Really cute coffee shop, it's in a rural area, sort of in the middle of nowhere, but has really great vibes and ambience. There isn't a ton of seating in my opinion, just a bar that has many outlets, and then two separate seating areas. The staff was really nice and courteous. It was pretty hot inside, sounds like the AC is not working very well and it has been this way for a while according to the staff. My vanilla iced coffee was really delicious and affordable. I got the 12 ounce. There was quite a bit of ice so I finished it really quickly but I'm sure you can ask for less. The tuna melt was really delicious. My breakfast sandwich cost $9.50 which is kinda expensive for a breakfast sandwich. The scrambled eggs inside were a bit crumbly/dry and needed seasoning, but the bacon and cheese saved the sandwich and made it taste good. They had some cute games on the bookshelf that my husband and I enjoyed playing together. I would come back, but it's a tough place to hang out for a long since it's so warm inside. Maybe better in the cold weather!

This is quite a cute little coffee shop. There are some tables to host a smaller group of friends. I wouldn't necessarily bring a bunch of friends here at the same time as there aren't a ton of seating. I came in right at opening and stayed for about 40 minutes. On a Tuesday morning, I was the only one there which was nice! The shop has typical coffee shop music going on. Service was immediate and the barista was nice. I ordered the hot honey wrap and an iced caramel macchiato. Although I wanted the wrap without the red onions, the barista informed me that it was mixed in with the peppers so it couldn't really be done without. In a way, I'm glad I still ate the red onions in the wrap because I feel like it did add great flavor overall! Iced caramel macchiato 10/10: Perfect amount of caramel, especially on the sides of the cup by design. Not too sweet. Good espresso flavor but not overpowering. I thought it was a great mix of milk and espresso. The caramel syrup was so buttery in the best way possible. Hot honey wrap 6/10: Came out hot and fresh! I wish the wrap had more filling. For example, I didn't taste as much bacon. It is on the sweeter side hence the honey but I would've loved it to be spicier.

Absolutely adorable! Cute little corner spot in the countryside. Yummy coffees, a delicious food menu complete with cute kid selections. I had the BLT and a pumpkin pie latte. So so good. Everyone is so nice in these parts, including the workers here.

Atmosphere When visiting this coffeeshop it was busy, but they had pretty quick service. It had a cozy and rustic farmhouse look with plenty of seating both inside and outside the building. On one half of the building it had a worn but comfy sofa seating area that had plenty of books and some table games nearby. The bathroom was spacious and accommodating with accessible pads. Drinks Cookie Butter Latte 8/10 I got this drink cold and I enjoyed it a lot. It was pretty simple but had a well balanced cookie butter flavor. Caramel Macchiato 8/10 I got the hot version this time but I personally like the cold version better. I can taste the caramel and it had a smooth coffee flavor afterwards. Food Breakfast Burrito 7/10 This burrito had a soft flour tortilla, kinda similar to the texture of a chipotle tortilla. It had fluffy scrambled eggs and well cooked thick bacon inside. It also had a decent bit of rice inside but it was well seasoned. Hot Honey Wrap 5/10 This burrito shared the same soft flour tortilla as the breakfast burrito. It also had tender chicken chunks and was pretty heavy with the hot honey sauce. Lastly, i wished they had used slices of avocado instead of pre mashed avocados but that is a personal preference. Coffee Cake 8/10 I appreciated that they offered the option of warming it up! The cake was moist and I loved the layer of cinnamon paste in the middle. In addition it had a good strudel crust on the top

My son and I happened to find this cafe on the way home from a hike. I stopped because I was hungry for a sandwich and he wanted a sweet treat! We were not disappointed! I ordered the BLT sandwich and he ordered a cake pop. We had such a nice time. Everyone who worked there was so friendly. I love all the details to make it comfortable and inviting to grab a quick coffee or sit and stay awhile. You can tell that they care a great deal about the community and representing local businesses! Loved to see that! There was plenty of parking and seating. I loved the quiet intimate seating indoors. Outdoors there were open tables with umbrellas for small and large parties! Having a small child, I'm always looking for family friendly places to go and this is definitely a cafe I'd return too. There were fun things for him to play with. I loved the large box of sidewalk chalk he could play with. There were even toys for sale. Not to mention, the fact they open early in the morning is incredible! Will definitely be back!

