Every month my philanthropic group meets for a coffee drop in around the Towson/Hunt Valley area. We chose Baltimore Coffee & Tea this time and it did not disappoint. The limited seating might have deterred several members from joining but BC&T employees were extremely accommodating and found extra chairs for us to have enough room for about ten of us to gather and enjoy coffee, tea and bagels. We met Sharon who came over and greeted our group and even offered a tour later in the spring. How delightful! BC&T has a full display of wonderful local fare and gifts for purchase. This place was a pleasant surprise that I stumbled upon after making a wrong turn...or rather, a few wrong turns coming off the interstate. Essentially I was looking for a gas station where I could stop, refresh myself, and grab a snack, but instead I found Baltimore Coffee, and I'm glad I did. As a tea girly, I absolutely loved this place! They have an impressive selection of coffees, teas, and hot chocolates, along with handmade mugs, Oakley sourced honey and assorted snacks, as well as a variety of accessories for the coffee and tea enthusiasts in your life. They also sell whole bean coffee that they'll grind upon request. In addition to the drinks and retail items, they offer breakfast sandwiches, an assortment of sandwiches and salads, and a few entrées. I ended up ordering the chicken salad sandwich with cranberries and walnuts on sourdough toast. Even though I don't like walnuts, this was still a really good chicken salad sandwich. It was a decent size for the price, and I left satisfied. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which only added to the experience. There are a few diagonal parking spaces in front of the building, and I believe there's additional parking around back as well. Sometimes the best finds happen by accident, and that's just what happened here. Way too many smells when you walk in here. Smelled strongly of hazelnut but also mixed with some other things. Staff were quite friendly and helpful, even offering tastes of cold brew to help us decide what we wanted. My drip coffee was good, but my wife's latte wasn't memorable. Excellent selection of loose-leaf and bagged teas available, so I'd definitely return for that. read more

As always the staff is friendly and very knowledged. Today my choice was another sugarfree latte with oatmilk (creme brulee). With carrot cake cream cheese muffin slightly warmed. Now my taste buds are hopping with caffienated and sweet joy. Its always a pleasure coming to this local spot. read more

I searched the internet long g for a delicious Filipino of coffee and came upon Baltimore Coffee and Tea. The reviews were promising. I ordered an American, my nephew preserved a Latte and my brother ordered a brewed coffee that you chose for yourself. We all LOVE our coffee and are always on the search for something delicious. Everything we ordered was way too hot and when we dared take a sip everything was BURNT! Have you ever had burnt coffee? It's horrible. Made this stop as part of the Maryland cafe passport. It was a perfect spot for good coffee, sandwich snacks, and just a little unique shopping. The coffee was really good. Perfect temperature, not bitter at all, and seemed like they really take care of their beans. If shopping for beans, I don't even know where you would begin because it is just half a shop worth of whole beans to choose from. I ordered breakfast sandwiches and they were just ok. I wouldn't necessarily stop here for the food, but it was a good pairing with being there for the coffee. read more

Biggest selection of coffee beans and tea in the area! I've been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. There are tons of flavors and styles of coffee beans - you can get whole bean or ground. They also have tons of tea- bag style or loose leaf. There's a little area in the middle with lots of treads and gifts from other local baltimore businesses like chocolate covered pretzels and dog treats. Lastly, you can get all kinds of fresh coffee, sandwiches, and pastries. There are a few tables to sit and eat, but it is small so it's mostly grab and go. As soon as you enter, you become aware of how great coffee can smell, pure pleasant aromas that you want to take with you. We were enjoying this afternoon visit. I can't begin to tell you how many flavors there are, one side of the shop has many open bags holding coffee beans ready to ground to your specs. In the center, they have additional items. and they offer a series of about 6 coffees for sampling or pour a cup. They have munchies like biscottis,, bagels as I had ordered a bagel. BUYER BEWARE!!! CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!! Visited this location today and was shocked the blatant oversight of over charging customers. Ordered a breakfast sandwich that $5.50, however, they charged per item on sandwich which made the sandwich $6.25. I strongly believe they have been overcharging customers forever. Absolutely loved this place! All of the drinks are reasonably priced, and well worth it. I tried the Frozen Spiced Chai, and it was so refreshing and made for a good afternoon treat! The cashiers were nice and helpful too. The shop itself is very cool to look around, especially the area where they have all the different bags of coffee beans! I have shopped here for years. Always very happy with the friendly service and the selection of coffee beans. My problem was with the food. I ordered a roasted veg panini. It took a full 30 minutes to receive my order! I am not exaggerating - confirmed this with my receipt. The two food prep workers were chatting and not at all busy. Only 2 sandwiches were handed to customers in that 30 minutes. Then, as I was finally being handed my order by the male worker, a female food worker, who had her hair tied on top of her head, kept scratching under her hair tie with her fingernails and then handling food. It was disgusting. I do love this place, but I will never order food here again. read more

