Amazing prices, good location. They have a bulk of summer stuff on sale. So many $3.00 things for girls, the. $5.00 womens shorts and shirts. Winter stuff is still pricey of course. But all the shoes and summer stuff are on sale, The line does get long for the cashiers. But with these prices can't complain.

The ground floor still looks kind of sparse, did not expect the Huge basement with an enormous Selection of tennis shoes with Many in half sizes, When they have more than one identical shoe in the same size they should put it under the shoe on top WHY make me pull out each pair of shoes to see you what's below (- ** stars) .. Did not see anything marked as wide or extra wide. Many Hiking boots and slippers.

Tons of good deals here. Plenty of recently released shoes for running here, and so many aisles of clothes that are all marked down.

Saks in Chevy Chase is a throwback to a more genteel era. Stores like this used to have snooty…read morereputations but nowadays I always find the staff very friendly and welcoming. While the standalone men's store across the District line is now sadly gone, the third floor is now the men's department and has just a good of a selection as the old store. What I like about Saks compared to Neiman Marcus or Bloomingdales is that Saks still has a top notch, high quality private label collection of menswear basics. In addition, their sales can be great, especially on the private label clothes. The new parking lot arrangement is very odd. When you park you have to scan a QR code, pay for parking, and then Saks can give you a discount code inside that makes it free. It's a lot of steps for what used to be just handing over a validation ticket. Given that the clientele here skews quite old, I can't imagine this change has gone over well. If you are a regular customer, your sales associate can register your plate and then you don't need to go through this whole rigamarole each time.

I had placed an order on the app. I can see the transaction on my credit card. However, I cannot…read moresee the pending order on their website, nor have I received a confirmation email. I called their customer service about it. The wait was not too long. The customer service representative could not find anything about it. He seemed annoyed by my request. He gave me the phone number of a third party company that handles their credit card transaction to confirm whether the transaction went through or was a hold. He was ready to hang up to get rid of me. Why should I call a different company? Anyways, I did it, after being on hold for 20 minutes, the other representative was just as clueless, did not ask for any information. Once I told him it was an amex card, he told me they only handle visa and mastercard transactions. Now I need to call Saks again to find the subsidiary that handles their amex transaction?! What a horrible waste of time, and inefficient workflow. They should have audit logs in place for their representatives to access and understand what went wrong. They just had zero explanation and wasted my time for nothing.

Walked in here today with a friend in search of a dress for a film festival. The cheerful lady…read morehelped my friend find a lovely blue dress from the Black Label collection, unfortunately her size was sold out and had to be shipped from Bal Harbour. The store carries for women: Blue Label - Polo for women Black Label - More modern sylings that are vanity-sized (my size 6 friend fit a 2) Collection - Runway pieces and fancy accessories Men's collections are: Polo - Legendary collection that redefined American menswear Black Label - Modern menswear with European influence, runs rather fitted unlike the women's collection Purple Label - Finely-tailored menswear with generous British cuts, everything is made in Italy The storefront changes every season, currently whitewash and hardwood to advertise the winter sale and resort collection. The inside is decorated to resemble rooms in a fine home with closets for fitting rooms and wooden tables instead of selling fixtures as well as comfortable chairs to make the store seem more personal. The store mainly focuses on the Black Label and Purple Label sportswear lines for men and the Blue Label and Black Label collections for women. The pieces in this store reflect the unadventurous, reserved nature of D.C. fashion especially for men, except for a really funky Black Label shirt jacket with technical fabric and leather trim. This location does not carry my favourite collection RRL, Ralph Lauren's vintage denim and western brand. The store is a bit on the small side but no larger than the other boutiques in this mall Five stars for the exceptional service. One star off for limited product selection, and one more star off for no RRL.

As I went in the store, there was an employee on an iPad or phone and she looked at me over her eye glasses and then just kept on doing what ever it was she was doing. I found the bag I was looking for and then turned and saw more bag so I started looking at them and actually found a really cute one. I was just about to ask someone to help me so I could purchase it when another employee walked up to me but just stood there and stared at me. So I put the purse down and walked out. Very weird! I'll never go there again. I thought about buying the bag online because it was really cute, but I don't want any reminders of my experience at this store.

I recently attended the leggings swap event at Tyson's Corner, like the other reviewer. I received…read moreseveral emails/texts about the event and so I registered, while noting the #s in my party. We got there at 10AM (when it started) but entered through the Macy's entrance. When we got to Athleta, there was already a huge line snaking its way inside the mall, they must have entered thru a main mall entrance. While I agree with the recent reviewer that the lines were organized, but while waiting in line, some people said THEY didn't register and were sent emails advising, they could come on over, without registering. To make matters worse, after waiting 2.5 hours and having multiple employees come to the line and take counts, when we got to the front of the line to exchange the old leggings for the new ones. We were told "it's over, we only had 500 and we ran out". That's it, no apologies, no warning they were running low, nothing, just a dismissive go away attitude. So infuriating! They still had leggings on the table and after asking, they said they would offer a 20% discount, if we exchanged leggings and with a purchase. How dare them! No thanks, I could get that any time, without waiting 2.5 hours. There was also still a big line behind us. What a joke! What was the point of pre-registering if everyone could just show up? And what was the point of having several employees do a count? They seemed to be lacking in their counting skills since their numbers were way off. Although the idea was noble and good, the execution of the event was terrible. Shame on Athleta!
