Today we were searching the isles for perennial herbs, like lemon balm. Ahmeia (spelling) came over to offer guidance. She walked us to the correct section, with both raw and extract options. She checked for each item on our list, showing us available options. We really appreciated the extra time she took to identify the opportunity to assist us, along with how thorough she was. We purchased several of the extracts, along with a couple of the raw herbs. Great place for organic well raised meat, organic pasture raised eggs from local resources, and of course produce and much more.

They offer organic milk and dairy at a pretty reasonable price for organic dairy. There's a bulk section where you can grind fresh peanut butter. A small container of already ground peanut butter is about $3. They offer a station to refill your blue giant water dispenser bottle with delicious tasting water. They have house blend cup of coffee for customers with creamer or milk. What a nice touch! They also have a hot bar for a healthy meal to go. It's worth stopping by! Check out the small lending library it has free books. It's located right as your enter the doors.

I love the vegan Neapolitan cupcakes from Rubicon bakers, for example--not only is the frosting delicious these chocolatey small cakes have a filling which reminds me of the (not as healthy) classic Hostess cupcakes. The eggless egg salad wraps from the deli are also good. Other favorite products are the almond chocolate pudding and the Virginia honey roasted peanuts. I don't do my regular shopping here but love to stop in when I'm in the downtown Rockville area. There is a convenient parking lot and garage spaces dedicated to the store, always a plus. There is a small salad bar which looked well-maintained when I was last there (but did not try) and a coffee and juice bar (the latter I've only found so-so--my açaí bowl from a visit months ago wasn't good, but I've heard the chai is tasty). I think there are wine and cheese events also held at the coffee bar seating area. I love the small book section although I've not browsed there yet, The only thing I've found not consistently great is service at the cash register. Mostly the cashiers have been friendly but occasionally we'll get the few who don't seem to want to be there... Recommended for a visit at least once...!

I came to look for a particular product, which they had in stock - yay! The aisles were easily to navigate through, and I would love to spend a little bit more time to peruse through their items on the next visit! They have a surface and covered lot available for patrons, so just look for the specific signs. Check their site as they host classes, catering options, as well as updates on the features on their hot bars. +friendly service +free parking for patrons

Not very Common for a market!!…read more Everything here is exceptional. I love all the fruit, I literally just ate a peach and was so compelled to write about it. The staff, while is mostly comprised of college age hippies are knowledgeable and actually care. The whole store is very clean and the meat counter while very small screams old school home made!! The sausages looked so good I had to buy some, and after cooking them up with some onions and peppers my neighbors above me who are vegans were peeking as they chewed their grass and had to rethink their decisions on eating food that my food eats. There are fresh made sandwiches that they will press for you and give it that grilled awesomeness that only comes when your doing something special with meat and cheese and good bread pressed with 400 degrees of steel resulting in a sandwich that makes you want to light a subway franchise on fire. Now on my most recent trip, covid is rampantly knocking off people so a lot of the fun stuff has been put away. Normally they have fresh cooked food that you can box up hot and take and eat. The selection ranges from American favorites like loaf of meat and spaghetti to Indian food to soups and salads ( spinach salad is good, the dressing makes it the bomb dot com ) and fresh cookies and breads oh my. ( Public Notice: no lions or tigers ) You will spend more money per item here than Walmart. They don't have as good of a selection as Wegman's. They don't have a coupon app thingy that makes you think your saving money like everyone else. But you will feel like your saving baby seals and once you leave and start to load stuff into your vehicle a rabbit will wink at you in a attempt to say thank you. The lesson here is pay more money for food that tastes like food and not canned crap. Yes, we all like to save money, and that's noble. But there is a time to eat your extra long chili cheese coney ( much love sonic ) and there is a time to bite into a peach and feel like your a little kid again and have wonderful sweet juice roll off your chin and life is once again, is worth living. Stay hungry my friends, - JW

I think this location is a little bit smaller than the one on 7th Street in Frederick. The selection is still great, lots of organic and vegetarian options, I love the juice selection! Lots of juices with 1 or 2 ingredients. I like getting snacks here for my daughter's lunch because they're not filled with junk. It is definitely more expensive than other grocery stores, but they have so many healthy options.

I have shopped at this Whole Foods in the past and was looking forward to some premium fruits and an excellent salad bar. But, I was severely disappointed. The store was lacking in their deli and salad bar sections. There was no havarti cheese without dill. The turkey breast had some discoloration. The person working there assured me it was just from the air, but who wants to buy deli, that has some green tinges. : 0 The salad bar looked like it had not been refilled in days. The hummus, much like the turkey had some discoloration. I didn't take any chances on the salad bar. But, on to the good news. They did have plums and nectarines, but you are paying a premium price. The checkout attendant was very sweet and helpful. She even held my order, when I ran out to my car, to get my phone. I needed to scan the Prime code marker. The bakery had scrumptious baked goods. I treated myself to a bagel and a sugar cookie. I also picked up a loaf of bread, which was delicious. The store needs a lot of attention in the deli and salad bar areas. But, the fruit and vegetable area was pristine and well stocked. I don't know what happened to this store. I hope this Whole Foods Market makes some much needed changes.
