This year the lights started flickering and was not adjustable. Oped it up and found the yellow wire had broken off at the battery pack adjustment. I figured I'd contact them to see if they did repairs. Not warranty. Just a paid repair. I called. I emailed. I tried both again. Nothing. I looked for a manual or their wrbsite. The website is mostly non functional. Url is ".us" instead of ".com." Useless website. Useless phone and email system. Don't expect any factory representation if there's a problem. Regret ever buying the thing.

I rarely get to go to brick and mortar stores where I can actually try things on. This was a treat! It was nice to find hiking gear and lightweight jackets that I wanted. They had a good selection of hiking boots, too. The prices were high (I thought), but the quality was there. The store is huge, well organized, immaculate and packed with merchandise. Spring colors were everywhere. I encountered several clerks who asked if I needed help. The check out area is in the back of the store, which I found a bit odd. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall lot. I'll be back.

There's a front and back entrance, the back has 1-2 reserved parking spots. It's a fairly small place but packed with stuff: sleeping bags to keep you warm in the mountains, apparel from brands like Patagonia, water bottles, candles that smell amazing, camping chairs, knives, and more! The customer service is out of this world. Multiple folks working, all really friendly. When you ask to see something from the case, they answer questions about the product t but don't try to sell it - thank god, that is annoying and it's nice to not have that pressure. They sell quality items so their sales folk don't really have to hustle like that. Anyways, very pleasant experience!

He's in between bike sizes right now, so we've had to try them in person to be sure of the fit. Academy has a whole row of bikes that you can pull off the shelves and sit on. They have children's bikes and adult bikes, everything from mountain bikes to cruisers to hybrid. They have a pretty good selection! I would add Academy to your list of places to visit if you're looking for a bicycle. Beyond bikes, Academy has lots of things for almost every sport or physical activity, it seems like.
