We were looking for a full home renovation, and during the initial site visit, Billy took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and walked us through major choices, such as whether to keep the same footprint or expand the home. Throughout the process, he also presented the many smaller decisions, such as flooring, tiles, and cabinetry, in a way that made each decision more digestible. Once walls, plumbing, and the roof were opened up, there were some unforeseen discoveries that pushed our cost above the initial estimate. Billy had warned us this might happen initially, and we appreciated his transparency about each issue as it came up. One of the things that stood out the most was the honest and frequent communication throughout the entire process. Billy works closely with a number of trusted tradesmen across different specialties, which we believe helped keep the project moving efficiently. Floor Install Systems deserves less than one star. Their workmanship looks worse than a DIY gone…read morewrong. They caught my stovetop on fire, broke the wood under both sets of cabinets, damaged all of the appliances, damaged the subfloor, sawed their materials in my living room and they had no precautions set up to protect my home from all of the debris they created. They didn't even bring a shop vac. All of my appliances were left unprotected during demo and are caked in tile debris. My sofa, pillows and blankets are all covered in saw dust and the air quality was so poor Servpro had to come in and put air scrubbers in the house. Who would have thought a simple floor job would cause this much damage and cause me to have to relocate . Unskilled, laborers are not worth the $ you saved to hire them. Floor Install Systems is taking no responsibility for the damage they have created and lied to the insurance company telling them that they agreed to fix it for me. That never happened, maybe you promised that to another mistake you made but it wasn't a conversation that we had. In addition, I had removed everything possible from the room, all they had to do was move the appliances but according to Jack it was my job to move those too (even though there is a charge in the invoice for the appliances). He would know that the rooms were empty IF he'd bothered to come look at the jobsite the following morning when I asked. Instead he kept putting me off until LL Flooring said they would take the info from me for him. Consumers beware, they also work for LL Flooring. The pics do not do the damage justice.

I hired Munz Roofing and Siding to complete a siding project, and I could not be happier with the entire experience. From the start, their consultant, Stephen M., came out and provided helpful education, a thorough walkthrough, zero pressure, and a timely quote for several different product options. Munz ultimately provided the best quote among the three local companies that came out. Eric G., their general manager, also came out to review the plan and clearly outlined the steps they would take to protect our garden beds during the siding removal and installation. That level of communication and attention to detail gave us a lot of confidence going into the project. Project Manager Chris and installer Oleg then completed the project in 9.5 days, which was even half a day ahead of their original 10-day estimate. Chris checked in every day to see if we had any questions or concerns, and Oleg's work was outstanding. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch, and he spent at least a half hour cleaning up every day before leaving. One thing that really stood out was that Oleg took the time to point out how well the previous siding job had been done when the house was built about 40 years ago. He noted that the original wrapping had been applied with meticulous precision, which helped explain why there was minimal water damage to the existing boards. That honesty was appreciated, especially because there was never a moment where the crew attempted to upsell us on unnecessary work. Overall, Munz was professional, honest, communicative, and highly skilled from start to finish. I could not recommend this company enough. My parents hired a different contractor at first and ended up getting fired after 2 days on the job. We should have went with Munz from the beginning. They fixed everything the other group messed up and then completed the job that was intended. My parents had their cedar shake siding replaced with Hardie siding and their house looks brand new! Freddy, Dastan, and Talay were a great team. They worked so hard every day they were here and were meticulous in their work. They were so helpful with other things as well. A few times they would see me trying to lift something heavy and one of them came right over and said let me get that for you. Freddy was such a sweet guy in charge and if you ever needed anything you could always just give him a call. The guys cleaned up every day after they worked even when it started to rain on them which happened a few times. These guys were the best and we are so happy with the work they did.
