Our waitress was patient and able to score us a booster seat for the one toddler. It's a brunch place with lots of options, including some swanky juices and smoothies. I got the seasonal Tangerine Dream which was like a delightful creamsicle - would get again. The kiddos destroyed their pancakes and eggs (Child #1 has never met a fried egg he didn't love). I enjoyed the Farmhouse Hash, which seemed like a safe bet and it didn't disappoint. Maybe next time I'll try the Market Hash, which is a little more vegetable-forward and less potato-focused. This was a good mid-point to meet some friends and I'm not in Hunt Valley often, but I would definitely come back.

The menu is absolutely enormous and the interior lacks character and charm with uncomfortable bench seating and scarce decor. I opted for an omelette which came with pepper jack cheese, bacon, pico de gallo, and a dollop of sour cream. The description was unclear about whether it came with home fries and bread or the option of either home fries or bread. When I asked our server about this, he gave me a mixed response and seemed confused himself. I told him IF it comes with bread, I'll need the gluten free option which ended up being pretty good. My boyfriend got the blueberry pancake which he seemed to love. He also got a side of their "million dollar bacon" and "the works" omelette. There was some more confusion from our server who thought he wanted to sub the bacon in the omelette for the million dollar bacon but he ended up asking for our clarification before any mistakes were made. My omelette came out first and it was dry and overcooked. Definitely not a fluffy omelette and the half a spoonful of sour cream wasn't helping. The home fries were SO salty and that's coming from someone who has a savory palate. I couldn't finish them. My boyfriend's omelete came out and was a lighter, different color and looked a lot fluffier which makes me think mine was kept on the skillet too long. The million dollar bacon was just bacon covered in maple syrup. It was so disappointing and definitely not worth the almost $7 for 4 pieces. We had to chase our server down for our check in the end. Our meal ended up being over $50 for the two of us. Considering the quality of the food and service, I wouldn't say it was worth it. This is the kind of place that pretends its "farm fresh" but really is the same quality as IHOP at a slightly more expensive price.

So now they close at 4pm everyday like a lot of other brunch places. I got the breakfast tacos and they were very fulfilling and probably the best budget price item on the menu. The place is so big and spacious, I love how clean it is to inside. The restrooms are well kept also. The only reason I'm giving them 4/5 is because the service took forever. To sit down took a while, to get our drinks took a while, to get our food took a while. Everything was a wait and we didn't even come at prime time. We got there at like 3pm lol. All of the service was great and everyone was nice, my family and I were just hungry and ready to eat. Personally, I like the other locations a little bit better especially Columbia location, but I'd still highly recommend here for brunch.

During my recent trip back to Baltimore, my friends and I made reservations for four on a Saturday night. I'll admit, I was convinced my GPS had failed me when it led me into a business park. Just when I was ready to question my phone's navigation , BlueStone appeared like a hidden gem. The restaurant was large and looked upscale from the outside with plenty of free parking, making the first impression even better. We were seated immediately, and the hostess greeted us with a genuine smile that made us feel right at home. The ambiance is warm and inviting with a perfect blend of casual elegance. There are several dining spaces throughout the restaurant, including private rooms that would be ideal for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, or other special occasions. Our server was attentive without hovering and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our evening. We kicked things off with cocktails, including a French 75, White Cosmo, and Blackberry Bandit. Every drink was expertly crafted, but the French 75 was the undeniable star of the night, I enjoyed it so much I ordered a second. When it came to dinner, my friends all chose the crab cake entrée and they all enjoyed their food ( they are locals), proving that Bluestone knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to a well made crab cake. I ordered the Ocean & Gulf entrée. My dish included a jumbo lump crab cake, deep-sea scallops, and Gulf shrimp served over forbidden black rice with sautéed vegetables in a honey garlic beurre blanc. Every component was cooked perfectly, and the flavors blended together so well that each bite felt like a little celebration. It was one of those meals where the conversation pauses because everyone is too busy enjoying the food. As if dinner wasn't enough, we finished with Taharka Brothers Honey Graham and Vanilla Bean ice cream. It was creamy, rich, and the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. BlueStone exceeded my expectations from the moment I pulled into the parking lot until the last spoonful of dessert. Great service, good prices, decent portions and expertly prepared food and cocktails. Definitely an atmosphere that's perfect for everything from date night, a family celebration, to a girls' night out. This has officially earned a spot on my list of must visit restaurants every time I come back to Baltimore.

