The seats also used to be clean and in great condition. I'm not sure what has happened, but the last two times we've visited, the condition of the seats has noticeably declined. Today, the middle seat in the row I purchased had ripped upholstery, a brown stain, and the cushion looked wet and sticky. Thankfully, there were only six other people in the theater, so we were able to move to different seats. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful. I just hope the theater addresses the condition of the seats, as it used to be much better maintained.

Their variety of alcoholic beverages is another big plus and makes the experience even better. Between the clean seats, quality screens, and the friendly atmosphere, this theater checks all the boxes. Attendants were available just past ticketing, at all theatre door entrances and at the top and bottom of the stairs. Their guidance and directions to find our seats was really appreciated. The theatre was great. We sat in orchestra Row F Seats 117/118. The seats were comfortable and spacious, with cupholders in front of each seat. I'm petite at 5'1" - I normally feel crammed in most theatres when the seats are so close you are physically touching your neighbor (someone you don't know). We attended History That Doesn't Suck. If you have the AMC app, it's much faster to order your food on the app and then go pick it up on the shelf. Leave lots of time for waiting for concessions. As with most theaters, everything is wicked expensive. I went to a matinee, got a large drink and a Coke, and paid $47 and some change. Ouch. Seating is very comfortable, with lots of leg room. Image and sound were both very sharp. Very pleased. Workers were okay. Not terribly friendly, but not sulky either. So so. Mostly just kids doing a job, not thrilled about it, not bummed about it. All in all a good experience, just expensive and a long wait time for concessions.

Inside was setup for premier, red carpet, etc. Staff: it was a hosted event so all staff were apart of movie cast which was fine. The bathrooms were half way up graded and the toilets had a ring around them which is one of the reasons for the 3 stars. The other is because the seats were outdated and old. You literally sunk in them and had to sit towards the edge to see the film. Overall, felt like your typical high school performance auditorium. I would go back but not on my own dime lol

I'm here sharing my experience watching a movie at their venue. Indian movie Industry is quite much more than Bollywood movies, with each state speaking different languages and separate regional film industries. One such state is kerala with Malayalam as native language. While I don't speak the language myself, I have a friend who is from the state and wanted to go see the movie called 'Bangalore Days'(with subtitles). Initially when we got there we were confused by the blocks of office buildings. But actually inside one of those buildings is Cinevision's office and screening theater. The theater itself is comparable to small ones in AMC or regal multiplex. Since it was some other party renting the space from Cinevision, they only accepted cash. There wasn't much snacks or drinks either. Clearly, this is just a theater for some focus group premier, re-purposed to have small showings. When the movie was over, the theater was still dark and we had to use our cellphones to navigate outside. While the movie was good, seats weren't very comfortable for a two and half hour movie but at least well spaced. But these regional movies can't afford a big premier and I can't complain much about venue choices. Overall, it was better than dollar movie theater experience and if they show another movie that I like(and can't see anywhere else) at this venue, I will go.

It felt just like worshipping at Church. The Dancing is phenomenal. Trust me you will NOT be disappointed. The entire experience is definitely worth seeing year after year. I definitely recommend you adding this Black Nativity Play to your list of events to enjoy during the Holidays. It was the worship experience for me.

Our tickets were just under $50/person before fees and we had a good-ish view of the stage. I say good-ish because we were in the second row of the upper level and there was a bar/rail that ran right through our line of vision. The rail was also the seating section for wheel-chair assisted and other mobility-challenged individuals, so in addition to the bar being right in my line of vision there were also people being seated there and assisted up and down throughout the show. This was distracting, and I had to instruct the little ones stand up so they could see what was happening on stage...which, dear Yelper, was absolutely AMAZING dancing and singing. Overall, the show was too long and too late for my little ones. With a 7:30pm start, my 4yo didn't make it through the show awake and my 6yo melted down about not being able to grad a snack and drink (even though she was well-fed directly before the show). I'd absolutely come to see a performance at the Ferst Center again. I'd I ended up having to get tickets in the second tier, I'd prefer seats further up than what I chose this time. The restrooms are older but clean enough and well-stocked. I appreciated that this particular show also brought in vendors who lined the lobby so a post-show shopping experience and they had a step-and-repeat backdrop in the lobby where patrons could take their own keepsake picture.