Love it! Great Coffee spot. Glad I found it. I order the standard Cafe Au Lait, and try their different coffees, which they roast themselves. I also buy half a pound of beans (different kinds) to bring home to Connecticut. The coffee is smooth, taste and the aroma you smell in the place is amazing. Was up this way for work the other day, so I decided to pop in for a quick treat. I've seen Baltimore Coffee served at other cafes, but never been to one of their own locations. They had SO much coffee! Obviously that's their whole thing, but I just wasn't expecting what I walked into. I could not believe the number of bags of beans they had along the counter lining the entire wall. They had such creative names for all of the too! I wasn't expecting there to be so much going on once inside - it felt like there was so much to look at. There's also a gift shop-like display out in the middle of the waiting area with little goodies you can purchase and take home, like granola or coffee mugs. I ordered an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and a salted caramel latte. I wasn't blown away by either of them. I liked the cream cheese on the bagel - the veggies were chopped in bigger pieces so they gave a nice crunch. I wanted to love the latte, but I just didn't get much of the salted caramel flavor at all. They have so many different drink options, so I'd definitely like to go back and give them another shot. What a gem! I see this place all the time when I'm running errands in Timonium and finally had some time to stop in. I ended up going the next weekend as well. Here's what I've had: Iced Creme Brulee - which is flavored with vanilla and caramel. This was my favorite drink so far. I don't love my coffee to be too sweet but I like some flavor and I like it creamy. 10/10 Iced Salted Caramel - which is flavored with chocolate and caramel sea salt. I enjoyed this one but I felt like it lacked a little in flavor. 7/10 Iced Latte with whole milk - Classic, just what you would expect Poppyseed and almond muffin - a little dry 6/10. My toddler would give it a 10 though, he couldn't get enough Toasted Six Grain Bagel with Butter - IDK WHY but this bagel spoke to me. It was wonderful, especially for $2.15 Toasted Asiago Cheese Bagel with Butter - Again, loved it Bag of whole bean Kenya AA - Just made a pour over with this today. It was great but nothing noteworthy. Prices are super reasonable. The staff here are all really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend! read more

I live in Los Angeles but have family in Baltimore county & compared to LA there are not that many independent/ small business coffee shops in Balt Co! That's why I love this place! I've been getting coffee to brew at home (yes I take it back with me to LA) for years! They have the biggest variety of regular & decaf coffees that I've ever seen. I love iced mochas & they make a good one which I usually add coconut syrup to! The price is about the same as the big coffee shops but the size is much bigger! In most coffee shops I get a large but here the large is huge maybe 32 oz I'm not sure but unless u need to be pumped all day I get a medium which is equivalent to a.....dare I say it Starbucks venti which we all know they are convenient but if there is a mom & pop coffee shop I'm there all day!! This place is always packed & they have food as well although I've never tried it. The parking & getting in & out of traffic can be tricky but well worth it. read more

Awesome place. Though ironically I'm not a coffee fan. A buddy of mine and I were rock climbing at the gym just down the road and he wanted to come here for lunch after. Great food. Great and really polite service. I got the turkey brie panini. Was delicious. But no coffee for me. They also have a pretty large area for selling coffees, teas, soaps, honeys, and lots of chachkes. Didn't really look but will next time. Nice quiet place. Will definitely try it again sometime. read more

I had the starry night iced latte which was English toffee, hazelnut and chocolate and it was delicious! The shop is so decorative and festive and it seems divine! It seems it was pretty busy so it took a little bit of time to get my coffee but it was well deserved. Will definitely try this place again read more