Delicious coffee with lots of seating!! Since the roast coffee and cafe recently just opened, it was super busy Sunday morning. I think in total we waited to order and received it in around 15 minutes. I ordered the lavender iced coffee and it was super good! The lavender flavor was really nice and didn't have that artificial sweetness I find with some other lavender flavors at other coffee shops. There was some seating inside and a lot of tables and lounge chairs outside! I feel like this will be a great spot as the weather gets warmer.

Not very impressed with my chorizo burrito but worth another visit for a different selection another time. Pastries looked normal and didn't wow me but they could be amazing. Cute spot, great location but tiny venue inside. Nice young lady on register which aided to my score.

The Roast Coffee and Café in Glen Arm, MD is a charming spot that has a cozy, rustic vibe that feels particularly homey. One of the highlights of my visit was their croissant breakfast sandwich--flaky, buttery, and so delicious! I added bacon, which is only slightly extra. The coffees are decent, especially when sweetened with a touch of Splenda to balance the flavors.I got the Salty Caramel Iced Coffee with oat milk (alt milk is extra $1). On top of that, the service was quick, ensuring you can grab your breakfast and coffee without any hassle.Such a cute spot, will be back whenever I'm in the area again!

I decided to venture out to this coffee shop after I found it on Yelp. I think it's relatively new and looked super cozy, so I was excited to give it a try. I ordered an iced lavender latte with oat milk and a pastry. I asked if the pastry was an eclair before I bought it and I was told "sort of," so I'm still not sure exactly what it was - but I think it was an eclair/boston creme long john donut. I feel like a lot of times with lavender lattes I can't really taste the lavender, but the flavor in this latte was strong enough without tasting like soap. I took the eclair/donut home to my mom, but the bite she let me have tasted good. I expected it to be overly sweet and was surprised to find it wasn't. I went during a weekday afternoon, so they weren't very busy, but most seats inside were taken since it's so small inside. I came with the intention of staying to work, so I decided to try and find a seat outside. I was lucky and snagged a table with an umbrella just as someone else was leaving, so I didn't have to sit in the direct sun. However, there were only two other tables (besides the one I sat at) with umbrellas outside. With how hot summer days can be and how limited seating is inside, I definitely think they should consider adding more shade to their outdoor seating area. Overall, it's definitely a cute spot. I'll have to try more of their drinks and food to get a really solid opinion, but I work nearby now so I'm sure I'll visit again soon!

First off, I want to say that I have wanted to love this place since I heard it was opening up. It is right down the street from my house and the pictures while they were building looked beautiful. I went in for the first time on opening day and was the second person in line. The offer for a free drink wasn't know by the staff so we had to wait for them to find the manager. No big deal, it was opening day and there's always bugs to work out. I ordered the lavender earl grey tea and a cherry pastry. I was not a fan of the cherry pastry, but I don't believe it's made in house so I won't hold them accountable to that. The tea was not made correctly and I had a feeling that would happen when the guy came to talk to me a few minutes later and verified I wanted the lavender latte-so I had to remind him that it was actually a tea. Again-opening day jitters so I didn't take it too seriously and the drink wasn't bad; I just don't know what it was. I absolutely loved the ambiance of the place. They did a really great job and it's nice and cozy! This is why we attempted it again! There was an advertisement for cars and coffee and since we have a couple classics and race cars, we decided to bring 2 out. We found when we went there that we weren't allowed to pull in to the parking lot because we weren't a part of the group that was there, and they were holding spots for certain people. (We overheard the conversation) We weren't willing to park across the street in the gravel so we left. I tried the third time the other day about 15 months ago before closing. I ordered a salted caramel iced coffee and was still trying to add something else when she gave me the total and walked away and started making my drink. I felt very rushed in that moment and added 2 cake pops to just make it easier. I paid and left and could not drink the coffee because it was all caramel coming through the straw. I figured it was not stirred up, so I checked it and when I got home I realized there was a ton of caramel sitting on the bottom of the cup. I transferred it to a new cup and stirred it up and it was ok, but it didn't taste like caramel at all. I still want to love this place because it is local, but I will need to give it some time before I try again and hope they improve.
