I would recomend Jim's for any and all wheel/suspension services. My truck is a Ram crew cab with long bed. It also had a recall "fix" from Mopar that changed the way it has to be aligned. The dozen or so dealerships/shops I talked to, before finding Jim's, either didn't have a rack big enough for the truck or couldn't align it due to the "fix". I dropped my truck off after scheduling an appointment the day before for it to sit in one spot and not move for 4 hours only to be told I could t get an alignment because of my tires. the front tires in question are smooth across the top, they are scared of them because they are "big bad mud tires" last I checked 35s aren't big anymore as lots of trucks come from the factory with them. I spoke with a mechanic who laughed at me before I could finish my questions... (rude) and then tried to sell me a set of tires when only 2 are needed because my idiotic self did a burnout on the rears. Lack of communication and integrity. The clerk has my contact information and never called to inform me that my alignment couldn't be completed due to a worn tire. She lied and said they had customers but I was sitting outside the entire time and saw why came in and what didn't. This company is racist. In Baton Rouge doing inspections for FEMA when I encountered front end issues on my 05 Lexus. I've always been skeptical of mechanics and the way they operate (especially dealerships). Being from out-of-town and needing my vehicle to complete work I always feel like a mechanic has me by the short hairs whenever I need repairs. I did a Google search and decided to give Jim's a try. I called Jim's on Thursday and couldn't get an appointment until Monday which was disappointing but c'est la vie. Arriving for my appointment 5 minutes late they had the diagnosis complete within 30 minutes. I needed a new CV axle and tire and they recommended replacing all of the tires. Long story short...I drove out of the lot 4 hours later in a car that drove "like new" again. I *might* have saved a couple of bucks looking for sale tires somewhere else but otherwise felt that I received completely HONEST work at an HONEST price. Went to Jim's for a front end alignment. They suggested I get new tires. They tried to sell me a set of 4 overpriced tires. I got the alignment done, and a week later I bought 4 new tires. 4 months later, I noticed a funny sound from the front of my car. I did a through inspection, and found that the inside of the drivers side, and outside of the passenger side tires were worn to the thread. Called jim's for a refund of the price of the alignment, since it was not done correctly, and they refused. I had to go to another shop to get an alignment since Jim's was on vacation. So, I am out of the price of the alignment, 2 new tires (150/ea). Jim's might have been a good place to go at one time, but if you want to waste your money, continue to have them service your automobile. read more

Went to Jim's for a front end alignment. Spoke 3 times on phone about price and appointment. They never said anything about a $25 up front fee, even if they refused to do the work. They refused to do my alignment because they said 3 of my 4 tires were bad. The front desk girl started going into her sales spill and I cut her off. Told her I just wanted the alignment done. She said it may slip out in a week. I told her that was fine. The 2 front tires were just put on last week. Sorry if I can't afford your expensive tires right now Jim. When I do get tires and alignment done it won't be with you. Oh and a suit at the counter tried to psycho analyze my frustration. read more

I went to Jim's for a wheel alignment I had an appointment for 10:30 AM so I thought that's what my reminder said in my phone but when I got there they told me it was at 10o'clock which I was OK with it. I'm human they human I don't know if the mistake was on my part or their's I really don't care the thing that upset me the most is the poor customer service that I received while I was there first of all I wasn't greeted as a customer but once the young lady told me about the Discrepancy with the times I told her ok she ask the owner and he just said no !!! He didn't try to offer to do the job another day which I would have been ok with it was that I was desperate I just do an alignment ever so often to make sure I'm good I could have easily went elsewhere to get this done I just think they could have made me felt like they would have appreciated my business after I had waited a week for this appointment this is definitely not how to treat a potential paying customer I would hope that in the future they would handle things differently customer service means everything to me which I feel like after leaving there if I was of a different race would I be posting a different comment read more