It was busy because of the holiday but Bluestone has a lot of seating. I asked the 3 girls at the front for a table with good lighting. The hostess didn't hesitate and we were seated immediately. There was a Fathers Day special of 2 separate entrees . Our Server Jake told us the Steak was sold out . That's pretty good for them. Sounds like I should try the steak another day if they have it. I wanted a small plate and Jake gave me 3 recommendations: BANG bang shrimp, mini crab cakes, & Crab Spinach dip. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and the beet salad. This was another "live in the moment" dinner for me. I am deciding to be more deliberate about enjoying my food and not taking as many pics. Everyone on Yelp has the same pics of the same food. The beet salad was so good. Very appealing plate. The Bang Bang Shrimp were swimming in sauce but still tasty. I really wanted to try a new red wine Jake recommendations were : JEZEBEL & Alta Pavina. I chose the Alta Pavina (a high alcohol content you may only need 1). I wasn't feeling like a Jezebel on Sunday and decided to wait for a Friday night for that red wine.

When I went today to order my coffee, the gal at the register looked at me like "-_-." I was like "How does this voucher work?" No response. "Should I just order one item or combo?" "Uh...I could do a combo....." She clearly had no idea what I was asking. In the past, whenever I had a voucher, it would state what it was good for. For instance, "Voucher good at buffets at the _____ restaurant or for a beverage and baked good at __________." I ended up getting a Venti Cafe Latte and a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich ($10.45 value). I guess that was okay right? I think of it this way. If this voucher holds no cash value, but I used it to cover breakfast the day before worth $22, I am sure it was no big deal to get a breakfast worth less. There is no specified what I could get with this. She even asked if I wanted to get anything else. Should I assume that if I really wanted to abuse this voucher, I could have ordered like 6 items? Suggestion: Please have staff who have knowledge of what the voucher can be used for within this quick service place.

As a fan of Breakfast Food, Iron Rooster doesn't disappoint. No matter what my requests are, they accommodate me. It's one of the few places that consistently gets the eggs right! They also accommodate me by adding their Honey Old Bay sauce to my chicken (it was on the menu at one time, is no longer displayed, but still available). I normally get a seat at the bar at there's always some sport event they're showing, which creates the "I'm at home" vibe. Although other locations exist, and I'm sure they are just as good, the Hunt Valley location rocks. If you looking for a good Breakfast/Brunch location, try Iron Rooster. Get a reservation on the weekends...it'll make your experience that much better. And if you were wondering, there's PLENTY of parking. #MallyMalApproved

As we pulled off the exit, I looked over and there was Iron Rooster! Chick-fil-A was packed, so Iron Rooster it was. We sat at the bar and looked over the menu. My wife ordered the Fried Chicken Cobb Salad, and I had the Chicken Ciabatta Melt with bacon, provolone, tomato, garlic aioli, and parmesan-crusted ciabatta. Overall, the food was good bartender was attentive and friendly. My wife really enjoyed her salad, and the fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. My sandwich was also very good. The only disappointment was that I asked for BBQ sauce and was told they don't have any. They did offer a Korean sauce, which I tried, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. The waffle fries were also hard and overcooked. The last time we ate at an Iron Rooster was in Annapolis quite a few years ago. We had stopped going because the food hadn't been as good as it was on our earlier visits. I'm happy to say this visit was much better, and we'd definitely stop here again if we're in the area.
