It's good Thai food. It's good ingredients fresh, they are kind. They have a dish called.Hormok palay that I never had before and I really like it. I don't know how to describe what it tastes like, but it's kind of like a seafood curry with spinach and a bright rainbow curry. Pad woon soon was good too. And pad see ewe. However, I had a major disappointment Last night. I ordered a Tom kha goong soup that cost $17. Most places sell the soup for like 5-10 dollars so I'm thinking $18 is expensive that has got to be some dinner portion soup so it didn't make sense when it asked me if I wanted a large for seven dollars more, I'm thinking that that's probably a portion for a family. But it's cold and it's raining and I wanted to sip on something warm. They sent me the tiniest cup of soup. think when you go to a restaurant and they ask you if you want a cup of soup for three dollars or a bowl of soup for five dollars. I got a cup of soup. think when you go to a Japanese restaurant and they give you a small little miso soup with your meal. That's how much soup I got for $18. There were two slices of tomatoes in there a a couple mushrooms and a 2 piece of shrimp. This upset me so much because I spent so much money and was expecting some food. I politely called the restaurant and spoke to them about it and they said that they were very sorry but it's expensive because DoorDash charges 30% of the price. Which I understand, and I expect to pay more to have something delivered, but it was still very expensive for what I got, and in the end, it wouldn't have cost them much to give a large portion, and they should be more mindful about balancing what the customer is getting with their profits. Which they totally deserve their profits. It would be much more reasonable if the small was $6 and the large was $12. If that was the small I can imagine that the $25 large portion probably should've been offered as the small portion. Just writing that out upsets me so much have you ever spent $25 for a soup before? read more

We love having this wonderful Thai restaurant just five minutes away. Our go-to dishes are the pad see ew with beef and fresh veggies and the yellow curry with chicken--both are delicious! It's the first place that comes to mind whenever we're craving Thai food. read more

Their lunch special is the deal of the century. Big portion of food and then a free drink! Pad sew ew is just ok - taste is a little bland. But everything else I tried is good, especially the curries. Nice couple who run the place and very friendly. read more

Friendly and quick service! Stopped in for takeout less than an hour before closing and still a pleasant experience. We ordered the chicken wonton soup and chicken pad Thai. The wonton soup broth and veggies were exactly what I was craving! The chicken was a bit overcooked for my liking so I'll probably try the vegetable and tofu soup next time since it's the same broth and veggies. The pad Thai portion size was good. It was really packed in the container so at first glance we thought it was a bit small but we ended up having leftovers. Since we drove home before eating, the sauce quickly absorbed into the noodles so ask for extra sauce if you prefer a saucier dish. Have to come back to check out the lunch specials! read more

We were in the mood for Thai food and we came to check out this place. It's located in the Stater Brothers shopping center next to a Pengo and there is plenty of parking available.We came in on a Friday night and the place was pretty empty, we were instantly greeted by a really nice man, he let us know that we could sit wherever we wanted. The restaurant itself is very clean with some nice Tai decor. It's not very big inside, but there's plenty of seating. We ordered the Tom Yum soup and Pad Thai and Garlic Beef Prik to drink some hot tea and a Tai tea. Food came out pretty quickly, and it was good!! Ive had quite a bit of Thai food as it is one of my favorite foods, I would say this place is pretty decent if you're in the mood for Thai and you live locally. I did notice that they were getting To Go orders picked up and also a few more customers came in while we were there. Food was ok, nothing standout but unfortunately, they gave us some mango pieces (mango sticky rice) that had spoiled in the middle so we had to throw those pieces away. Hopefully, they can be more careful when making/plating the food in the future. read more

Hit and miss. Sometimes it is really great. Other times, it's like they didn't try. Guaranteed to forget your Thai tea if you ordered over the phone. Spicy levels are suspect. The people are always super friendly. Make sure if you like spicy to order the food 3 star 10:10 spicy. I still love the place especially when the pad kee mow doesn't have lettuce. This place is the definition of a whole in the wall restaurant. Found it by happenstance in Lake Forest and decided to investigate. I ordered the cashew chicken lunch dish as spicy as they would make it and was VERY pleased. Fresh ingredients, tasty rice. I would appreciate more protein in my order, but as it was the lunch portion, I'll let it slide this time. Thai Corner is our new favorite Thai spot. We recently moved to the area and were trying to find our favorite takeout spots. We dined in for our first try and it was just lovely. It feels like a family run business, super comforting and warm. We were very impressed with their take on our favorite dishes, specially the Pad See Ew--it's the best we've had!! Saw a lot of good reviews so decided to eat some Thai Food. Very good choice. Small business did not disappoint my taste buds. I ordered the Chicken Pad Se Ew and Orange Chicken. Both were very good. The thing I liked about the Pad Se Ew, there were lots of broccoli and greens along with the noodles. Great taste and noodles were cooked perfectly. The orange chicken was very good and a lot better than most places. I could taste the oranges and there were lots of orange pieces. This place was a "mom and pop" small business. Ok. Second review for this place in like 3 months. Also because we just had this for dinner tonight. 1st time dining here, all the other 20x were take out. Definitely a hole in the wall spot. Don't sleep on this place. It's as good as it gets. The chicken penang curry is our ultimate favorite. We recently ordered their calamari for starters, also good. *a review during the COVID-19 pandemic* I was craving Thai food and this place popped up close by so I came here with my BF for a weekend lunch. The place is small but easy to find and there's plenty of parking around. For an appetizer, we ordered the cream cheese puff. I wish they were crispier but the filling was good. For my main course, I got chicken pad Thai. The flavor was good but I felt like the noodles were overcooked cause they were pretty soft. My BF got the crispy catfish and I loved all the crunch vegetables with the catfish. Overall all the dishes were good. All dishes and utensils were in black takeout containers or paper plates. It made it easy to take our leftovers after. Though I'm sure some people may think it's tacky for a dine-in experience, I appreciate it since we're still in the pandemic and I like that the restaurant still takes precautions. Chicken satay was on point: tender and juicy that paired really well with the peanut sauce. Thai Corner is aptly named because it is almost hidden in a Lake Forest strip mall. This small restaurant serves traditional Thai fare. We dined here for lunch one day, taking advantage of the special lunch menu which is available on weekdays until 3pm. As part of the lunch special, customers can choose from a wide selection of entrees plus soup and salad. We've frequented many Thai joints around Orange County, and Thai Corner was adequate but not our favorite. Food portions are quite large, but the quality and taste were just average. read more
