Unfortunately, as of today, Diho is no longer our weekly go-to restaurant for Thai food, they just increased the menu prices across the board, we noticed a number of dishes are 25% more expensive, and what we always came for were the lunch specials which are also no longer a good deal, as $14, $15 or $16 for an entree is not really "special", it just brings it to market level pricing along with the other restaurants in this plaza, which I believe are not really worth except for one. We used to overlook Diho's occasional slow service at times, or tofu that went bad and then other times when our order was wrong, we just accepted it because the prices were very reasonable, we didn't expect as much because of the value. That has now changed. With higher prices, I would expect decent service and today was not too great. We waited a while before someone even came to our table with a menu, we had to get our own pepper, had to ask for the crispy noodles- which other tables had and normally just come to the table, my food and my dish was disappointing, less specific veggies than I usually have. This will probably the last time we come to Diho for a while, we will especially miss coming to Diho for a great value, but at these prices, there are now better options with better service and food around Lake Forest.

Delicious food here! They offer both Chinese and Thai and both menus are outstanding. My favorite thing to order is their chicken pad Thai. It is one of the best I've tasted and I love to ask for extra peanuts and no spice. Then ask for their chili oil. Yum! They have a great lunch menu that comes with salad or soup. Truly a great place to dine or takeout! Must try this place. Also, it's worth noting that their staff is incredibly friendly and they always make sure you get great service while dining here. The plaza that this restaurant is located in has many options. The other restaurant that we meant to go to was closed so we decided tk come here for lunch instead. I ordered pad thai from the lunch special menu and my friend ordered the drunken noodles. My pad thai was delicious and I love the peanuts that come with it. Drunken noodles were served on a bed of lettuce. Very satisfied with the quantity that is served. Salad came first. Then the entree. The pad thai is one of the best pad thais that I've had. Part of it is because I'm partial to the amount of peanuts that is served with it. My friend was a little disappointed with the limited drink options. But overall I would come back to visit and order the pad thai again.

Insane giant menu since Diho Siam seems to have two full sized menus, one for Thai and the other for Chinese cuisine. I had lunch there with a friend and I ordered the drunken noodles with pork. She ordered the sauteed ginger mushroom trio with pork. Both dishes were very good tasting. Pleasantly surprised by the portion size for the noodles. I liked it so much I went back the next day to order takeout. The ginger mushroom trio again, mushroom chicken, red curry with pork, and twice cooked pork. Once again, I was pleased to note the generous portions, this time for the dinner entrees. Standouts were the ginger mushroom trio and twice cooked pork. It's actually interesting that the twice cooked pork tasted nothing like classic twice cooked pork, didn't use the same ingredients such as pork belly or dried bean curd but was a tasty dish nonetheless. Sadly though, the mushroom chicken, which also did not follow the classic recipe, did not taste as good. It really was more of an overcooked veggie chicken stir fry. The red curry was also disappointing, very sweet and not much flavor. So, a hit or miss with half the dishes. The service was very friendly both times. Nice that they give you white rice at no extra charge. Menu states brown rice available for a couple bucks more. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Oh ambiance is nice for the inside of the restaurant, looks fresh and recently renovated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, the only restroom available requires a trip through the kitchen to the very back. Seems like a health code violation idk. Still weird either way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My friend who has worked in restaurants noted that it made her feel like she worked there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Generous portions but that's only nice when you like the dish you ordered.

They have the best lunch specials in town. The food is always piping hot, generously portioned, and consistent. My go to is the pad see ew with fried tofu, with generous amounts of their addictive chili sauce and pickled chilis in vinegar. Their drunken noodles, Panang curry, pineapple fried rice, pad thai, squid in Thai basil sauce, are all tried and true. On Mondays and Wednesdays they serve their hot and sour soup during lunch. Did I mention their amazing tom yum soup?

Just terrible. Their other location is way better. I ordered online which is easy and decided to try this location for the sake of comparison. They have pretty affordable lunch specials, and I'm all about a good deal! Papaya salad: tasteless. I asked for spicy and there was zero spice. Totally not worth the $12 or so. Pad Thai: I ordered veggie and they gave me chicken. My order was a to go order so of course I was far away and couldn't get the order fixed. Honestly this shopping center has lots of options for food and there is zero reason to go here. Next time I'll try the sushi place or the Vietnamese place. Diho won't be getting another penny from me. I will say they have fair prices (when you can eat the food) and the portions are good.

