I've taken my Subaru to the same mechanic for years, but recently the level of service has dropped, so I decided to find a new mechanic and gave RPM Automotive a try. I cannot say enough good things about RPM Automotive! The guys at the shop are beyond polite, professional and knowledgeable. I felt they truly cared about me and the problems my vehicle was having. Within a few hours they not only diagnosed the problem I was having with the brakes, but they also told me my request for new rear-brakes was not necessary. They could have changed the brakes in the rear and made some extra money, but instead they chose the high-road. Another example of how awesome they are, there was a loud noise in my Toyota Highlander...the guys at the local big-chain Tire Shop took a test drive with me and told me it was bad tire noise. They quoted me some tires ($900+) but instead of just getting them I thought I would ask the guys at RPM what they thought, after a very short 2 minute test drive, Levi told me I had a bad rear-right wheel bearing...a few hours later the noise is gone and I saved a bunch of money. I love the feeling of leaving the shop and not thinking I was just ripped off. If you're having vehicle problems, give these guys a shot...you won't be disappointed! read more

Not very impressed with their workmanship or attitude when bringing problems too their attention. I recently had this shop pick up my old car and get the brakes in order. Upon arriving at the shop it was learned the fuel tank would need to be replaced. I sent them a brand new tank and sending unit. More on this later.... They also got my brakes working and discovered a bad condenser in the new distributor that was on the car. More on this later.......... Additionally, they adjusted the carb and discovered I had put in a second check ball in the carb during rebuild but the car still ran. More on this later. Anyway, after driving the car for a day, I had to check the timing because the idle was all over the map. I found that they had not bothered to secure the distributor cap to the distributor. I had to retime the engine myself. I also had to re-adjust the carburetor so it didn't die on acceleration. Also, they didn't bother to inspect the brake booster when they installed the master cylinder I purchased for them. If they had, they would have seen the brake fluid in the booster, which as also bad. I ended up replacing that myself too. Lastly, when I called them to tell them my gas tank was leaking they laughed and said it wasn't leaking when it left. I did pay them to stop the tank from leaking and bought a new tank. Perhaps that was because they didn't put much gas in it when they put in the new tank. When I put a full tank in it, it leaks quite a lot. They said I could bring it by but they didn't know when they could get to it. I couldn't trust them to work on it anymore. Do yourself a favor, find another shop. read more

So far I'm impressed with the work that was done on my car (2003 Camry LE) with 200500k miles. Keep in mind you don't know me but I love my car since I bought it with only 31 miles back in 03. Just had them do a transmission flush and power steering. Less then a half a mile I can easily feel the difference. Only time will tell but I have a good feeling as they were referred to me by someone I hold to be just as OCD as I am. Thanks Levi and Nick really appreciate the service and tour. My 2005 Volvo SUV yesterday very unexpectedly stopped steering - completely - while I was driving ... It was a total freak show to get it into a parking space to get off the main road. While I was waiting for the tow truck, I called around and was recommended to tow it to RPM Automotive. I read the superb google reviews and decided it was worth the risk. These guys ARE as good as people say they are! They fixed the exact problem with which I brought the car in. NO ATTEMPT TO UP SELL me in any way!!! Charged me a very REASONABLE amount. We started taking my daughter's car to RPM a few years ago and due to their constant, fair, honest, and caring service, we have switched all 4 of our vehicles over to them (Honda, BMW, Nissan, & Expedition). These guys go above and beyond to repair our vehicles with honest, fair prices. We have lots of "car guys" in our family-my Dad has been building and showing cars, and in a car club, for the last 55-60 years and he is the one who recommended Levi and Nick to us. Not only have Nick and Levi fixed our cars the right way the first time, they have ALWAYS come in at, or below their estimate (not an experience we've had with local dealerships and/or repair shops). There have been a few times now where there was a small leak on one of our cars, or a funny noise, or a "check engine" light on, where either Levi or Nick have said, just stop by and let us look at it. They have come out to the parking lot, diagnosed, and sometimes even quickly fixed a minor issue and then won't allow us to pay them anything. Who does that these days?!!! They truly have our business for as long as we own vehicles! It's hard to find an honest business these days that charges fair prices and give exemplary customer service...you will certainly find that at RPM Automotive! read more
