I was the only Black customer in the shop at the time, and the pattern of being repeatedly passed over while others were helped first did not feel random. When I asked about my order, I was told they were "busy," but that didn't match what I was seeing--people were consistently being served ahead of me. Being ignored for that long while others moved through quickly made me feel unwelcome and singled out. Whether intentional or not, the way this was handled came across as discriminatory and needs to be addressed. I hope management takes this seriously, looks into what happened, and ensures that all customers are treated fairly and respectfully.

I expected themed drinks but wow, did they go all out with the decorations and little surprises. They had games like a Horcrux Hunt going on, little wands you could use to turn on and off lights, a super fun photo opportunity area, and people in full costume to greet you! The outdoor movie area had some tables and hay bales. Many brought their own chairs. The screen was a bit small and I wish the parking lot lights had been turned off however, probably not possible and none of that really relates to the coffee shop lol. They pulled off a really lovely event that left me with some great memories and a chance to dive back into childhood nostalgia. Also, those macarons were SO good and my friend loved the themed hot chocolate she got. I know that they do other events from time to time. Hats off to the event planner! As an aside, the space here is absolutely lovely and I hope to come back again soon on my remote work day.

It's a go-to neighborhood store. Today, I was happy to learn that they carry women's steel toed shoes, that I needed. Christine waited on me, showing me options, including clearance shoes. I selected a pair that was not only functional, but felt like slippers, fitting perfectly. Pricing was similar to online options. While I was there I noticed how well stocked they were with summer shoes (all high-end quality brands), beautiful handbags and tons of Zionsville themed clothing. I had to leave before I bought more! There is a small office with a cutout window that the shop owner, Shelly, can welcome customers. After just a few minutes of shopping, it was clear that Shelly has a real passion and knowledge of her products and the customers she hopes to serve. My wife kept finding items she liked and Shelly was able to tell her whether the brand ran large or small, was able to show other pieces that would coordinate with the piece, and some other products/accessories that might be useful. One of the cool options is that she has a customer list that you can sign up for online to periodically receive gift boxes selected for you based upon the profile you provide. You have the option to select frequency, dollar limits, piece limits, etc. You keep what you like and pay only for those and send the undesired pieces back. You can stop by anytime to meet with Shelly to fine tune your choices. Some folks even do this as a gift option for friends/relatives. Although there are many of these shoe stores in Central Indiana, this was our first visit to the shop. My wife was thrilled to find a large selection of boots in a wide variety of styles and colors and SIZES. We were greeted when we entered and encouraged to browse. We were asked if we were looking for anything specific and since we were, she directed us to four aisles of boots! They also have some comfy seats in the aisles to try on a shoe to see how it fits. (Note that they only have one shoe in a box to avoid having customers grab and go without paying. Fortunately, when my wife liked one of the options she tried on, the sales clerk asked her what size she wanted and explained she would have to make a quick trip to the back to find the matching shoe for my wife lonely boot. My wife had the companion shoe within a minute or two and it fit as well as the other. The clerk carried the boots to the counter (along the side of the store) while my wife put on the pair she wore in. On our way to the counter, my wife noticed a few more (non-shoe) items that she decided to pick up as well. My wife was impressed that they had such affordable shoes as well as a large selection. I don't know if this is a place she would go looking for a "fancy" pair of shoes, but she was pleased that they carried so many functional shoes and related items in a clean store that was organized and maintained. She is already looking for the next opportunity to head back here to pick up some sandals (she's dreaming of warmer weather) that have straps on the back of the heel. So I decided to head to the store and see what else they had. They did indeed have the exact pair I was looking for, but I also enjoyed looking around. Their face masks are the best so of course I stocked up on those as well. The store was not busy whatsoever, and it was spotless. All racks were very well organized by size and straightened.
