This is my favorite thing at Dawsons!!! They even have spicy injera crisps and mild lentil dips...you can mix and match and try them all!!!

This is honestly the only store I have gone into during these times - it is the only grocery store I trust. I know that they are cleaning everything often and their shelves are always stocked and if you don't want to shop for yourself, they have people dedicated to shop for you. You place your order and they will bring it to your car!!! They have completely transformed their indoor seating area into a staging area for their deliveries and pickups...it is quite impressive! But honestly they have taken every precaution you could imagine. Tape on the floor at the registers to separate you from the cashiers. Lines on the floor to help you navigate that 6 feet. They have pride foods still in the hot bar area but they are prepackaged now so you can walk in, get your meal, and be on your way. And don't forget they have wine and beer and cider and hard seltzer!!! They have everything and if you haven't tried the injera crisps and lentil dip...you are missing out on living your best life!!! Just saying!!!

Dawson's Market is a unique place: grocery store with outdoor seating for beer and wine tasting. Dog friendly. They have pizzas and simple food. Nice spot to hang out near Dupont Circle.

Takes cash and credit card and mobile payment (Apple / Samsung Pay). Located in Rockville Town Center. The interior of the store is very clean and serves drinks, hot / cold food bar, grocery items and flowers. The staff here are very nice and welcoming. If you are looking for an organic grocery store, then look no further. Parking might be tough especially during peak hours. However, most times you should be able to find parking for this grocery store.

I like this place in a Whole Foods-kind of way. Great to discover new snacks. However their paper bags smell like poop literally, so bring your own. Also I found a bug in an apple pie slice.

First time coming to this market, as I just moved to the area. This is a fantastic shop- it's crunchy and fancy. The shopping vibe is peaceful. Beautiful selection of produce and tons of veggie options. I got a vegan carrot cake for the holiday and it was the best cake I've ever eaten in my entire life! It was truly magnificent. Can't wait to come back.

Second time shopping in Dawson & i really like this store. The customer service it so helpful & accommodating i found this mineral water. I have seen people purchase this kind so I'm glad to have purchased it myself. If you don't want to drink sodas this is a great way to get that soda feel highly recommended

Nice Market. Reminded me of Whole Foods but on a smaller scale. I appreciate that everything is neat and organized in the store, makes it easier to find things. Restrooms are in the back and could be a bit cleaner. There was live music inside the market when we visited. It was very nice and made walking around that much more enjoyable. Everything in here is on the pricier side but they do offer unique and quality items. Glad we got a chance to visit.

