 10 hr road trip to eat at when I returned from overseas. Ordered 12 pieces today after camping for 2 weeks, hadn't been there in last 6 months or so due to living in Washington dc area. All I asked for was extra cheese and yellow peppers. I arrive pay, then a small plastic baggie worth peppers is placed pin the box. I looked confused, because I was. I am then told oh forgot to place those on so we just have you a baggie full. How does this correct the issue? If I wanted cold peppers that I would place on I would have just not paid the extra price and stopped and bought a jar. Ontop of that I own the box to find they failed to place extra cheese on as well. I used 1/3 shaker of cheese but it was not the same. I leave disgusted but after driving 2 hours and trading down tents for 4 hours was not in mood to argue or wait for a fix. I start down three road reach over to grab a piece and it's cold. I called this in was told 25 min was there in 27 and it's flipping cold. I have no intentions to stop again. If running a great business and pizza shop into the ground is the goal they see achieving it. read more

This pizza is like no other. Yes it sounds weird, cold toppings, but trust me it's amazing! First they sauce the crust and let me say the sauce is super fresh and clean with real crushed tomatoes and spices simple but perfect. Then they bake till the crust is golden, I recommend you ask them to make the crust extra crispy, it just makes it all balance out perfectly. They pull out the pizza and THEN they top it with mounds of cheese and choice if toppings. The sauce and crust are the stars here, they stand on their own, but topped with the cheese and extras is icing on the cake. You can order by the slice it go for a while tray which my family does on Friday nights. A tray will happily feed a family of 6. While your there, grab a pepperoni roll, same crust as the pizza it takes pepperoni rolls to a new level. read more

It's a Saturday night at 9:00 and you have to wait over 30 minutes to get your pizza. Not because they are busy, but because they are standing around not making pizzas. 7 workers and a half an hour wait, ridiculous. read more