Best of the best place to eat at, in the amazing OC! Becky who works there, is a true employee, that truly understands people's dietary needs and allergies too! And makes it the best of the best and most comfortable experience ever! She is truly a blessing to everyone!!!! 100/100, for worlds best service ever!!!

We absolutely love the food here, but there is an abusive server named Dang who is loud and obnoxious and intimidating to not only the servers, but to customers! I am horrified that Management does not do something about this evil woman. She is literally driving people away. We walk by and peek in the window to see if the sweetest waitress Becky is there, but if we see Dang we leave.

Ty Yelp community for steering us in the right direction! We drove in from Vegas and skipping lunch we were ready to grub! This place is in a shopping center right across from our hotel. The plaza is loaded with restaurants. We did not regret our choice. We were warmly greeted and sat quickly. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, crispy egg rolls, Beef salad and Mixed Veggie with Shrimp. Told you we were hungry What did we like ....EVERYTHING! I ate the salad by myself. The meat was pretty lean and well cooked. Salad was very fresh and lightly dressed. The veggies in my stir fry with shrimp were cooked to perfection and they even removed the shrimp tails for you. Not drowning in sauce which I appreciate a lot. My husband polished off the Pad Thai which I didn't try. But he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a bite of one of the egg rolls and was also fresh and flavorful. Not overly greasy. We were so pleased with all of our selections. Service was great, restaurant was very clean. We were the only ones dining in and our server was cleaning non stop when she wasn't waiting on us. This place does a ton of takeout orders, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant people were coming and going the entire time picking up food. When we are in town, we will definitely hit this place up again !

I've not been to any other Diho Siam location, so I can't judge how they are as a chain. I got a Restaurant.com certificate for $25 off of a $45 purchase for this location and decided to use it last week. Diho has a split menu for Thai and Chinese food. I like both, so it seemed like a win-win choice. As others have said, there were several dining groups there even between "meal" hours, which I took as a good sign. However, these seemed to be "regulars," because the lady owner/head of house treated them VERY differently than she did myself and my boyfriend. When we entered the doors, she pointed to us to choose a seat. We started to sit at an empty table when she barked at us to sit in a different booth. Why would you ask us to sit if we were not allowed to choose? People have said she's "curt" and "strict," and I think those are very polite terms. She doesn't seem angry per-say, but she sounds like it! She yells orders and barks comments at customers. If you don't want confrontation or you like to be choosy about picking your own food, this is not the place for you. They have a strict no-substitutions or changes for ANYTHING. We ordered Beef with Broccoli ($12.70), Green Jungle Curry ($8.95), Rard Naa ($8.45), Chicken Satay ($7.75), and a cup of Tom Kha ($4.45) along with drinks. Our total was at or almost (within pennies) of $45 before tax and the forced 18% gratuity that Restaurant.com requires. Woman loudly argued at us that we hadn't met the $45 certificate requirement and told us that we had to order something else to make up the price difference. Boyfriend mentioned maybe we shouldn't use the certificate today and simply keep our order the way it was. She told us we shouldn't do that; we should use the certificate today and should just hurry and order something else. Boyfriend agreed to order Pineapple Curry ($8.95). Keep in mind this was simply the ordering process. We got our appetizers and soup fairly quickly. Boyfriend said the Satay was good, the appetizers that came with his Beef with Broccoli were so so except for the sweet potato wontons which were AMAZING. My Tom Kha soup was sup-bar to other Tom Kha soups I've had. The broth itself had a nice flavor, but wasn't very lemongrass-y or had the galanga flavor. For those who dislike coconut milk, it didn't seem to have much, so maybe that's a plus for some folks. Beef with Broccoli was VERY bland; I've had better at Panda Express. I had asked for the Green Curry VERY spicy, it came out barely medium; my boyfriend could eat it and he can't tolerate spice. The curry was more of a curry soup; a lot of liquid and hard to eat how I usually eat Thai curry. However, the flavor itself was good despite not being spicy enough for me. The Rard Naa was the worst I've ever had; I should have gone with Pad Thai as others here on Yelp said it is good. The Rard Naa was very...SOUR? Not in a good way. None of that smokey flavor at ALL. I tried the Pineapple Curry, which I liked quite a bit. Again, not spicy enough for me, but the boyfriend seemed to like it. Very liquid-y like the other curry. We looked over our bill later to see that we HAD met our certificate balance, but there was no way in HELL we were going to argue with the manager-lady. AFTER our $25 off certificate we ended up paying almost $50 for very bland Chinese food and so-so Thai food. CRAZY. I've had better Chinese food AND Thai food for less cost and less hassle. Would not visit again. For ME, not worth the hassle even WITH a discount certificate, DEFINITELY not without one. I'd consider going here for their lunch specials if I was in a group; I'm a strong-willed person and I don't think I can tolerate the ordering process with that woman again. read more

