Tapadiya's surgery was so skillful that I did not need painkillers the next morning after the surgery, or ever again.

Other drs deflect and tell her to try to lose weight Great team that gave wonderful instructions on how to care after surgery and checkup. I was…read morediagnosed with a minor ACL tear and a meniscus tear, and Dr. Chambers recommended ACL reconstruction using an allograft along with meniscus surgery. I asked specifically about the meniscus procedure and was told that approximately 30% of my meniscus would be trimmed or removed. I asked about stitching it and he said that it is not possible. As a 36-year-old, I was concerned about the long-term implications of removing a significant portion of my meniscus, particularly the potential increased risk of developing arthritis over time. I also did additional research on ACL graft options and learned that, depending on the patient and circumstances, an allograft may have a higher re-tear rate than an autograft, particularly in younger and more active patients. Rather than proceeding immediately, I decided to get additional opinions and do more research. I am very glad that I did. I ultimately found another orthopedic surgeon who was able to repair (stitch) my meniscus rather than remove part of it, preserving 100% of my meniscus, while also addressing my ACL injury. When Dr Chambers made it clear that stitching wasn't an option. My experience taught me how important it is to thoroughly research your injury and treatment options and, especially for significant orthopedic surgery, get a second or even third opinion before making a decision. I would strongly encourage anyone with a meniscus tear to specifically ask whether meniscus repair is possible in their individual case and to consult an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in meniscus preservation and repair. One thing that helped me during my research was simply searching Google for "orthopedist who will stitch meniscus". That search helped me find surgeons who specifically focus on meniscus repair and preservation, rather than immediately removing damaged tissue. I am grateful that I took the time to investigate my options before undergoing surgery. Had I not done so, I may have ended up with a procedure that I would have regretted in the long term. I also had a separate billing issue with the office. After their office submitted the insurance claim, I discovered that I had been overcharged. I contacted them about the discrepancy, and they acknowledged the issue and said they would refund the difference. It's been a month, and I still haven't received my refund despite calling the office multiple times. I am sharing this review because I hope it encourages other patients to ask questions, research their options, and seek additional opinions before proceeding with surgery. If even one person benefits from taking that extra step, then sharing my experience will have been worthwhile.

And, if you take too long to thoroughly fill it out, they cancel your appointment regardless of the 1-1/2 hour's drive, the lengthy lines, and the pain you are suffering. I had gotten there 10 minutes early, but lines were slow. Earlier I notified them that I previously had registered and also that I also did not have the facility to fill out a new one. (No computer, fax, or printer) I explained that I needed ADA accommodation to fill out yet another one. But, it wasn't until I questioned their requiring my credit card so they could make individual unauthorized charges unbeknownst to me. (They demanded an open-ended pay for any unknown amount of $$$ with my credit card with no notice of costs.) They even cancelled the registration I tried to fill out so that I would have to start all over again. This was after telling me that I would just have to continue from where I left off...a blatant lie. Their brochures try to paint a different picture...don't be fooled. The whole situation was shocking, calloused, and anything but helpful. They are the worst provider in the SCAN-Optum network. And, this whole fiasco was a blatant waste of my time and tax on my health and well being. Lord knows this 80 yo doesn't have much left.

As a medical professional myself, the problem here begins with a myriad of issues but I'll touch on a few - incorrect scheduling, consistent double-booking, extremely long wait times (1.5 hrs at minimum), and overall inaccuracy and inefficiency of staff. My fiance was in a terrible accident and we were referred by insurance to this facility. For starters, entrance is TERRIBLE for an orthopedic office. My fiance was in a wheelchair and it was a horrendous experience everytime trying to get him into the office itself and in between the narrow spaces of each door. BTW, no one helps to get the door or even seems concerned lol so I had to bring my own door stopper for each visit. We have visited this office about 3 times and EACH time there is over an HOUR TO TWO HOUR WAIT for patients to be seen. Keep in mind, when we first visited my fiance COULD NOT WALK and was extremely uncomfortable to be waiting for 2 hours!!! Additionally, we would get calls confirming an appointment, show up for front office to say that there isn't one! We would wait about 2 hours to be seen, once in the room would wait ANOTHER hour to see the dr and btw it's just the PA that sees you for all follow ups. Overall, this place has terrible scheduling issues that borderlines negligent patient care but hey - just double book the doctor and hope some patients no-show for the sake of collecting insurance money right? Terrible facility for these reasons. Save yourself and your loved one the trouble please.

Problem solved. I walked out wondering why on earth I hadn't done this years ago. Dr. Elle is very knowledgeable, funny, warm, and really good at explaining exactly what she's doing and why--which I appreciate, especially when someone is approaching my toe with sharp instruments. She made the whole experience so much easier (and far less dramatic) than I had imagined. Her office staff is also genuinely lovely--friendly, helpful, and welcoming. And as an artist, I have to give bonus points for the fabulous foot-themed artwork throughout the office. If you're going to devote your professional life to feet, you might as well fully commit to the décor. I honestly can't say enough good things about Dr. Elle. If you have an ingrown toenail or any foot and ankle issue and you've been putting off dealing with it, learn from me: GO. Don't spend years suffering because you've somehow convinced yourself this is just your life now. It doesn't have to be that way. Trust me now, believe me later. I experienced on and off pain and swelling on my right foot for around 3 months before deciding I had enough and told myself something is not normal. I was referred to her by my mother who used to closely work with her back then. at this point I was limping everywhere I go, every step was a struggle, taking stairs was a dose of torture, driving required extra extra effort. my big toe was red, swelling and painful I couldn't even take a proper step. Every appointment was a breeze and efficient from the start, Jazmin and Christina are very welcoming and Dr Farajian herself evaluated and personally talked to me about her treatment plan on my first visit, after getting my feet digitally scanned and x-rayed, sadly my Insurance did not cover any part of it upon verification, so I had to invest in myself out of pocket, and putting all my trust as a patient onto Dr. Farajian. Tiny to No pain, No surgery, No fear all throughout my treatment process, they worked with my work schedule too. I can confidently say now It is worth it, this time of writing is 3 weeks post-growth factor treatment and walking with my new insoles, still waiting for full recovery of my growth factor as advised and directed by Dr., so I am still taking it easy, but for now I am back to normal activities, ZERO pain, ZERO limping, ZERO struggles in walking, taking stairs, ladders, driving because every step feels and looks normal now. and of course no more swelling anywhere. I am leaving this review because I am truly happy and grateful to feel and move normal again. they deserve all kinds of love and positive energy for what they do changing people's lives thru their expertise and craft, just as myself transforming and restoring smiles everyday on my job as a Dental lab technician.
