They told me to bring it to them in 30 days as they were busy. I knew the previous owners and they were just purchased by Kaizen and it shows. When I dropped off my car to be repaired after waiting 30 days, they told me the quote doubled. I quickly picked up my car so they couldn't charge me for having it on their lot. He had it for nearly 2 hours before calling me to tell me he couldn't do anything to adjust the brakes unless he tore the whole thing open, which would've cost me $1400. I told him I'd look elsewhere. They held onto my car for nearly another hour to just put the tire back on! When I got there, they said they cleaned the drums and pads and everything, which I didn't ask them to, and then he charged me for that work. Dude's shop is a scam. I took it elsewhere and they took 25 min, didn't have to take anything off the car, and it works like a charm now.

And for those of you that are looking for low cost as well as quality, my final price was the minimum amount Sean quoted me during my first visit with him. After picking up the vehicle and paying under $4000 and the warranty company also paid their portion under $900. The truck drove worse and continued to leak. My husband contacted Troy and we were to bring the truck back and he would have it repaired. I have several emails with conversations to support this issue. The warranty company contacted Troy and requested more information and photos, a week later he provided it to them. After receiving the information from Troy, photos etc, the warranty company decided to send out their own inspectors to check this vehicle and found huge inconsistencies. I will add that the timeline from Troy was off by a week. I have the proof for that as well. I picked up the truck. It did not drive well at all. I'm lucky I got it home which I live very close. I sent several emails requesting a refund as well as my meeting with Troy so that I could get it repaired elsewhere. I never received a response until a phone call from the general manager Austin. He was extremely angry and the conversation didn't go well I felt very intimidated. I attempted to get help through other resources and had other mechanics and lawyers view the statements and they did find that the statements were ridiculous for labor, etc. I finally had enough and called Austin and told him I don't want to fight anymore and if you feel that this company did the right thing then they live with that, no legal action as I wanted to which would allow them to speak with Tom Martino but they declined, they had the opportunity to share their side. I most recently received a voicemail from Austin and returned his call, he told me they would be happy to see me in small claims court, granted this is after I told him I'm finished fighting with him. I emailed and requested their attorneys information and have not received it as of today. He had the nerve to ask if I had the truck repaired, I found that very sarcastic. It doesn't matter that my husband is in the Middle East deployed through next year or that there is a government shut down or that I'm not a mechanic. I was trying to get them to do the right thing and they did not. I am not looking for pity. I am looking for justice and I did not get it. I do not recommend Lake Arbor Automotive to anyone. I'm sure people may have had better experiences with this company however I did not. Be cautious with this company.

I cannot say enough good things about RPM Automotive! The guys at the shop are beyond polite, professional and knowledgeable. I felt they truly cared about me and the problems my vehicle was having. Within a few hours they not only diagnosed the problem I was having with the brakes, but they also told me my request for new rear-brakes was not necessary. They could have changed the brakes in the rear and made some extra money, but instead they chose the high-road. Another example of how awesome they are, there was a loud noise in my Toyota Highlander...the guys at the local big-chain Tire Shop took a test drive with me and told me it was bad tire noise. They quoted me some tires ($900+) but instead of just getting them I thought I would ask the guys at RPM what they thought, after a very short 2 minute test drive, Levi told me I had a bad rear-right wheel bearing...a few hours later the noise is gone and I saved a bunch of money. I love the feeling of leaving the shop and not thinking I was just ripped off. If you're having vehicle problems, give these guys a shot...you won't be disappointed!

I saved more than $600 going elsewhere to get my breaks fixed. I also learned I was not in nearly as much danger and I was led to believe. The amount of fear and pressure this place put on me by this place was absolutely ridiculous and they should be ashamed of themselves. Save yourself money and DO NOT this trust fine tune auto. They lie to get more money and scare people into thinking their cars are in worst shape than they actually are. What they tried to convince me was a $1200 was a little over $500 in reality and was not an immediate of a need as I had thought. My back breaks needed replacing, my front breaks were not great but they weren't at 1mm like they told me either.