Haven't dine here but review is for lunch take out. Ordered my usual pad kee mao (spicy noodle thats what they refer to), basil fried rice and fresh rolls with shrimp (they have option for tofu). Portion size was good for the price you pay. Liked the texture of the noodles and the taste. Fried rice was perfect with right amount of flavors. The shrimp roll came with 8 pieces. Did not like it as they used flat rice noodle (the ones they use for pad thai) instead of the thin vermicelli. It was very sticky and chewy. read more

Small, little, unassuming restaurant that has some tasty finds. My fiancee, mother and I decided to come here since we were hungry and in the neighborhood and waiting for some tires to come in at the nearby auto mall. I knew of this place only becasue I've come to this particular plaza for lunch at the Vietnamese restaurant a couple doors down. You walk in and and it's basically a row of vinyl booths on both sides and a couple tables in the center. It is self-seating and the owner lady came and brought us menus. WARNING: She has a very loud, booming and aggressive voice. She just sounds that way! We almost left cuz my Mom thought the lady was being rude to us until we heard her speaking to everyone that way in the same tone and same decibel. Anyway, we ordered from both the Chinese and Thai menu - combo fried rice and pad see ew (Thai) and chicken chow fun (Chinese). The fried rice did not look appealing at all when it was set in front of us but looks can be deceiving because it was delicious!! It was just so dreary brown, no colors, no pow. But definitely good on the taste buds. We all scraped our plates clean, it was that good! Why only 3-stars? Well, it's good but it's more of a take-out kinda place for me since the restaurant itself has zero ambiance. I would probably go there more often if I still worked nearby. So, this is the kinda place I would stop by if it was en route to somewhere or if I just happened to be in Lake Forest :) read more

What do you know? Another thai place again! I could of swore the last time I went here the food wasn't that great? It was a pretty great turn around this time. We had 3 dishes; 1) Pad Thai $9 - typical thai dish i usually like to have from time to time. They actually made it pretty good here. I remember the last time I had it it wasn't that good? oh well it was good! 2) Pad Ka Na $9 - Stir fried chinese brocolli with beef and garlic. This is an EXCELLENT dish to order. Not only did it come very flavorful, the portions were excellent. 3) Grilled Beef Salad $7.25 - I started ordering this dish at every thai restaurant I come too!! Simply one of my favorite dishes. Here its even amazing! The dish came out with the beef still warm and freshly cooked. On top, the salad was nice and green and offered an assortment of veggies in it with a stunning sauce that can't be beat~!! And for the price, this is an excellent dish to get. For a place I've always thought wasn't that great, I changed my mind. This place is an excellent source for thai food. The portions are really generous for the price. They even offer lunch specials at a lower portion/price! The king of pirates will definitely return here one day. read more

This place is everything that orange county is not. In an area filled with chain restaurant after chain restaurant, this mom and pop spot definitely delivers. I have a good friend of mine that used to come here religiously nearly weekly to get the exact same dish and loved this place. I too can see why. You are greeted with a smile when you enter this unasuming spot that used to be buried in a rundown strip mall that has since added a new buffalo wild wings to anchor the plaza along with the panera and peppinos that have held down the fort. The decor and restaurant isn't anything to write home about, but if you look around the area... you'd see that this place isn't out of place and that it really is just all about the food. The wife and I started with the coconut milk soup with chicken (tom kha) which had a great flavor to it and it wasn't over bogged down with coconut milk like many other places. She ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the Pad Se-Iew beef which was well seasoned and incorporated crisp and perfectly prepared broccoli in it. I like to add the pickled thai peppers to eat along with it for the spice factor. In case you were wondering what that dish that my buddy orders nearly every time he is here was... I got it! Its the Chilies and Thai Basil Beef (or Pad Kee Mao). And you have to order it spicy... its not really that blistering hot, but it has the perfect level of heat to enjoy. The dish has beef stir fried with onions and red and green bell peppers along with the classic thai spices of the dish. It is one of their best dishes in my opinion. I think we would eat here more ofter if it were closer, but still worth the drive to check it out. read more

