All my reviews I give based on what the place is advertising and it's a definite 4/5 but close 5/5. I only give 5s for perfection. First atmosphere is casual but still nice- I love the modern casual type decor. You can definitely sit down Dts a booth/table or just chat/drink/munch at the bar. Our service was the best part- every single staff member seemed to be working as part of a team. They would bust others plates and assist tables if they could even if it wasn't their role/area. Everyone was extremely friendly I think that's where they should be getting a 6/5. The food was good and prices seemed fair for a jazzir casual place. I had the taco trio personally with sweet potato fries and loved the fries and mayo/maple sauce. My tacos were ok but besides the chicken (which the meat is cooked in some flavorful sauce) they were all a bit bland. One of my companions said it usually comes with a salsa but I'd already eaten two and I'm like let's not bother to get it now. Everyone else liked their dishes. Especially their posole side to the enchilada it had a kick and was better than most I had (I bet their posole soup is great). Their dessert was also excellent. Overall-4/5 prices seemed fair, staff was amazing, food very good but not mind shattering. Some salsa or but more kick to the pork/beef tacos are my only complaint. I would like to go back again and try more dishes like their posole, frito pie, and veggie enchiladas seemed all amazing as well. read more

This pub has a good section of beer and mixed drinks. The food menu is small, but varied. We had the BLT and taco trio. The BLT was made with excellent bread and the tacos were chicken, pulled pork and ground beef. They offer Italian dishes, also. Great lunch option. Service was 2 people covering many tables, but food arrived in a timely manner and drinks were watched for refills. Many TVs tuned to sports provided entertainment. We usually don't stop off in Las Vegas New Mexico but I'm sure glad we did this trip. I'm also glad to have chosen to eat at Dick's Pub and Restaurant. Very nice environment, the inside was nice and clean including the restrooms. We sat outside on the little street side patio to enjoy the fresh air under and umbrella, luckily because it started to sprinkle a little. I ordered the Pesto Spinach Shrimp Pasta plate and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor of the pesto sauce. The shrimp were delicious, loved the added flavor of the sun dried tomatoes. The burger was big and juicy with lots of pickles, the French Fries also deserve a mention because they were seasoned with an amazing mix of spices, so good! The wait staff was pleasant and attentive, Kudos to the chef! If we ever need to stop off in Vegas again we will definitely return to see what's on the menu. read more

I am so excited to have moved so close to this really nice pub. I haven't been in yet but ordered the Salmon for takeout and it was absolutely fabulous!! I was extremely pleased with the cook on it and the seasoning. I chose spinach and replaced the potatoes with avocado slices. My compliments to the Chef, I enjoyed my meal immensely!! Huge disappointment all the way around! We ordered lunch via their online portal. I had to enter my checkout info 3 times because by the time I got through it, the committed time was no longer available. This required entering all my info, cc #, 3x. We parked in the back parking lot then called them 12 times over the next 25 minutes to let them know we were there for curbside service. They never once answered their phone. We finally figured out we had to wait in the alley, so we pulled in there. Still no answers to our phone calls. The car ahead of us got their food after about 5 minutes, then the worker tried to race back inside without taking our name. We were able to stop her, and we got our food about 10 minutes after the committed time. My turkey sandwich was of lower quality than a gas station machine sandwich. Burger King gives more tomato and lettuce in their burgers! My wife's $2.50 side of avocado was in the smallest plastic cup possible (1/2 oz? 1 oz?) and turned out to be guacamole, not avocado slices. We then parked in the shade on a nearby street only to find that there were no plastic utensils and no napkins in the bag - how does one eat an enchilada and veggie quinoa without a utensil? The woman who brought our food out seemed to consider us customers as a bother rather than the way customers should be treated, even though we were quite nice to her. Never again. read more

The food was terrible. The salad was beyond plain tasting. No cheese, no croutons, the lettuce tasted like they hadn't washed it. Chicken club sandwich was dry. No condiments with sandwich. I had the pulled pork sandwich. It tasted like it was just pulled out of freezer. Waiter was not attentive or anyone else. People were smoking pot at the entrance to restaurant. Taking a car trip from Chandler AZ to Grand Island NE. We stopped in Las Vegas, NM for lunch and were fortunate to be pointed to Dick's. I was surprised by the interesting menu. I got a distinct impression that this was a very popular local hang-out place. We were going to have an early supper but restaurant side didn't open till 5 p.m., so we sat in a booth in the pub side. There was a loud music and lots of loud laughter filled with local folks. When I asked for recommendation at the hotel, front desk clerk gave us a complimentary coupon for free chips and salsa. I especially liked the green pineapple salsa--it was a great combination of sweetness and adequate heat. Our bartender "Chris" was very energetic, friendly and pleasant with great sense of humor and took care of us very well though he was very busy with tending the bar. Excellent food--my Green Chili Enchilada (special of the day) was very tasty and made me full. My wife also enjoyed her Southwest Grilled Chicken salad. I will start with the good. The pinto beans are cooked well and have good flavor. The blue corn tortillas and the green chile are both delicious. Our server was amazing and very attentive. However, my 9-year-old watched a kitchen staff member handle raw shrimp then sprinkle chocolate chips onto a sundae. He then ate a few chocolate chips. No hand-washing. The kids burger tastes exactly like a microwaved convenient store burger. I will never understand why places will serve lesser quality food to kids like they don't deserve equally good food or as if their food isn't paid for the same as anyone else's. read more

Travelled the US lower 48 3x...this is worst pub we've ever been to. 1/2 ounce bar vodka shots and the food is so bad the rats are given penicillin shots...or, the food here is so bad... yeah, and such small portions too. We stopped in here thinking it would just be a quick run of the mill bar food burger place. Boy were we WRONG. The food was incredible. I had salmon in a chipotle cream sauce and it was quite possibly the best salmon I've had in years. My husband had vegetarian enchiladas and he said they were fantastic. Food was great but after I got the tab I gave the waiter my card; I use chime so I watched on the app as I was charge $82, which was a lot considering it was only two of us and we ate pretty cheap. I watched the waiter go look around confused and I told my girlfriend this seemed expensive. I was then charged $56 which seemed more like the proper amount. They charged my for someone elses meal and my own. They said they " Voided" it but I'm still currently waiting on the money to come back. $138 for a $56 meal. Never had this happen before; I understand mistakes happen but I'd just be careful. Seems like I'll have to fight the charge on my card. read more
