Found a Great place to fix my computer on Deer Park avenue in North Babylon, the name of the shop is "Digitcom Computers" I'm so happy and pleased with the outcome of service price and honesty of the owner Ben. My computer has needed work for over a year, the hard drive had to replaced, however, I have had a fear of someone charging me a crazy amount of money for unnecessary work. The owner Ben showed me things about my computer I just never knew, his instructions alone were priceless! I now operate my computer differently because of his instructions and advice. Oh! And all my data was transferred and saved. I realize the advantages of taking my computer to a small store vs going online and or going to a larger store, where service isn't personalized. In the pass, I have called Dell, they are like robots who have tried to sell me another expensive warranty or a new computer and online I never know what I'm getting! I have been going to Digitcom since 2008. I have always been treated well. I understand computers and have been buying parts to build my own from here for a long time. They have never tried to sell me stuff I didn't need and have taken the time to explain any questions I have had. There have been times when I have had trouble putting in a new part or installing software and after calling them for help, have taken the time over the phone to make sure everything was done right and working like it should. They have incredible knowledge of not only the newest computer technology but of past technology as well. And if they happen not to know will look up the information for you instead of making something up. They usually have parts in stock but if they don't can get it in a day or two. I started out frequently visiting Ben to have my kids phone screens repaired. Ben was always super friendly and knowledgeable, told me what screen protectors were excellent and not pricey as well as cases and soon we had no more broken screens. My next trip was with an old laptop that wouldn't start up anymore (with pictures that were important to my daughter) Ben got it running, rescued the photos and all for a very reasonable price. Well this week my 5 year old Desktop stopped working and I use it for my at home business. I walked in and explained my problem, Ben gave me a few scenarios and some prices and in a day he called with great news, it could be fixed. He gave me my options again with prices and helped me make a choice. I was fortunate enough to come across Ben, the proprietor of Digicom. I recently purchased a computer from Craigslist (big mistake) for my son and couldn't get it connected to wifi. On a whim, I brought it over to Digicom. Ben was completely upfront and honest about the outdated system in the computer but agreed to work on it anyway with no guarantees. For a minimal fee of only 35$, he got the computer up and running and was so helpful and informative and honest that I highly recommend him for any computer needs you may have. Called Ben on the phone prior to going to the store. He was a personable gentlemen on the phone. I requested an estimate through the phone call, he insisted on me coming down to the shop to look at it first, perfectly understandable. Drove to the shop, under his observation the phone wasn't bent or tweeked from the cracked screen (hard fall). (I am a welder by trade, hard on my phones) I then dropped the phone off, he complimented me for not needing the phone back for 24 hours however he replaced the screen in less than one hour AND without even asking, he installed a FREE glass protector. Well I once again broke another IPhone and returned to Ben for another screen repair. This one was not as easy as the first. I had managed to bend the frame on my phone with this drop. Ben went above and beyond to fix my phone the correct way. Truth of the matter is I never would've known either way. He could've fixed it and sent me on my merry way. Instead he showed me that instead of cutting corners and putting a dab of glue (which may or may not have affected the phone down the line) he went the extra mile and carefully placed double stick tape to do the job. I had a hard drive with my whole life on it that had broke. After getting a few opinions saying they couldn't retrieve my data or fix the hard drive I was so upset. Then, I found this place on Yelp and couldn't have been happier! I was told that he could attempt to get my data and it would be done in the next few days. Long story short, I got a call back two hours later saying it was done and ready to be picked up! I couldn't have been happier after he saved EVERYTHING for me in hours. I live right in the neighborhood and needed my Sony Vaio laptop fixed. there are a few computer stores along Deer Park Avenue. And I chose this store not knowing what a find I would have. Ben is a true treasure he will solve, fix, and tell you up front how much, what you will need, and if it's not able to be fixed - with no charge I am sure it's depending on what it is... I needed a new computer tower and my data transferred over. I called the store from the yellow pages and Ben said he had refurbished towers and could transfer. I told him my plight that I dont drive and he had me take pix and gather info before I got there so this could go smooth. I was surprised when he transferred my data while i went to Dennys so this could be done in one trip. So very helpful and informative as to what to do when I got home with the apps and printer. Great guy! I had my iPhone 6 Plus repaired here. I had a broken screen. It was repaired flawlessly and also he was nice enough to install a totally free protective glass. Very polite. The following day I was having trouble with a muffled noise when hearing people speak. I gave him the phone and he replaced the broken speaker for no cost. I came into this place after I dropped my laptop and the screen broke. Ben, the owner, is very kind and helpful. He answered all of my questions and even taught me a bunch of stuff I didn't know. He is really dedicated to his customers. It was fixed in a week and the price was very reasonable , probably the best I was going to get. He also fixes Iphones right there in the shop for very cheap. Today, 3/2/2017 I visited digitcom computer to fix my ipad home button. Ben, the owner was very professional,  courteous,  honest, and helpful.   Instead of charging me he installed the assisitive touch to mimick the power button so that the repair was no longer needed.   While there i purchased a new wire connection for my charger as well as a USB flash drive that fits into my samsung phone.  I will be visiting Ben's business in the future and highly recommend it to others!! Went there about a month ago to get my iPhone 6 plus screen fixed. Customer service was amazing. The owner is a really nice person and really cares about his customers. He was very informative. This place was great. Called and spoke with Ben about a broken plasma lap top screen. With just a little info he provided what turned out to be a spot on quote for the repair. He replaced my screen glass and home button. When the home button shifted a few weeks later, he fixed it free of charge, as well as replacing the screen glass free of charge, as it wasn't properly working when I swiped.