So this place was not easy for me to find. Once I figured out it was in the strip mall next to the Peruvian place, I was fine. This is one run down plaza, but Diho makes up for it in Thai food. They also offer a delivery service if you inquire or find the coupon they have. Thougt it was kinda cool that they have a couple of dishes featured in Healthy Dining in Orange County. Worth a try if you haven't been. The women behind the register are very assertive, but easy to work with. read more

One of the few Thai places I like to go for Pad See Iw. It's a little more pricey compared to other places for the lunch menu but I think it's very worth it for the food. The amount of food is OK but the taste...mmm the taste... it's just so yummy. The lunch deals are great. They serve both Chinese and Thai food. Flip menu upside down to see the other menu! My coworker and I came here after work for dinner and it was her first time here. It was really good. The service was quick and the place wasn't very busy but we enjoyed being able to talk and chat without having to yell out at each other. She said it had been years since she had pineapple curry that tasted that good. I had my favorite Pad See Iw with beef and it was perfect! My coworker would like to come here for lunch sometime so we definitely plan on coming back again! read more

Lake Forest location : the fried rice, curries and salads are very good. The bbq chicken is terrible. Low quality chicken, fatty and bloody. It's the worst. I can't believe they actually think it's worth serving. The service is ok. I ordered online and they gave me chicken instead of the shrimp that I ordered and paid extra for. There is one lady inside the restaurant that is extremely mean to her co- worker. I've seen it a few times. It makes me uncomfortable. read more

I have to come to this place atleast 1-2 times a week to get my fix. So AMAZING! Everything is cooked fresh. My all time favorite is the Pad see ew and the chicken Thai fried rice! So delicious 5 stars for sure!!! read more

I've gone here about 4-5 times, with each time being pretty good. This time around, I suggested this place to Barnabizzle because Tasty Thai down the street happened to be closed for the day(??)... Pad Thai - Pretty good. Slightly americanized, but not in a bad way.. Very flavorful with texture contrasts pleasing to the senses. Make sure you order it to the spiciness of your liking, because the flavor of the sauce compliments the spiciness. Pad Ka Na - The star of the evening. One thing I expect out of food cooked in a wok is that seared, seasoned wok flavor, just like the charred smokiness of BBQ from a smoker/grill. They nailed it very well. The slight bitterness of the chinese broccoli, the seared flavor, and the garlic sauce all came together extremely well. Grilled Beef Salad - This was the first dish that came out. We were pretty hungry, so we started digging in. This was very good. a nice assortment of different salad items that complemented each other very well, tossed in this dressing that is to die for. The cuts of beef were done well(not well done) too. There are a couple of other Diho locations in the area, but my friend was right when he said that this one was their best. read more

Diho Siam Chinese & Thai Food is in a pretty shady location; sharing a strip mall with such reputable businesses as Captain Cream's (a strip club) and the hole in the wall hookah place, Red Sea Lounge, I just thought it wise that perhaps I should just steer clear. But having read Monica D's review and it being so damn conveniently close to work, I decided to finally give this place a try. Similar to what Monica points out, my first impression of this place was that it is definitely the busiest restaurant in the strip mall and for good reason. I ordered the Pad Se Lew, which was very good despite the fact that they used ordinary broccoli as opposed to the Chinese broccoli, which I think is far superior in this dish. However, the Pad Se Lew still had great flavor and the consistency of the broccoli was nice, not over cooked and mushy, like most Thai restaurants that choose to use ordinary broccoli. Finally, for the price ($6.95 for a generous portion), this is definitely a great lunch deal. I am glad that I finally decided to give this place a try but next time I'll make sure to order in ahead of time. read more

