When I arrived , I immediately noticed a steady flow of takeout orders which is always a good sign. People were in and out with bags. There's a mix of indoor seating and some outdoor communal tables shared with nearby spots, so it has a casual vibe. I started with the Pad Thai and it delivered. Slightly on the sweeter side, but balanced. The spicy powder came on the side and I forgot to mix it all in. The noodles weren't clumped at all and the shrimp tasted fresh and have not been sitting around. Theres also plenty of shrimp tucked underneath. The Crouching Tiger was probably the dish that stood out for me. The beef was super tender with just a light sweetness to it. It came with two sauces, and in my opinion, the meat didn't even need them. I'm guessing they're more for the salad underneath. Papaya salad was just okay. Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. Could've been because it was takeout and I had to mix the sauce it comes with myself and sometimes that makes a difference. Also, it was not spicy at all, so keep that in mind. Mango sticky rice hit the spot. Served warm, mango was ripe and sweet, and the sticky rice soaked up that coconut sauce. It was so good. They also hook it up with condiments. The jalapeños were actually really good. It tasted fresh, crunchy, and had a nice kick without being overwhelming. In addition, they include chili powder so you can adjust the heat to your liking. Overall, feels like a family own spot that knows what they're doing. Efficient service, everything packaged neatly, and food comes out quick. In Foothills Ranch looking for somewhere to eat and came across this small establishment in the food court near the old theater. We tried the spicy beef salad, rice, and spicy wings. Beef salad was very good and had nice spicy kick. The wings were good, but not really spicy as it had a more sweet taste than spice. I came in in the late afternoon after coming from Church on Easter Sunday. I had a bit of a mix up with another restaurant, so I decided on Bangkok Thai Cuisine. Which was a great choice because I had been craving their Pad Thai for a long time!! Located in the Town Center Food Marketplace, I arrived and noticed it was empty so I was glad I could get in and out quickly. Kate was the one who helped me that afternoon. She was quick and friendly. I told her I wanted the shrimp Pad Thai and she handed me a call button that would alert me when my food was ready. She invited me to sit and wait while it was getting prepared. The place is so cozy and quiet, so it was a nice escape from the crowds earlier haha. Kate came out with my food about 7 minutes later and I thanked her for being so fast (my call button didn't even ring) I also let her know that I would be giving her a good review, based on her kindness, efficiency and welcoming nature. The Pad Thai itself?! 5/5!! I had tried this once before with some old friends, so I was excited to try this out again! Some of the review said that it was plain, but the solutions were so simple - just ask the owner to make it more saltier and tastier and problems solved. Through, the front glass, I was immediately invited by the modern look and atmosphere of the place. Upon going inside, we ordered the House Salad, Pad Thai Noodles, and Golden Triangles. The House Salad was light and refreshing and the golden triangles were crispy on the outside and very flavorful and warm on the inside. My co-worker and I decided to grab lunch at Bangkok Thai Cuisine and she was raving to me about how good the lunch specials were. For only $10.95, I got the Pad Thai with pork and an option of either a soup or a salad. I decided to get the salad for lunch, which came with a yummy creamy dressing. The pad thai was so flavorful and such huge portions. It's one of my favorite pad thais I've ever had. On top of that, the service was great. The cashier was friendly and attentive. Overall, I def would be coming back especially for a great meal that's such a steal. I came here for their lunch special for $10.75 to go, which ended up actually being around $23 with added mango with sticky rice, tax and tip. I got pork pad thai with a side of soup and since I saw they had mango with sticky rice I had to get that. I also checked in on Yelp to get a free Thai milk tea. I was a little confused about the lunch special at first. You either get a protein with a certain sauce or with noodles. I thought you got to choose the sauce and noodles, but after the lady at the counter explained, it made more sense. They should of put a specification that it was either/or, not both. I got my food pretty quickly, in about ten minutes after ordering and I took my food home. My Thai milk tea was put in a small and somewhat flimsy cup and it overflowed a bit so it was a little messy. It was a little heavy on the milk, but not too sweet. When I got home I tried the soup first. It was like a hot a sour egg drop soup. I really liked it, I especially liked that it was slightly thick and it went well