California dude here so, I'm obviously gonna give you 5 stars! Obviously because I'm no bbq expert except the fact that I love it! Upon arrival to the great state of Tennessee, I obviously had to go get me some bbq. My buddy, who I came to visit, lives right down the road and he strongly recommended this spot. Obviously, needless to say, so glad he did! Obviously. What we ordered (which was waaaaaaay too much food), the #2. 1 1/2 lbs of delicious pulled pork. With two sides, Cole slaw and baked beans. And 8 buns. The set up was so dang simple it made me cry with joy hahaha. Not really, obviously. This was for 3 people btw. The pulled pork was fire! The baked beans were so good as well. The Cole slaw, well, it was cole slaw :) The customer service was fantastic and oh my, everything was put together in a lickety split! Took all this wonderful grub to the house and we feasted on some good ole Tennessee barbecue! Honestly, I have never really been a fan of pulled pork, well, till now! BBQ and sides aren't bad. Ribs are good, too. Pretty cheap. If we want a quick meal, we'll go there. There is better BBQ in Jackson though.

If you are looking for smoked bbq with blackened flavorful smoke ring into your pork, this is not your place. Nothing special from the 2 plate dinners and 1 bbq sandwich we got. I truly believe I could get my smoker and a food truck and put this one out of business. The prices were not bad , but none of us completely finished our meal, including the French fries. . I love me some smoked bbq but we won't be trying this again. I might have giving two stars if I had been starving. read more

I went through the drive thru. I asked for the rib plate. The young lady said you want the 4 bones or 1/2 I said the sign says 1/2 I could not make her understand anything I said. I said small water she said you want the 20 or 32 ounce. I ordered tea and when I didn't get it , I said you forgot my tea. She argued that I didn't order it. Well my co worker assured her I did. I was not going to use my debit card for 2.00. I left without the tea . The worker was not capable of running a drive thru for sure. Rude to boot. The food was OK. The ribs were tender, a little dry but with mild sauce OK. I would prefer a sweeter sauce. I also order the pecan pie. It was not homemade but average place. Tried this on our way to Alabama. Got pulled pork sandwiches, both regular and jumbo. Plenty of meat on both, great value for the price. Didn't try anything else so not giving a 5 rating as didn't try more items. The sauce was good--not thick sauce, more thin consistency but the flavor was very good. The lady at the counter had no interest in answering my questions (no one was waiting behind me) and she said that she didn't have time for this. If we could give this place 10 we would in every category. BBQ chicken was off the charts good and pulled pork was right behind. Perhaps best potato salad I've ever had outside of wife's. We just happened by during stew season and stumbled into a wonderful accident. BBQ meat infused into a bountiful stew is really a work of art. We have ordered here probably 30 times over the past few years, it was always a good experience till tonight 1/5/2019 around 5:30 pm. We ordered a barb-q bologna sandwich and 2 cheese burgers. When we got our order it was 2 cheese burgers and a barb-q sandwich. We took the barb-q sandwich back to the counter and explained the mistake. Instead of an apology for the mistake the girl argued with me saying that was what I ordered, and besides they were out of bologna. We will keep doing business here because the food is great and the service was good until tonight . It.s unfortunate that a business owner has to pay the price for lazy employees, maybe the ring in her nose was causing some kind of brain damage.