The food is good - but only if they get your order right... Just went there the other night to get my usual: Kung Pao chicken, NO nutz and add mushrooms. First the lady took nearly 10 minutes to even come to our table. Then when I said we were ready she still ignored me. Then when she took my order she seems lost. They brought Kung Pao shrimp... but here is the worst part, instead of apologizing BOTH the waitress and the manager (who was not their to witness me placing my order) tried to insist I ordered shrimp not chicken. After failing to convince me it was my mistake, the manager was then callus enough to suggest I eat the Kung Pao shrimp and she would only charge me for a Kung Pao chicken - oh great so she would not charge me for the meal I did NOT order. And I should still pay the same price I expected to pay for the meal I actually did want. When I refused and was visibly irate, the manager then offered me the meal for free. It was like a Chinese auction. She still could not comprehend that I did not want shrimp - I wanted CHICKEN!!! At this point I just refused to eat or pay for anything and left the restaurant feeling like I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life. read more

I ordered the house chicken and it was fried chicken skin and dark meat with a super sweet sauce. Looked like chicken wings, but no bone. Not very appetizing. Moo Shu was just okay. Orange chicken was over fried to the point the chicken was hard and "break your teeth" crunchy. Veggie Egg rolls were good and the atmosphere was nice. Customer service was friendly! read more

I have been here 4 times now (including 1 time at a different location), and I have always found the food to be well above average. So why does it only have 3.5 stars? I have no idea. My only guess is that they are inconsistent about with their food and their service, but to date I have yet to have any upset with them. This is definitely my go to place for Thai. Large portions, nice home cooked meals, and not drenched in grease like many other Thai-Chinese establishments. The absolute best Pad Thai I have ever had comes out of this place here, and I am not a big Pad Thai kinda gal either! Their yellow curry is a close second and the spicy noodles are always a win too! read more

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in OC. I always order the imperial corn and mushroom with chicken, medium spicy. I've literally ordered the same thing for over 20 years and it is delicious every time I order it. The other menu items are delightful as well! Thai fried rice, pad Thai, curry - it's all amazing! The spicy thai noodles with basil are outstanding! The sweet and sour chicken was good, not great. This is a hole in the wall type joint with great food. It feels great to go to any non-chain in OC - which sometimes is hard to do. Definitely worth a try! read more

My husband and I eat here a couple of times a month. They have multiple locations but this one is our favorite. Their atmosphere is great and the people are always so nice and sweet. I love that they have a wide variety of options but I dont feel overwhelmed by their menu. The Penang curry is our favorite! read more

I honestly come here about once a week for takeout during lunch (all the specials are around $9), and I keep coming back for more!! Had the papaya salad, laab with chicken and yellow curry with chicken. Everything was delicious! The laab here was one of the best I've had in a while. It was spicy and had a wonderful citrus flavor. The papaya salad was just as good! The yellow curry was not overly sweet like other places and had a well rounded flavor. They also served it with a generous portion of rice which is very important in my opinion :) The server was very friendly and attentive. Overall, a solid place in my book. Good stuff! I love Thai, my Dad loves Chinese, so I looked up Chinese, and found this place, and thought, perfect! The one Chinese thing I do love is Egg Foo Yung, so I had that, made vegetarian, and Tom Yum soup, which was a little thinner than I was used to, not as velvety w/Coconut milk, but the flavor made up for that, it was GREAT. My Dad had the Orange Chicken and thought it tasted a bit like Sweet & Sour, and that the breading was a bit thick, but liked it as well. I was really happy to see they had the choice of brown rice, and it was mixed with a little red rice, which made it really nice. We'll definitely be going back there! The lady who served us was a bit of a character, just as described, but we were happy with the service. The one thing I thought might use improvement was the Thai Iced tea, but I like mine really, really sweet, so it could just be me. read more

Been here for Thai on several occasions. The ladies are very attentive and the food comes out fairly quick. I get the Spicy Noodles w/ Chicken / Pad Kee Mao. Super yummy. The ambiance is so-so. Its in a strip mall and the restaurant is pretty small and simple. I wouldn't come here on a date night...but its my go-to when I have a craving for Thai. I haven't tried the Chinese Food here but if you flip the menu over, you have that option as well. Oh, and they serve beer and wine. Always a plus. ;-) read more

