I was impressed by how friendly everyone was. With how busy it is during this time of year with Covid and winter illnesses it's hard to find compassion at urgent cares. They were quick, listened, didn't leave me sitting in the room forever and did an X-ray quickly. I was prescribed medicine and diagnosed and sent on my way without spending all day there. If I could give 0 stars I would. A grungy, smelly, dull, and ghetto urgent care! Everybody who works there, especially the gentleman I spoke with on the phone, are rude and seem like they hate their life. Doctor is a strange man who can barely do his job. He was very unprofessional. I felt like I was gonna catch a disease as soon as I walked into the place. To put it plainly, it was DISGUSTING in there. The Doctor and his staff are more than quite amazing! From the receptionist to the male nurse to the Doctor himself! They made is pay cash pay price because our Primary insurance was show as secondary instead of primary, I called the insurance that Monday morning and they said quote " they are lying we show the insurance as primary. I Called office spoke with Dani B and gave her the call reference number from the insurance and she said she would send the claim to the insurance and once they paid they would refund our money, she said it takes 3-4 weeks for insurance to process the claim. I called back today and spoke to Dani to follow up on the status of the claim and she had never filed the claim and had no notes or recollection of our conversation. Would not recommend this urgent care especially on a weekend where they can't contact insurance offices. Asked to speak to office Billing Manager or office Manager and she said she was the Manager, not good sign of management if she can't make notes and file claims as she said she would. Another family came in with no masks and said their kid had a "bad flu". They gave him a mask. I asked to wait in an exam room because of covid 19. Anyway, the Dr was pleasant and after a tetanus shot and a prescription I was on my way. Everyone I met there was friendly and respectful. I would go back if needed. read more

My daughter had a UTI that would not go away. We took her to this urgent care then to days later to the hospital. After the hospital issued new antibiotics, and an IV antibiotic we thought we were good to go. The next day this Urgent care called us to inform us she had Ecoli in her system and needed a new antibiotic. We were in California at the time. The doctor here went above and beyond to ensure she indeed did have ecoli after we explained we had gone to the hospital. After personally confirming it was ecoli, he then issued us the correct antibiotic to the nearest pharmacy in california. Excellent customer service, they really care about their patients. Took my son here a few days ago because he experienced cold symptoms. Dr. Trang said this is COVID and "educated" him that he has a 2% chance of dying because of it. Do you also tell patients with Influenza how likely they are going to die? He got my son and I really worried and freaked out. However, the test came back negative the next day. I asked the medical assistant who called with the results if I can speak to the doctor since he was so sure it's COVID. He was busy but she told me they would contact me in an hour or so. I went to this urgent care because of the good reviews and, after my experience today, would not recommend this urgent care. First, it took them like 30 mins to figure out my insurance and they ended up not being able to determine my copay so I had to pay the full amount. Then I went to pick up my prescription and they sent it to walgreens instead of walmart even though it said walmart on my receipt. They also had my birthdate wrong in their system even though it was correct on my receipt. read more

My name is Lindsay, and I am allergic to mangoes. OK, I've said it. Step 1: I admit that I am powerless over mangoes and that my life has become unmanageable. My addiction/ allergy to mangoes ended me in the Chandler Valley Urgent Care with a very swollen and itchy face. I have never before had a good experience in an urgent care. I never before had the feeling that the doctor knew what he was doing- at all. The staff at Chandler Valley took care of me- in the 30 minutes they promised. I filled out the usual paperwork and was seen by the doctor almost immediately. He discussed my condition with me, diagnosed me, and sent me off with two prescriptions- and advice to keep away from the evil mangoes. I am impressed to say the least. Hopefully I won't have to use their services again, but should I fall victim to the delicious call of a box full of Costco mangoes, I'll most definitely be returning to Chandler Valley Urgent Care. read more

