I came in on a Thursday at 8:55 looking to exchange a pair of shoes I had gotten from Foot Locker (did you know FL owns FA? I just learned) & the staff could not have been nicer. I know there is nothing more annoying than ringing up an exchange five minutes before closing but no one in the entire store even showed an inkling of annoyance. The manager immediately helped to answer the questions I had, & a very sweet young man showed me the options I could choose from. In the end, I didn't even exchange because they didn't have my size but when I apologized for coming in so late & leaving empty handed the manager replied "no worries at all! Remember, we work for you! Have a wonderful week!" I am so impressed with the customer service & the fantastic staff- from now on I will always go to foot action for my feet needs! Love love love.

In August, I stopped by in person to check on them since I hadn't received a call. At that point, staff could not locate my shoes and said they would contact me once they found them. These were Vince flats that cost nearly $400. Since then, I have called multiple times, only to be placed on hold until the call disconnects. No one has followed up, and there has been no attempt to take responsibility or resolve the issue. My shoes have either been misplaced or stolen, and the lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable.

I must have tried on six or seven pair as the sizing between the two brands was slightly different. The guys never complained or seemed put out. They were extremely helpful. As long as Chester Boot Shop is in business, I will never buy a pair anywhere else. As far as value, I would say that they are inline with any online retailer's pricing. However, if I can support a local, small, family-owned, customer focused business in my community, I will... always.

They looked like a pair he owned 35 years ago, but updated. The salesman was extremely helpful in helping him find his size. Here is why…read more My mom and I came here two days ago and I tried on these dress shoes and they fit with the thin socks I had on. When I came home I put them on with my nylons and walked around the house with them. The problem I had was that they were loose with the nylons. So I went back to the store to return them for another size. When I arrived to exchange them the woman wouldn't let me get another size because I wore them. It was one day I tried them on at home! What ever happen to the costumer is always right?