Solid 4.5 stars for the Thai half of the restaurant, -0.5 for the Chinese half. Diho Siam is known throughout the south Orange County area as the place to go for decent tasting Thai food. The plaza is built to support the local businesses and that's quite obvious at lunch time on any given weekday when every single restaurant in the vicinity is standing room only. Nonetheless, Diho is the most popular restaurant in the strip mall section... and there's great reasons why. Their food is tasty but still retains a touch of authenticity. The pad thai (with any choice of meat, but a great alternative is to get the veggie kind with just tofu) is tasty and always well prepared. If you're looking to move past pad thai, definitely opt for the pad se-lew... the flavors just straight up emanate from everything on that plate! As far as entrees go... the angel wings come with a delicious honey plum sauce that can't be beat. If you're into the spring roll thing (which I am not, but my family in general is), theirs are not bad... definitely not of the frozen mass quantity variety. ALL of their proffered seafood dishes are INCREDIBLE, so if you're into that don't miss out. I'm not sure if I was too huge a fan of the crispy duck, but the accompanying lime sauce is to DIE for. By far my favorite dishes here at Diho are the curries... particularly either the green jungle curry or the pa-nang. And if you ask them nicely, they can either turn the heat up or down on the dishes for you! The service is excellent, partially because I'm positive they like a high table turnover, and partially because I come from a crazy Asian family where the ladies sound like they are always pissed off. The co-owner comes out sometimes and will do some of the serve/bus/order work, and she has really been consistently sweet all the years we've been coming here. P.S. Don't order from the Chinese menu. In 2000 I visited Thailand and developed a love for Thai food. Diho Siam is a monthly spot for my co-workers and I now. I wish lunch portions were a touch larger but the taste, freshness and cost is just fantastic. My go to is the Thai Cashew Nut. My wife loves the yellow curry or the Pa Nang (sp?). I've never used a coupon because the lunch special is already pretty cheap. The short lady who is the vocal/friendly lady has always been courteous and helpful for me. Probably eaten there a dozen times now...and a dozen more is on the way. read more

Got to-go from here after reading some fairly positive yelp reviews. After all, you can't go wrong with a Chinese Thai place. We got the New Years Chicken, Mongolian Beef and Beef Lo Mein Noodles. Overall, the food was flavorful and portions were decent (not huge but decent). The New Year Chicken was disappointing. It had about 6-7 pieces of chicken -- mostly skin -- deep fried and drenched in syrup. While this sounds good in theory, there was hardly any chicken meat. They should change the name to New Years Chicken Skin. On the other hand, the Mongolian Beef and Beef Lo Mein were pretty good. If I had to find one thing wrong with the lo mien is that it was on the dry side. That's good and bad but a little too dry for my taste. Overall, this place is pretty decent and I would probably venture in here again when desperate for Chinese. read more

An honest restaurant offering fresh ingredients and a delicious finish to almost every plate I have tried. Stay away from the wings. All the rest is yummy. Some of my favorite dishes are the shrimp chicken glass noodle soup. Ask for them to serve it traditionally. Also the budda's feast, spicy eggplant, and mixed vegetable are bomb. This is my go to take out place for Thai food in Irvine. I really enjoy the pad Kee mao and pad see ew from here. The parking lot is in a big plaza but parking can be a little tight at busy times. The wait isn't too bad I usually order on eat 24 but have dined in as well. There's a decent amount of seats about 12ish tables. The service is pretty fast and the food is great. If you are ever in this plaza take a chance to check it out. read more

Yep, 5 whole stars. For the price the food is great, but what really put me over the edge was the service. There is good service (refill your water glass on time, be polite, attentive etc) and then there is the level of service I got today. Seated quickly, water delivered, checked on me a couple times. I placed my order and asked for no rice (no carb day), she took my mixed vegetables and beef order. Food came quick, and as I paused in the meal the host came over to explain they could make anything on the menu without rice or noodles, and substitute veggies. I guess I am just impressed that they take the time to put two and two together, and then let me know not to limit myself to dishes that are vegetable based. They took the time to explain options to me, that wins me as a customer. Appreciate the forethought and the food. read more

It has a nice ambience and the service was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive. I haven't had a calzone in years and for some reason decided to have one here at De Lucia's and boy was I pleased with my decision. The crust was just the right amount of crispy, the cheese was nice and stringy and the meat sauce was the topping on the cake. I have to also shoutout their delicious Cesar salad and complimentary bread. Everything was excellent and will have to stop by here again the next time I'm getting my car serviced.