I've always hated going to the doctor: waiting forever for an appointment, being double booked, billing issues, and hurried, incompetent care. My attitude has changed since I found Dr. Trang. You can tell that he puts a lot of thought into how he'd like to feel if he was a patient. First, you generally don't have to wait more than 30 minutes to see him. Unlike other practitioners, Dr. Trang doesn't have you waiting for this and waiting for that so that a quick five minute consultation takes two hours. Every step of your visit is streamlined to ensure minimal wait times and maximum comfort. The caliber of efficiency at this practice is mind-boggling. Kudos to the whole team for creating such ease! I went to Chandler Valley Urgent Care for a second opinion. Although I was diagnosed with pneumonia from another provider, I still wasn't getting better after their treatment. If that wasn't enough, I was covered in "bug bites." After he asked me a series of questions, Dr. Trang assessed that the "bug bites" were really nodules due to a skin inflammation that was caused by Valley Fever. I swear, this man is a medical genius! I now use Dr. Trang as my regular physician since I can go in whenever I want at a moment's notice. Two visits here and no complaints. They really are fast and very knowledgeable. Normally I wouldn't advocate health care that takes less time than pizza delivery, but on my last visit, the physician figured out a problem I had seen my primary care physician for two times without any headway- and sent me to the ER where they said my gall bladder needed to be out post haste. My daughter was diagnosed with Covid Sep Sep 10'with mild symptoms and loss of taste and smell I would say the worst of this has been panic attic type anxiety so I decided to put her mind at ease and see a dr to check her heart etc Wow what a mistake !! We have been to this location many times and have never seen this DO dr before This jerk of a man told my daughter that testing her heart would be no guarantee that a heart issue is not going on and that most woman show normal when indeed it is not . This just made my daughters anxiety worse however we proceeded with the test regardless and it was normal . He also told her that her personal Dr is wrong concerning Covid Quarantine and that ten days is incorrect and that he wanted the name of her Dr for contact and that it is obvious someone needs to go back to school . Yet another level of anxiety for my daughter !! This man spent no time actually speaking with my daughter regarding concerns . He was more interested in preaching on his opinions of Covid and running out the door . As a mother I was truly furious under my mask coupled with paying 150 dollars to stress my daughter more than she already was ! The nurce who assisted us was lovely peaceful and comforting with my daughter which was nice . I had a horrible night trying to keep my daughter calm and peaceful after this little jerk made it all worse as to why I'm writing a review . Dr. Josephson is more interested in conversation than care. He gave me an examination that was cursory at best, then prescribed Tamiflu and Flonase. Here I am, four days later with nonstop coughing and no voice, in worse shape than ever. I gave the place three stars because I do know that Dr. Tang is great. He treated my husband, and actually diagnosed pneumonia that had been misdiagnosed three times over the course of a week's travels. So do yourself a favor and see Dr. Tang. Took my boyfriend here after he had not slept in days. Thankfully he was able to go back quickly. Sadly he was told his problem was from having tennis elbow from his job and that he should just get a new job. If he could, he would have already done that a long time ago. They gave him only a small pain killer and anti inflammatory. When I saw the milligram of his pain killer I about laughed as he is two of me and I get prescribed more for when I get a root canal. Hands down the best Urgent Care my family and I have been to! We never wait too long and the staff is always friendly. My husband tore his ACL and needed to schedule an MRI asap so that he had an official diagnosis and note from the dr to excuse him for work. The ER did nothing, the drs office couldn't schedule anything, so on recommendation from a friend we came here. He was able to get an MRI done same day (but referred to an Imaging Office down the street)! I prefer going to see Dr. Trang over my family dr because I get seen faster and get better faster! The price is reasonable and I pay $90 although I have medical coverage (it's a weird coverage). I don't mind paying it because I would be paying just about the same (if not more) to see my family dr. My family has seen Dr. Trang for many years when our primary care physician was not available. He has always been very attentive and right on top of what needed to be done. The whole staff is also very nice. The wait time is usually very short, the facilities are clean and well maintained. This past week, my daughter noticed some unusual symptoms I was having after a surgery. She drove me right over to Dr Trang. He again was right on top of what was happening to me, ordered the correct tests, which my daughter made sure I got to in time. Dr. Trang had them get the results back to him fast. He called me the next morning and had me go straight to the Emergency Room because my platelet count was 1. If it hadn't been for both my daughter and Dr. Trang, I may not be around right now.