On the TV above Customer Service, there was a coupon for $25 off your first order of $50 as an Amazon Prime member. I scanned it and successfully added it to my Amazon account. See the Tips at the bottom for more info on how to Return items. The store is smaller with the aisles more narrow than normal. With the people shopping for others with their big carts and restockers, it took some maneuvers to get down the aisles. The produce looked fresh enough and shelves were stocked on a Thursday evening at 5:30 pm. On Jan 22, I picked up on sale eggs with a sell by date of Jan 29 and regular price guacamole with Feb 8. I look at dates for the first and items farther back, and it seemed that those were the longest dates I could get, so sell by dates seemed to allow less time than some other stores. I picked up mostly items from the shelves that I tried to find on sale. I noticed a smaller selection of brands in the toilet paper and other areas. Example of price differences: Idahoan instant mashed potatoes 4 oz - $1.00 at Amazon Fresh; $1.89 Giant; $1.27 Walmart. 8 oz for $2.50 Amazon Fresh, $3.69 Giant, $2.82 Walmart - yes, it was .50 cheaper to buy two 4 oz bags at Amazon Fresh. With it being a small store, the long line for self check-out with the staffed checkout line was one. I almost walked out and left my cart due the number of people in line and needing to be somewhere else in 15 minutes, but most seemed to migrate to self checkout, and another staffed checkout line was opened, so I was able to buy my groceries in time. For my three bags of groceries, it came to about $75, but I got $11 off - so $64 which was about $20 - $30 less than when I buy three bags of groceries at Giant. I entered my phone number which got me the sale price but I was NOT able to get the $25 off the $50 first order, since I didn't have time to download, install, and login into the Amazon app at checkout. I didn't have my Amazon card with me, I thought there would be some QR wallet code within the Amazon website somewhere but NO. Tips: 1. Install and login to the Amazon app BEFORE you come. 2. If it is your first time shopping, go to Customer Service and wait and see if there is a coupon on the TV screen that you can take a picture of for additional savings. 3. You can look up the store and see the in-store deals. 4. Bring your Amazon credit card just in case. 5. Amazon Prime members, get $10 off their first Amazon Fresh store purchase of $50+. After that, they get $10 off every monthly on a $100+ purchase only in the stores. YOu need to clip the virtual coupon on the Amazon Fresh site, and it expires. 6. When you enter, the Return area is at Customer Service to the right. It can get crowded with people coming to get their groceries and carts getting wheeled out while you are standing in the line. There is a self serve kiosk where you scan your return QR code against the small screen below. I wasn't able to get it to scan and got help. A label prints from below. If you don't have a bag, there are bags to put your item in then affix the label. A large mailbox style drawer opens to put your package inside, then locks after you close it. Overall, the produce and shelves were stocked fine for me to pick up the staples I wanted and better prices than other grocery stores. Dodging around the big carts with the shoppers who were shopping for others and other shoppers even not crowded made it less enjoyable but for the savings on staples, I might come back periodically and even try the Dash cart next time.

Good thing I accidentally went down the ice cream aisle. I swear it wasn't on purpose! Ended up with some burbon truffle ice cream and some whiskey chocolate ice cream too from Haggan Daaz. The store seemed very clean, the store wasn't crowded ( for some reason this store never is), and the plexi glass in between you and cashier was a nice little added layer of security. The produce I ended up getting was really great actually. The broccoli is great quality, I got collard greens ( the bunches were huge), and I also got some clementines and grapefruit which were both sweet and tart. Solid quality on the veg. Definitely might quarantine shop here again. Solid choice.

The rum buns are more nostalgia more than anything, I wouldn't say they'll blow your socks off, but hey, nostalgia is nostalgia. Well, I'll need to dine in here for a full and complete verdict, but my quick grab and go visit was a tad chaotic. Service for taking orders could improve - you walk in, there's a seafood counter to your left, bakery counter to your right (both were unmanned when I walked in) and in the middle is a deli section with the cash register where I assume they take orders. We stood there for a few good minutes before getting anyone's attention despite the fact a manager asking staff (not customers) if everyone was being helped. Clearly staff did not know who was waiting to check out, take orders or just waiting for their orders to arrive. So it was just weird. No one greeting you as you walk in either, it just also weird because there's no clear line anywhere you stand. Otherwise, rum buns were as I remembered them. Also picked up crab dip and chicken salad from the grab and go section from the back and they were just ok, not bad, not great. I am part Russian and occasionally crave pierogi (vareniki); Wegmans is one of very few stores that sell fresh refrigerated pierogi (these are much better than the frozen ones). The last few times I instacarted these, I put them in my fridge and a few days later, after opening, I noticed they were moldy. One time I even put them directly in the freezer, and when I opened them they were moldy. I kind of gaslit myself and figured it was my fault for waiting too long to cook them. Well, yesterday I went to Wegmans in person and saw stocked moldy pierogis!! I mean several of the packages had visible mold. I cannot believe Wegmans is selling these, and clearly this is an ongoing issue for months. This really makes me question buying fresh food from Wegmans, given this wasn't a one off. Hopefully this is just limited to the pierogis, which is a specialty product that I assume doesn't have high turnover. Nonetheless buyer beware!! Wegmans, please fix!
