I would not recommend based on how the owner treated me. First the owner insisted I pay with cash or Venmo when it states on the website charge and check payments accepted. In hindsight I was overcharged for the job. The worst part is that the owner called me several times harassing me, calling me a liar and that he should have never trusted you people. I wasn't clear why the owner was saying such things. The job was halfway done and needed a final coat. The owner however would not let me speak to get clarification. After several harassing calls the owner discovered that he confused me with another customer. My floors look nice and the guys who worked them were professional. I paid in full but would NEVER use this company again. read more

Tran is reliable, schedules and completes the jobs on time, very reasonably priced, and above all, goes above and beyond in giving his detail touches to the final product. I appreciate restoring the old pine floors and bringing the natural beauty of the original wood, and Tran and his team are the go-to team to taking these challenges, and every time this guy delivers! I have floors in such bad shape and seem unsalvageable, but Tran put his magic and brought the floors back to life! I needed my floor repaired. I called Tran to come out for an estimate. He told me to text him my address. I did but didn't receive a reply. I called him again two weeks later. He told me to text him my address again and we had settled for him to come on a Sunday. We had not specified the time and I had texted him asking when he wanted to come. No answer until the day of. Come around the time he was supposed to come, no show but called to reschedule for the next day. Fine. Next day comes, I called asking if he was coming as it was past the time he said. He asked to reschedule again to the following day. I asked him if he was just too busy. He said no no I'll do it for you no problem. The next day comes, NO SHOW. I didn't even bother calling him again. This was very unprofessional and a waste of time. read more

Tran is hands down the most unprofessional person I've ever hired. Tran promised us to paint our deck, the top & sides & railings and replace the boards that needed to be replaced. when he came out to do the job he said he never told us he would paint everything, he said he is only painting the top part of the deck. After going back and forth with him on the day of the job he was extremely rude and told me "this is why I don't deal with women", he quickly became agitated and aggressive yelling at both me and my boyfriend (who was on the phone at the time). We had already given him the cash so we pretty much had no choice. Tran told us he replaced all the damaged boards when in reality he only replaces 2 boards and did a very CRAPPY and HORRIBLE job painting the top deck. For the amount of money we paid, the extreme un-professionalism, and horrifying results - this experience was like no other. One of the board Tran says he replaced completely gave out the other day injuring one of my family members. When we brought this to trans attention he called us liars. Worst business man in history - I know it sounds dramatic but I can promise you it's 100% accurate NEVER USE THIS COMPANY !!!! read more

Tran was referred to me by a friend--who is a contractor and electrician. I had high hopes, and the price was good. He refinished about 1000 sq ft of old, pine subfloor in a house I recently purchased. Unfortunately, it was a pretty negative experience all around. He no-showed for the initial appointment and did not call. His workers did not stain the new boards that they installed to match the original flooring, so I literally had large sections of flooring on a completely different color spectrum. Additionally, floorboards that needed to be secured were not secured. Tran saw their work and was not happy with it, so after two weeks of changing schedules and missed appointments, folks finally showed up. They did a poor job, did not use wood filler where needed and all in all the floors came out just ok, with lots of corners cut... It was a cheap price for the condition of the floors. (About 3 a sq foot) however, I thought the end result and hassle was not worth the couple hundred dollars I saved. Could have just been the crew, I don't know. But I would not recommend this company, and I absolutely hate writing a bad review about a family owned business. read more

I called to get an appointment for an estimate, no answer...he called me right back. He said text me the address, I did and asked him when he would come. The next day he texted can he come tomorrow. I asked what time, no response all day until the evening, I got a call. Back and forth about time . I said in the morning he said about 830 I said fine. Next day no show, got a call before noon, can he come Saturday? Ok Saturday...got a text on Saturday...something came up. Can I come on Sunday? Really? We had 3 bedroom floors, a staircase, and an upstairs hallway refinished and protected. We had the entire first floor buffed and freshly polyurethaned. In one bedroom, several sections of floor boards needed replacement due to discoloration. We were immediately very happy with all the refinishing and repair work upstairs. The downstairs areas, however, had several sections where the coating was clearly missing or simply had been absorbed by the grain of the wood. It was obvious that a second coat was necessary, at least in these sections. We discussed this with Tran and he delegated the follow-up work to his son, Victor, who also has his own floor refinishing business. Victor was prompt in scheduling and completing the job and we are now very satisfied with the finish on all our floors. read more

Although I used this company in the past, this time it did not work out for us. He changed appointments for an estimate three times. Finally showed up and we scheduled a start date of today. I asked him if he could come on Friday since we were going to be at the shore but he insisted it had to be Thursday. We cut our vacation short and today he did not show up! I called an hour and a half after his due time and he said, "Don't worry, I'll be there tomorrow." I cancelled our deposit check and am looking for another contractor. read more

I had Tran and his crew out to my home on December 27, 2016 to restore my first floor hardwood floors and stair case. Upon closer inspection, I realized that a 3" by 4" swatch of wood was not stained. I brought this to Tran's attention and he assured me that this could be easily remedied. It is now 2 months later and the problem has not been addressed. I received every excuse under the sun; from 4 missed appointments, illness and his Chinese New Year were some of the excuses given for his no shows. At this juncture, I have given up on him coming back - hence my rating of 2 stars. Because of Tran's utter disregard for my TIME and MONEY, I feel this is an appropriate rating. read more
