We were told that it would not be done until close which was 7pm. We thought that was a long time but didnt question it. We called around 2pm and they said it would be done within the hour. At 2:30 they called us back and said they never even had a screen replacement for an iphone 15 pro max. So we wasted about 5 hours and almost $270. Would not recommend.

So many repair shops either didn't want to bother or quoted a ridiculous, "eff-off" price just to send a message that they didn't want to work on them. He did not. Very knowledgeable and friendly "nerd" owner with a great, customer-oriented attitude. And he underpriced the competition by almost half! (My suspicion is that the others break a lot of screens doing this repair, so they build in the cost of making a mistake into their price; whereas he is careful enough and uses methods to not break the screen so as to not need to build the cost of his mistakes into the price.) FWIW, I have high standards, sometimes think I know too much, and can ask too many questions. Mike indulged me on all questions regarding a simple iPad repair and then some. (Other repair shops didn't want to talk about their methods or ideas). Cleaned my iPhone port for free, too! Very good communication of the risks and options for the iPad repair. I could be plus or minus $8; even searched all my transactions for the actual total. Six minutes of work.....Told him the same story I told above and I get quips like that don't pay the bills brah. After waiting several more days for the replacement glass to arrive, I finally got my iPad back--only to discover my Apple Pencil no longer worked. I'm an artist. I use my iPad with an Apple Pencil all day, not my finger. The person claiming to be the manager actually told me that because I never said I used an Apple Pencil, they installed cheaper glass that isn't Pencil-compatible. The audacity of that excuse is unbelievable. Why would you replace a screen you broke with one that strips away one of the main features of an iPad Pro? And no one ever asked how I used it--they simply told me they broke the screen and would replace it. Any reasonable person would expect it to be replaced with a screen that preserves the device's functionality. When I asked them to make it right, the manager raised his voice, talked over me, and insisted the screen was "fine" because I could still use my finger. He was arrogant, condescending, and completely unprofessional. I came in for a battery replacement. They damaged my iPad, made it less functional than when I brought it in, charged me $167, never apologized, refused to fix their mistake, and yelled at me for expecting them to. I am absolutely flabbergasted. I now have a very expensive iPad that no longer serves its primary purpose, and I had to pay for the privilege. CPR, at a minimum, refund my money. Better yet, the owner should step in, make this right, and seriously reconsider whether this person should be managing customer interactions.