The chicken sandwich was juicy and the cut was thick. The fries are cross cut tempura battered, and the brick style includes the mom's special sauce, grilled onions, and cheese. If you look at the menu from years past, you'll see that the price has only changed by $1 in the past 5 or 6 years. It's very impressive that they can keep the prices low so the average joe isn't priced out of a humble burger joint. Much respect to the family that owns this place. Y'all just earned a customer for life.

She's thai and she's always giving me and him cooking tips for cooking thai food. We've had thai food in Westminster, Hutington Beach, San Clemente, and now... we've found the diamond in the rough... Diho Siam! YUM YUM YUM!!!! Extremely rude people! There are two old women that are very disrespectful and rude with delivery drivers! I always try to avoid this restaurant for deliveries but sometimes I have no choice and every time I go there I tell myself this was the last time! The owner is a nice man but he's not there most of the time and these two women are walking on the nerves! One time I went there to pickup a delivery and the order was ready sitting there on the counter but she wouldn't give it to me! She took her time working some other stuff that she could do later but instead kept me waiting for 10 minutes where she could just simply hand over the food to me in 2 seconds! The don't respect the driver's time and they don't care if the customer's food gets cold! They are always behind the schedule. We've been going here for years, While always pretty good, I would never say it was great. The decor was horrible and it was uninviting to eat there. Came in the other day with the family because it was a cold, rainy night and we wanted soup. To my surprise the entire place was decorated and it looks fanntastic. Warm and inviting, modern, very nice. Even the menus were new. Now I dont know if it was physological or what but the food was 10 times better than ever before! Just to check, we came back for take out a few days later and.......still great! And as for the owner, sure she is unique but I love that about her. If I can do a 0 star I would, My family and I recently dined at this restaurant and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The food tasted off, but we didn't think much of it at the time. However, within a few hours of eating, all of us started feeling very sick. We suspect it was food poisoning. This was incredibly disappointing, especially since we were looking forward to enjoying a meal together. We understand that mistakes can happen, but this was unacceptable. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. I would strongly advise others to be cautious if considering dining here. read more

Hygiene please!!! I used to love eating here until today when I saw one of the older ladies that work there PICK HER NOSE in front of the whole restaurant for a good 60 seconds. She then looked at her finger and continued about her day without washing her hands. This wasn't a quick nose wipe, this was a full blown digging for gold session. She brought me my check and took my debit card. I had to wipe it down with a clean napkin before touching the pen and my debit card. It's a shame that such a nice place doesn't have good hygiene leadership. I would have given 4 stars before today. read more

It came with two sauces, and in my opinion, the meat didn't even need them. I'm guessing they're more for the salad underneath. Papaya salad was just okay. Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. Could've been because it was takeout and I had to mix the sauce it comes with myself and sometimes that makes a difference. Also, it was not spicy at all, so keep that in mind. Mango sticky rice hit the spot. Served warm, mango was ripe and sweet, and the sticky rice soaked up that coconut sauce. It was so good. They also hook it up with condiments. The jalapeños were actually really good. It tasted fresh, crunchy, and had a nice kick without being overwhelming. In addition, they include chili powder so you can adjust the heat to your liking. Overall, feels like a family own spot that knows what they're doing. Efficient service, everything packaged neatly, and food comes out quick. The ambiance feels like an old school Thai restaurant and sometimes that's exactly what you want.

But it's cold and it's raining and I wanted to sip on something warm. They sent me the tiniest cup of soup. think when you go to a restaurant and they ask you if you want a cup of soup for three dollars or a bowl of soup for five dollars. I got a cup of soup. think when you go to a Japanese restaurant and they give you a small little miso soup with your meal. That's how much soup I got for $18. There were two slices of tomatoes in there a a couple mushrooms and a 2 piece of shrimp. This upset me so much because I spent so much money and was expecting some food. I politely called the restaurant and spoke to them about it and they said that they were very sorry but it's expensive because DoorDash charges 30% of the price. Which I understand, and I expect to pay more to have something delivered, but it was still very expensive for what I got, and in the end, it wouldn't have cost them much to give a large portion, and they should be more mindful about balancing what the customer is getting with their profits. Which they totally deserve their profits. It would be much more reasonable if the small was $6 and the large was $12. If that was the small I can imagine that the $25 large portion probably should've been offered as the small portion. Just writing that out upsets me so much have you ever spent $25 for a soup before?
