Those are City workers for you. There were four men sitting around reading the newspaper, while two others worked very slowly. Some days/weeks nothing would get done. You tax dollars at work. Today it is a nice, well kept playground. In the summer they have a spray fountain. There are a lot of birthday party's all summer and it's right next to El Sol Brillante, our wonderful community garden. Only children and their guardians are permitted to enter. I've only been in a couple of times, and always with a female friend, to eat lunch. I'd never go in alone. A single guy in a playground might cause a stir. _______

I'm mostly exhausted from working a full time job while doing this, which has become another full time job in itself. When I started the journey to find the best rotisserie chicken in the country, there was so much I didn't know: 1) I had no idea people would actually care and be as invested in this series as they are, which is kind of cool. 2) There are more grocery stores selling a hot & ready rotisserie chicken than I ever could have imagined. I have so much work left to do. I ate the $25.99 tissi from Ouri's here at St. Katherine's Park, and it was a nice place to just sit and eat some bird. A couple basketball courts, playgrounds, ample seating, and bathrooms that are in some desperate need of some TLC. It was a vibe. The bird was actually bomb, but charging $25.99 for a rotisserie chicken should be a war crime. I will never buy it again. I'm taking the night train to Boston tonight to try Market Basket, Star Market, Stop & Shop, and a few other grocery stores. I also need to get to Texas, the Midwest, and Southern California before I wrap this journey up. I'm tired, but my momma always told me you don't start something until you finish it. There's plenty of benches and tables with chairs for chess. There's even a bathroom, although no lock on the door in the ladies room, and only one toilet in there. It's better than nothing. There's a huge basketball court. There's benches near the basketball courts also and more equipment for the children to play on. It's various sections fenced off for what might appear to be different activities and different age groups. This is a nice park if you live nearby. I'm recommending you visit even if you're like me. I just wanted a bathroom break and maybe sit down for a few minutes.

Later in the afternoon there was a activity going on and the place was full of strollers. The area definitely attracts a certain clientele. Much younger children and lots of nannies. There's the playground right near the beautiful green lawn. The area trees are beautiful. It's spacious so you can spread out. I tend to stay outside of the fence. I enjoy watching from afar. Sometimes I feel I may be run over by a stroller! If you have children in the age range and want to socialize with others like minded, this is the place. Make a play date with your friends. It's a beautiful area close to Fifth Avenue where you can shop and enjoy a coffee on a side street too!

Staffs were very friendly in getting us settle for the show. Theater space and stage can improve but it seem to work for the purpose of people attending the show. Props and stage decorations was a too simple. Overall it is a decent theater for the production shows that's bring performed. But there's always room for improvement. I would definitely return back for other shows with my kids. We see you soon!

Had my kid's 3rd bday party - "a show and a party" package, which included a private interactive…read moreshow for us, followed by pizza & cake. They were very helpful from beginning to the end. Answered all my questions promptly, gave me recommendations without being pushy. Booking and planning were easy, I really had not much to do beforehand. On the day of the party, they were very attentive - again, I didn't need to do anything logistical and was able to focus on greeting the guests and enjoying the party. The show they recommended for our age group (mostly almost-3 yr-olds, ranged from 1 to 5, plus parents) was Cinderella. It was as enjoyable for the grown-ups as for the kids. Many of the kids had never been to a theater before and some got a bit scared/confused when the house light first went out, but the interactive nature of the show made it easy for the kids to get into it. They make it quite fun and accessible. After the show, they served pizza and then had a delicious customized cake for us. The whole time, the actors were around, interacting with the kids... totally blew their minds to talk to the characters :D All in all, it was so memorable. Planning was so easy and smooth, people were so helpful and attentive - as someone who usually obsesses and stresses over event planning, I was lost... everything was done well, nothing went wrong, so I was left with no choice but to sit back, relax, and enjoy!