What a fun place! Can order specialty sandwiches even for breakfast. Quality coffee options to go or can get free refills if you dine in. Tuna was good. Nothing out of the park but a hearty meal indeed. Can't go wrong here. Warm and friendly staff. Patrons come and go and generally elderly dine in . Birthday cake muffin is okay and very aesthetic. Maybe not my best choice, but Sometimes I want to be a kid or pick a less common option. The hidden cream cheese filling helps this item stand out more. Can shop around too. Maybe this is a hidden gem or maybe I'm just late to the party. Either way, this is a cozy spot for lunch and breakfast. It reminded me a bit of a coffee shop from your favorite small-town rom-com. I loved walking around and looking at all of their products while waiting for my smoothie. I ordered the Wildberry smoothie, which tasted a bit like apple juice, but it was good. The chocolate croissant was good as well. I didn't realize I would be getting the one directly out of the case which sometimes I can be weird about just because it wasn't really covered. There were so many options for coffee and tea, so next time I'll definitely take my pick from one of those. read more

I've been coming here for 18 years. Hasn't changed much since then but why change if it's still going strong and has a good loyal following. I love all the flavors of coffee here. At any given time there is a plethora of choices if you want beans or ground to go. They also have a great variety of decaffeinated coffee. Everyday they have different choices for their daily coffees. They switch them up, but have a few that are recurring ones. I personally find their coffee on the weak side, even the darker roasts. I'm not saying they don't taste great, I sometimes prefer a strong full body flavor coffee and I don't feel like I get this here. But I do enjoy their coffee, I just tend to drink it black or put very little creamer. As for food, I usually stick with the bagels here. Soft, fresh and have a good crunch to them. Get it toasted with butter AND peanut butter (this is a must! And so good) goes perfect with a cup of coffee while sitting and chatting with friends. They do have lunch sandwiches and other drink options on the menu. They also have a incredible amount of teas. If you are searching for one to try, I'm sure it's there. It's like the Great Wall of tea. They also have cute unique gifts as well. The people working here are always friendly and tend to quickly and efficiently move people through the line. read more

I needed some caffeine and was in the area so I stopped here for some coffee. The menu looked good and the reviews looked decent. Walked in, looked at the menu again because I didn't see any iced coffee. There was no one in line, there were several team members behind the counter and one on the same side as me, it looks as if she was doing some work related stuff. The team member noticed I was ready to order and she took my order. She didn't speak or anything, I'm not sure what was going on with her but her personality was underwhelming. She was talking to her co-workers, smiling, and having a great time while making my drink. After she made my drink she left it on the counter. No "thank you" "have a great day" no smile or anything. I made it a point to tell her thank you and to have a good day. After writing this I just realized she did not wash her hands or use sanitizer before making my drink, ewww. Anyway I don't think I will come back anytime soon or ever. I didn't get the woman's name but she was petite with dark hair. I went yesterday, Sunday, July 11th around 11am. I wanted to check this place out because they had great reviews on Google and I wanted to get out of Baltimore City. It's a small place that feels bigger than it is on the inside. I'd hoped that my partner and I would be able to grab seating and hang out but all the tables were full and there wasn't as much seating as I thought there was. After taking time to assess the menu we decided on what we wanted and placed our order. They sell a lot of different full bean coffees you can buy to take home and coffee centered knick knacks for the kitchen. We explored around the shop until our coffees were ready and unfortunately neither of us were impressed. My partner got a regular hot latte and I got an iced almond joy latte. My coffee was bitter on the front end which overshadowed the flavors of the latte on the back end. My bf said the same about his coffee, almost like the beans were burned. Always good lattes and baked goods whenever I'm here. I always go with a flavored latte and a muffin, my favorite is the creme brûlée latte or the pumpkin spice in the fall! This is a great spot for breakfast and/or lunch with friends and it always smells good. Sometimes the staff is a bit aloof, but overall is pretty good service. This place is not too friendly. I ordered a small hot latte and was walking around the shop when someone called out "small hot latte." I thought it was ready, so I looked towards the counter. They didn't place it anywhere easy to see, and I didn't find it(so I thought oh maybe it's not ready, someone is telling another person to make it). I then walked back to the counter and stood in front of them, waiting for five more minutes before finally deciding to ask where my latte was since I saw many other people who came after me getting their drinks. (Their drinks were placed on the cashiers counter.) They pointed out that my drink was on the coffee tank, which was different from where other people got their drinks. I was confused why they couldn't just tell me when I stood in front of them. I felt stupid and wasted five minutes. Who wants to walk into a coffee shop and feel that way? read more

Worst coffee I have ever had. I ordered a cold brew. I normally drink my coffee black. It's tasted do bitter and bur t. I had to add sugar and cream to over power the burnt taste but I ended up throwing $6.00 coffee in the trash Yuck read more
