This store in general has gone downhill. They carry literally next to nothing with regard to Bucs or USA World Cup jerseys. We went to look at adjustable dumbbells. They carry one brand with one in stock. Their mountain bike selection is also horrible. Shoes. Nice selection. Sad right? It's sad that you have to order sports jerseys from Amazon because the local 50,000 sq. ft. sports store doesn't even attempt to cater to professional sports fans. read more

bought a yoga mat for my wife, seems to be good quality, but when shopping at Dick's beware of the way they arrange the price tags on the shelf, it's the opposite of the grocery store, the price for your item is above it, not below it. the person ahead of me in line thought they got $79 sneakers but they were $129, i thought my yoga mat was $49 but it was $129. They put the higher priced items on the higher shelves and the price at the bottom is not for your item, but you won't know until after you've been waiting in line at the register and counting on people just to buy it anyways. read more

I walked into this store with my wife, my kid and 4 of his football teammates as we had just finished a game and needed some equipment. As soon as i walked in, we had a person who worked there start following us. I thought it was weird so i looked at other children come in with their parents and they were not followed. Difference? I had 2 African American kids with me. They even try to hide it is that sad part. Then my wife try to lighten the mood by saying "they aren't tired after 2 games wow" and the man literally said "it's the brown tissue"..... one of my kids threw a football and we got told to stop yet 5 minutes later a kid was bouncing his basketball and passing it with his friend and not one word. We left to the exercise equipment where we were once again obviously followed. Then we went to golf and i guess they saw we were on so they send someone else who very awkwardly stood infront of us just staring at us. Made us feel really uncomfortable. Then as we were going to pay, my boys were laughing and pushing alittle and one of workers screamed st them. I literally said out loud got all to hear "this is why boys can't be boys anymore and end up doing bad stuff". They all just looked at me and put their head down. Sad that racial profiling is still happening today! Also we called them and they try to hush us by giving us 300 points into my account. Changed need to be made and points won't do that! read more

Meh. I've gone in here a couple times and unfortunately haven't ever really been impressed. I typically can never find an employee whenever I have a question, so I end up having to go back to the front to find someone. Recently I was looking for exercise bands for my legs and after searching the store to no avail, I asked an employee who just said "did you look where the exercise equipment is?" and didn't bother to come with me to look (yes I had checked there already). After another 15 minutes of searching, I finally found them. There are no bicycles or roller skates, unsure as to why they are never restocked unless it is due to the virus....? What really did it for me was the insane amount of greasy fingerprints I could see all over the screens of the exercise machines that are available for you to test out. Didn't look like they had been wiped down in months. Gross. They have some cute work out clothes but thats about it. read more

Checking out their online ad, I saw a gun I wanted to purchase. I drove the 45 minutes it took to get there and could not find a gun department. I asked a clerk and he told me they don't sell guns at that location. He said to get them "online." The online ad said the gun was at the location. The online ad said the gun was not online and in store only. Since nobody made an attempt to ensure customer satisfaction, I am led to assume that they don't give a damn about their customers. I wasted four gallons of gas and two hours of my time being sent on a wild goose chase, but the thing is that nobody in the store cared. I don't care either because they will never see one dollar from me or my family. Dick's better get their game going before the competition puts the final nail in their coffin. Yelp needs a zero stars option or a puke emoji because thats what Dick's makes me feel like doing. read more

I'm huge on customer service. Huge on making sure the customer is taken care of. Regardless if Covid is going on, customers have expectations. Holiday hours state you're open at 9, and I'm sitting outside several mins pass 9 am. Not a huge deal about waiting past opening hour, except when you're holding your team meeting instead of opening the doors. After making a few customers wait, not a single employee said anything as we walked in or walked around. Walked in and right out. Employees looked frumpy and annoyed. You'd think with covid you'd be on top of making sure everyone is happy and taken care of. This store seems to take social distancing to the extreme by not talking to customers period read more

My Family of 3 went into our local "Dicks Sporting Goods" this evening and was greeted by a wonderful gentleman name Gene, who was from the golf department. He went out of his way to bring us a shopping cart because he realized I was carrying our child who had fell asleep on our ride over. Gene helped us find the trampoline we were looking for and when he went in the back to grab us a flatbed buggy for the trampoline he also got our daughter a mint and made her day. Gene even helped us load the trampoline all while helping other customers as well. His selfless customer service should be implemented to every employee around.
