We wait and wait, finally get water, more waiting, finally place our order. People who came in five minutes after us get their drinks & food long before us. We wait another 10 minutes. Finally get our entrée and salad about a half hour after we placed our order. Everyone else in the small restaurant seems to get their food in a normal amount of time.   I know kitchens can get backed up, and wires get crossed. So I asked the waitress in a friendly tone why it took so long. She looked at me with an expression like, "Huh!? You jerk, we're not McDonalds," and basically shrugged. So yeah, that is frustrating. To wait way too long, the waitress doesn't realize we've been sitting there, and basically doesn't give a s---.   And the food was okay.
