This location constantly smells like weed. No matter the time of day, that's what I smell. If that's your thing, you might love it here. Employees are hit or miss. Most times they act like they don't want to be here. Truthfully, Dick's isn't my favorite place for workout clothes, coats, workout gear, etc. I feel like they never have deals or sales. I can't justify spending $30 on an Under Armor or Nike shirt. The store itself is fairly clean, which I do appreciate it. Plenty of space so you're not stuck on top of others, too. Curbside pickup is offered for online pickup orders. Or you can pick up orders inside. Either option is pretty easy and appreciated. read more

I came to the store looking for winter hiking gear. There wasn't a wide selection in the women's department for pants, but I did find one style that I could try on. A sales person has to unlock the fitting rooms. The first one she opened was very dirty. The second one had lots of dust on the floor. Is it that hard to clean a space before unlocking the door and letting a customer in? That was disappointing. They need more variety for winter gear. read more

Need self check out stations. More people on the floor helping customers. Employees that do not hide from the public. I was not impressed when I went in to buy simple products and could not get any help. Had to find the products my self and when I tried to check out it was a nightmare long line. Same experience as the other location they apparently do not care for Michigan outdoorsman They have changed to be a glorified Footlocker or Walmart selling only jerseys and cool t-shirts do not shop here if you are a conservationist or do anything other than weekend warrior stuff. read more

Cashier was extremely rude to begin with, when my husband asked if they had Military discount she stared at him and he had to ask again. She then scanned our items and to my realization did not give us the discount even though she saw his ID. read more

It's apparent this store is under staffed. Boxes and stock littered throughout the store and only two employees that were visible the entire time I was in the store, both manning registers. A couple that walked in at the same time as me were complaining they couldn't find anyone to help. What I found was that they don't wear name badges nor any sort of uniform so they blend in with the customers. You really have no idea who is who. I approached the desk to claim my pick up that merely asked for my name, nothing else. A third employee emerged with my package. I asked if I needed to sign anything he stated I did not. He was very kind and walked the package to my car for me. That was the highlight of the visit. It's amazing in this day and age they don't have a better system to verify they're releasing online orders without any verification oh well....not real enthusiastic about returning to this location. read more

In last 2 months, I went to getting New Balance shoes, 2 Under Armour shirts and white headband and wristbands and 10lbs dumbbells for light. I needed 15 and 20lbs dumbbells to doing toning for bingo wings, when I can buy basketball, I would've afford it, but all those equipment may kinda sporty. Whether go playing sports or just getting hunting gears. At Dick's Sporting Goods, it's every seasons! Went in for shoes. Tried on 3 pairs. One Adidas, one Asics and one "Brooks" . Decided to buy the adidas and the brooks. Physically pointed at the shoes we were buying and said the brooks and the adidas .Then the salesmen double checked as he was handing them to us that he was giving us the correct brands. I've been to this Dick's before to get dumbbells and plates for my home gym and they had almost everything I was looking for. I was able to get 25lbs and 45lbs plates, and a bunch of various dumbbells from 10lbs up to 45lbs. They didn't have every single weight I wanted, but close to it. Unfortunately, the prices are a little high (I've gone on craiglist for some stuff), but if you're looking for a good selection of new weights, this place is great. The absolute WORST shopping experience on the planet!!! Short and sweet............I bought a treadmill and made arrangements to have it delivered and set up. Delivery date confirmed ( a Wednesday) I had to burn a vacation day to make sure I was home. 11 pm the night before delivery-11 pm!-I get a call saying the delivery would need to be rescheduled! Not acceptable. So Wednesday I called the store and canceled. But they gave me a big hassle, very rude, belligerent, unprofessional. I will not be returning to this location. I was going to purchase a shirt that was originally $55, but it was on sale for $48. When I took it to the register, it rang up at the original price. I politely told them that the shirt was on sale. Multiple times they told me it was not, and that it was new in stock so there was no possible way it was on sale. I told them I would walk them to the back of the store where the rack was with the sign. The sales associate then saw the sign and kept checking the rack over and over to make sure it was correct, and by that time I had lost my patience and told him I was no longer interested in purchasing the shirt. The store is not bad. The manager was nice but said this sales associate was one of her better ones. That is sad for her. The sales associate K---- was horrible. I asked her to explain the rewards coupon policy to me again because "I did not understand anything you just said. Can you explain it again?" She replied "No I said it once and that is the only way I know how to explain it so you wont understand no matter what." I asked for the manager to explain it and K---- said I had an attitude.(WHAT?) Then she would not leave after her manager said she was taking care of it and asked this sales associate to leave 3 or 4 times. I will not return to this location. The help there is questionable.