Atlanta Eats Live! is a new annual food tasting festival that takes place at the Verizon Wireless…read moreAmphitheatre at Encore Park in Alpharetta. I attended this year's event on Sunday evening, October 5, 2014. I believe this was only the event's second year in existence. It's organized and produced by the folks behind the Atlanta Eats TV show, hosted by Steak Shapiro and Mara Davis. Both Steak and Mara made appearances at the event. Atlanta Eats Live! is the best non-Yelp-related food tasting event I've been to locally. I think it's marginally better than Taste of Atlanta for the following reasons: 1. Your ticket includes unlimited tastes from every vendor. At Taste of Atlanta, you must buy additional tastes. 2. Free parking. 3. Vendors are mostly high quality restaurants. There aren't nearly as many non-food vendors or sponsors, like Xfinity or American Family Insurance, trying to advertise or sell you their stuff. It's very food focused. 4. The event is nicely laid out in a contained space and the lines - even the long ones - flow well. 5. Related to #4 above, the Atlanta Eats event is smaller, so it feels more "intimate" and less crowded and chaotic. In 2014, tickets started at $45 per person, not including ticket fees which bumped the cost up to about $56-57 per ticket. Like Taste of Atlanta and other food tasting events, VIP tickets were available for $100+ each. VIP tickets allowed access to a roped off club section with a few additional tents such as one belonging to Woodfire Grill. VIP tickets also included complimentary drinks and a special parking section. At a minimum of nearly $60 per person, not including extra beverage costs, plus the drive up to Alpharetta for the non-North Fulton folks, I'm just not sure Atlanta Eats Live! is completely worth the price of admission. Though I do have to admit, there was plenty of good food and I stuffed myself silly. Beverage costs were $9 for draft beer, $7 for single wine, $13 for double wine, and $4 for bottled water. The event ran from 5pm to 10pm. Food was served from 5pm to 8pm. Some vendors ran out of food as early as about 6:15pm, but the majority of vendors were well stocked. Advice: Go early. Live music was performed on-stage from 8pm to 10pm. Yacht Rock Schooner was the band for the night and they performed some great covers of 80s songs such as "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)" by Hall & Oates. Along with food and live music, there were supposedly cooking demonstrations by local Atlanta chefs, but I didn't see any. Over 40 restaurants were "hand-picked" for the event. Most of the restaurants have already been featured on the Atlanta Eats TV show or web site. I was impressed by the restaurant lineup. They got some good ones from all over town. It's nearly impossible to try food from every restaurant unless you just take one bite from each restaurant and throw the rest of the dish away (#firstworldproblems - I did not do this). You really have to pace yourself. I tapped out maybe two-thirds of the way through all the tents. I physically couldn't put more food or drink into my body. It also didn't help that I'd indulged in a brunch buffet just hours earlier. My favorites included the Butternut Squash Fritelle from Double Zero, the "Meat Butter" chicken liver and foie gras spread from Muss & Turner's, Local Three, Common Quarter, the Tres Leches Cake from Seed, the Chengdu Cold Noodles from Gu's, and BBQ and sides from Heirloom and Sobban, the plate of which was big enough to almost be an entree all its own. I like how the restaurants didn't hold back in terms of the dishes and ingredients they served. An estimated 2,000 to 3,000 people attended. Overall, I had a good time.

This is my first food festival/event. We got there a little after 5 and it wasn't too crowded yet…read more There was still PLENTY of food and almost no lines. I tried one of each thing and my friend had probably 3 servings of the pork belly. The selection of beers was actually surprising big, and bottled waters and small bottles of coke and diet coke also came with the ticket. As the night went on, it got more and more crowded and lines took 10-15 min for the highly sought after restaurants. I quit caring because my tummy was so bloated (I really can't eat as much as I used to haha). I went back to get some water, and the line took upwards of 15 min. (and they ran out of water). By that time though (7ish), the sky had darkened and it started to rain pretty hard. We hadn't even gotten to the last section yet. Rathbun's and a few others had run out of food and I was bummed. Towards the end, I could only pick and choose and take bites of some dishes since I was so incredibly full and wet. So I guess the purpose of this event--getting my belly full to the brim with yumminess--was served. Overall, they have to know the attendance of the event and they shouldn't have run out of food only halfway through the event. I found a coupon code and paid $65 or so for the GA ticket, so I'd say it was alright for the price. I would not have paid full price though.