with my rice. The pork pad thai was very tasty as well with lots of noodles and a generous amount of pork. The mango sticky rice was really good as well. I'll start by saying that I've been here before and had no issues. I visit this Plaza frequently for lunch options they offer. Thai was what we craved so we got pad thai which is better than their other dishes. Food was good, but when I asked for 2 waters, lady gave no response and turned while giving me the RBF. I can't fathom what I did to deserve such nasty service. Then I asked for some chili oil hot sauce, she replied "I gave you 2 already." She was referring to my pickled jalapeño sauces. Bangkok Thai, has been in this plaza for quite some time now. I had always wondered about their food but didn't think they'd be worth visiting. I was proven wrong this weekend. The restaurant is very small and most of the seating is outside in a covered patio or under umbrellas at a food court. The area is a great place to eat on hot days or summer nights because of the nearby bands that play. I ordered the pad see ew which was so darn delicious. The pad see ew noodles were so flavorful, not dry at all. I ordered this dish with tofu which was perfectly cooked with the well sautéed broccoli. It was so good I wish I had more. I also had an app of crispy fried tofu which came with a sweet and sour sauce. You can see the size and how much you get in my photo, although we had already eaten two pieces. Price. For me, the food costs a little less here. At least for the two items that I ordered, which is probably due to the portion size. Again, they're more individual size rather than for sharing unless you eat like a bird. I would definitely order from Bangkok Thai again. We walked in and were greeted my an additional very friendly woman. She had our stuff all packaged up and she made my Thai iced tea. She handed me a huge plastic cup of Thai iced tea. I've never been given a bigger portion of it at another Thai restaurant. Probably way more sugar than I should be having, but it was really good. Not the best Thai tea ever, but among the better ones (and didn't taste watered down). We got home and opened up our food. Pad Thai with pork, drunken noodles with veggies, and a yellow curry with veggies. Portions were very good, especially for the price, and the food was piping hot. The curry was among the best I've had. I haven't traveled the world, but in my OC bubble I'd have to say it was probably the best. The pad Thai was also super good. I always have low expectations for pad thai because I'm constantly disappointed, but this one really was up there with my favorite. Was not too sweet, and was not bland. Noodles had a good texture too. Drunken noodles were delicious, hard to go wrong there. Overall, we were both really impressed. Such a CUTE little thai restaurant and their food was so good! I walked in and felt the homey-ness with the personalized decorations and I liked the blue paint. There were also some lights strewn across to give it a dreamy atmosphere. The person who took my order was nice and I was thankful this restaurant provided water in nice plastic cups. I ordered the green curry and pad see ew (the chicken was ok and the bamboo had a wiry texture. I recommend beef) and they both were so good! The green curry was not too spicy (she said it was a 3 out of 10 hot level and it was precise) and super flavorful! My son and I ordered some food here for take-out as we were desperately craving for some Thai food. The 3 items we ordered tasted good, but some of the ingredients came out undercooked. My son really liked their YELLOW CURRY with CHICKEN, but the potatoes and carrots came out crunchy. I wish that they cooked it well especially the potatoes, which would've made it so much better. The DRUNKEN NOODLES with BEEF and BANGKOK FRIED RICE also came out good, but their portions are so skimpy, which is understandable as their prices are reasonable for South OC. Service on the phone was cordial and I give them credit for their clear communication. This place is in the Foothill Ranch Towne Center, near the theater, and the interior/ambiance is small, but with available seating outside as well as inside. Came over to the food court and found this tiny but mighty place in between Rubio's and Acai Republic. First of all, don't ever judge a book by its cover. This place doesn't look like much, but the food absolutely makes up for it. It's clean and quiet. Not too many tables inside, but there are plenty of tables and chairs outside. The service was great! Service was good, people were nice, and you had the option to sit indoors or outdoors, though there's only three tables inside, still appreciated the peaceful and quiet atmosphere, relaxing music playing in the background. We came around noon on a weekend and it was not busy, but the other restaurants were also quiet so parking is also easy. This area is a good choice if you have family and/or friends who don't all want to eat from the same restaurant.
