Super quick and helpful staff. I always get an answer and help. Seems well organized and kept as clean as an urgent care can be really.

Between the initial office visit and one set of labs, I've already spent over $1,000. I was told the labs would "usually come back fairly reasonable" through insurance, but $725 is far from reasonable. I was also told there was a cash-pay option of $900, which is equally concerning. I'm not sure what standard of "reasonable" this clinic is using, because these costs feel excessive and out of reach for many people. It gave me the impression that this practice may only be accessible to those for whom cost isn't a concern. Additionally, my experience during the in-office lab draw was concerning. The staff member who attempted it seemed very inexperienced, she removed the tourniquet before even attempting to insert the needle and then tried to reposition the needle after insertion. Another staff member had to step in and was able to draw the labs immediately without any issues, which was frustrating given that I've been told I have easy veins. On top of that, I would have had to pay another $219 out of pocket for a follow-up lab review that was supposed to happen within 7-10 days, but the earliest available appointment was a month out. At that point, I decided to cancel and take it as a sign. I would not return and cannot recommend this clinic. I would hate for someone else to end up in the same position, especially when you're already not feeling well and just trying to find answers, only to be left with an unexpected financial burden on top of it.

I was charged a sum and was never told I would be waiting for the second time to see a nurse practitioner for over 2 hours. The first visit I thought perhaps they are understaffed today however on my second appointment I was to wait over 2 hours again. After waiting for so long they place me in a different room and have me waiting there also. I asked staff if I was going to have to sit here and wait another hour if that was the case then it was best if we reschedule the scheduled appointment and they immediately jumped on that suggestion. So after hours of waiting I was never seen by Nurse (they are short/understaffed with doctors) and was sent away and given a new re-scheduled appointment- Simply horrible.

Really pleased with this place will keep coming back here for regular blood work and check up's.

It is presently 3:45pm and I am still grumpily ensconced in the small waiting area for my appointment. So far, the only positive thing is the receptionist; she is very friendly and positive with everyone I have seen pass through the office (about 5 people so far). At 3:49pm, my name is called and I walk with the medical assistant into an exam room. Ruth, the med assistant, takes my vitals and leaves, telling me the doctor will be with me shortly. A couple minutes later, Dr Rogers walks in. Honestly, I'm a little unimpressed because he does not look like he's in great shape....and yet he's supposed to be telling his patients how to be healthy. He's a nice enough guy and was receptive to my questions, but didn't offer any enlightening responses. My reasons for visiting included getting a pulmonary breath test to check for (exercise induced) asthma and to see if I may have food allergies that may be contributing to bloating. Dr Rogers sent me to another room for the breath test -- the assistant in this room was not very pleasant and I had to wonder if she enjoyed her job at all -- then Ruth the 1st med assistant drew some blood (icky). I left the office at 4:30pm. I spent way more time waiting and doing paperwork than speaking with any one person. I like the location of the clinic because it is close to home, but one staff person could be a bit more "professionally pleasant" and appointments could be spaced out more so that patients aren't waiting for almost an hour. In the business world, being almost an hour late for a meeting is unacceptable. Why do we tolerate lateness when at the doctor's office?

As per the short term rehab facility a nurse was suppose to call me on Monday, Oct. 14th. The nurse did not visit with me till Wednesday, October 16th. At that meeting I was informed I would receive 4 PT and 1 OT session. I was also "told" they only had one OT and he was a male. I called the agency and told them I wanted a female not a male and that I wanted the OT to assist me with taking a shower to ensure I was safe. I waited till 1 PM on Thursday, Oct 17th for the PT to call me with an appointment. Since I didn't hear from the PT by 1 PM I called the agency to inform them I still did not have an PT appointment scheduled. An hr later I did receive a call from the PT and an appointment was scheduled for Friday, Oct. 18th. The PT suggested I have the male OT come and work with me on my rotator cuff that was operated on 7/25 and that a female home service person come to assist me with a shower. I agreed to both. Today no call or appointment from the agency, the female home service rep nor the OT. I had my 2nd PT appointment scheduled for tomorrow however, the time was not locked in. When I text the PT that I saw on Friday to tell him I did not hear from his backup yet regarding the time tomorrow I did receive a call/appointment within 1 hr. I fired Hacienda Home Services today due to the lack of communication, the fact that no nurse was at my house till 3 days after my discharge, the fact that I still had no OT appointment and that I had to call and complain regarding no PT appointment scheduled till Thursday afternoon as well as no call or appointment from Home Services regarding assisting with a shower. Basically I wanted someone present to ensure I did not fall. The company could care less about my safety, my care and my ability to get back to normal. I would not recommend Hacienda Home Services. They failed to provide me the services I needed and were not in place ahead of my release from rehab.

One-Star Review of My Experience on Sunday…read more I recently had one of the most disappointing and unsettling experiences at this clinic, and I feel compelled to share my story. I went in this past Sunday due to chest pain and coughing up blood. I had made a reservation in advance, but I was still forced to wait 40 minutes past my scheduled time before anyone saw me. The nurse who took me back was visibly miserable, unfriendly, and appeared completely disengaged. Her demeanor made it clear she does not enjoy her job, which is not comforting for a patient in distress. When I finally saw the nurse practitioner, Abigail (or "Abby"), she was robotic and detached during the initial assessment. I explained that I had been sick for three days, felt terrible, and was coughing up blood-tinted mucus. She stated she would do a COVID test and initially dismissed the need for a chest x-ray. Only after I pressed the issue did she reluctantly agree to order one. After another long wait, the same unfriendly nurse escorted me to the x-ray, and 25 minutes later Abby returned to say the x-ray was clear. When I asked about the COVID test, she abruptly said she wouldn't perform one because "there was nothing they could do anyway." I was stunned. Having had COVID four times since the start of the pandemic, I know that antiviral treatments like Paxlovid exist. She incorrectly told me I couldn't receive it because I wasn't 50. I reminded her that individuals with comorbidities, such as being overweight, are eligible. She disagreed and refused to test me for COVID or flu. Abby sent me on my way after writing five prescriptions--without any meaningful discussion on how to take them. In fact, the pharmacist later informed me that two of the medications should not be taken together. When I got home, I performed my own COVID and flu tests, which immediately returned positive for Flu A. I then had to consult telehealth to get Tamiflu prescribed, wasting additional time and money while I was already feeling awful. The lack of empathy, poor medical judgment, and refusal to provide basic standard care were astounding. I spent more money on tests and follow-up care that should have been handled at the clinic during my visit. To add insult to injury, when I submitted feedback through the clinic's survey, I received a canned apology from "Banner Leadership" that addressed nothing. The neglect I experienced is incomprehensible and unacceptable for a healthcare provider. The fact that this organization is responsible for the health of Arizonans is deeply concerning, and I am seriously considering filing a formal complaint with the state. Rating: 1 Star - A frustrating, neglectful, and disheartening experience.
