Today, this exact day marks 3 years since my fibula surgery. Happy 3 year anniversary to my 6 screwed, 2 pin, 1 tightrope, terminator of a leg. I wanted to wait a little bit to give an honest review post the journey of healing. Verdict is, 10 stars to Dr. Chambers and his team if I could. Can I give this Doc and his team a few more stars? They're awesome! Dr. Chambers is very nice and his bedside manner could not make you anymore comfortable. He's very professional but I almost felt like I was talking to a friend. He also has a GREAT team behind him. Kirk, his x-ray tech does extremely thorough scans, His PA, Adam Baker is informative, answers any questions/concerns, and always gives you a detailed timeline for each appointment. Linda, who works front desk has ALWAYS been a great help with scheduling, processing paper work and administrative questions. My previous primary care doctor urged me to see a different surgeon and denied my request to be transferred to Dr. Chambers. I really wanted to see Dr. Chambers after hearing about someone else's experience. I called and Linda swooped in, talked to my insurance, helped my transfer request get approved at almost 5 in the evening and I was in Dr. Chambers's office the next morning. I came in because I injured myself while hiking. After scans and consultation, I was notified that I would be needing surgery. I had broken my fibula. He scheduled me for surgery, I was in within 3 days, he put my leg together and I was on my way! I really wanted to see Dr. Chambers was because many people had referred me to him. All I heard was how detailed he is and how his surgeries are known to have minimal scarring! If you're not queasy, my photos prove that is true. His medical staff that helped me get casted, splinted and cast removed are also all very, nice and gentle. I had to come back in because I re-injured my newly recovered leg. Luckily it was nothing too serious and everyone was happy to help me with any of my concerns. I have full range of motion and my leg is fully weight bearing. I get the occasional swelling after long day of physical activity but that is to be expected. I do want to mention, in my 30 years of life, I've only received compassionate medical care twice in my life and Dr. Chambers makes the cut. I he and the staff went above and beyond for me. I really can't say thank you enough, as I am back on my feet, completely feeling back to normal and put together. I can't say I wish to see everyone again, but if I ever need an orthopedist/orthopedic surgeon, I know exactly where to go! Dr. Chambers is great. I only met him once. There was no question he was trustful and experienced. My problem is w their office system. I made 2nd appointment a month ago after I met Dr C initially as he asked me to come see me after a month of physical therapy and w new CT scan, so I made it appt. A day before I visited for the 2nd, I called, and they said I only can see TA bc it is follow up visit- they only set up w TA. Say who? I am a patient, I made a Dr appointment, and now they are telling me it's their system to set up 2nd visit w TA, which I am paying for. They never told me it was a TA appt. Now their only available is June when I will be out of contry! My should injury was still painful after the accident 4 months ago, and I wanted to see the doctor for the best follow up advise w a new CT. Looks like I need a new doctor bc I can't seem to see him soon. Be very careful w their appointment!! You make a day off and come to see a doctor, you may just meet TA. I have had both neck and shoulder surgeries years ago and lately have been in a lot of pain. Wanted to get checked out to make sure nothing serious is going on. Since my original orthopedic surgeon no longer took my insurance I was referred. Today was my very first visit with Dr.Chambers. The facility is clean. I'm OCD and it passed my inspection. The staff is pleasant and humble. The wait time wasn't bad also they called me right after I finished the paperwork. Dr. Chambers himself is very professional - he was very busy but I could tell that he is organized and efficient in his field. Unfortunately, I had a large ganglion cyst on my right wrist that had grown so large that it was awkward, raised questions, and was borderline unwieldy. Plus, it was starting to hurt. Attached is a photo... look at that whopper!!! Once I made the decision it had to be completely removed (I had the fluid drained out about one year ago but it grew back), I contacted Dr. Chamber's office and they set me up right away for a preop with Dr. Chambers and Adam, his PA. Dr. Chambers and Adam were great and spent all the time answering my questions regarding general anesthesia and the surgical procedure. Shortly thereafter I was scheduled at La Veta Surgery Center. La Veta was extremely professional as well, and both outfits observed all proper COVID precautions. Dr. Chambers came out and talked to me before the surgery and again assured me that it would all go smoothly. Unlike some doctors I have come across, Dr. Chambers is extremely friendly, down to earth, and easy to talk to. The surgery went great!!! I actually found out that I had a nerve that was straddling the ganglion cyst which was likely what was causing the pain. The nurses and staff work with a lot of doctors and for all to agree that Dr. Chambers is hands down the best orthopedic surgeon - says alot. Besides, I figured if I needed surgery and was listed as his patient, I'd get treated extra special by the staff at the hospital since they all seem to love him. Being a healthcare professional myself and coming from a family of 6 doctors, I knew how to tell if someone really understood their area of specialty and wanted to take care of you or somehow slept through medical school. Dr. Chambers truly cares for his patients. He really knows his stuff and will explain the anatomy as well as whats going on with your knee. I recently visited Dr. Chambers at Coastline Orthopaedic and am so glad I did! For the past year I had been experiencing sharp shoulder/rotator cuff pain from playing competitive tennis. I tried ignoring it and playing through the pain but eventually it became unbearable and I knew I needed professional help. When I arrived at Coastline Orthopaedics I knew I was in good hands. The waiting room was very clean and the check-in process was efficient. I shortly met with Dr. Chambers and he assured me we would get to the root of the problem with my shoulder. Overall, the Coastline Orthopedic office has been great to me. Dr. Tift is INCREDIBLY sweet and the PA Adam is very friendly and helpful. I am a very active 47 year old male who likes to surf, workout and play golf. I had a large sized tear of my rotator cuff which was caused by a bone spur that I had removed 15 years ago. In addition, I also had a torn labrum. I was completely inable to play golf, workout or surf and was experiencing major pain. Dr. Chambers had a very difficult task at hand with multiple complications. He had to use four triple loaded bone anchors to repair the rotator cuff tear plus detach my bicep tendon, remove the bad portion of labrum and then reattached my tendon to my humerus. His specialized shoulder training at the School of Special Surgery in NY, degree from Columbia and experience at UCLA as chief resident gave me the confidence he knew what he was doing, not to mention the number of similar surgeries he has under his belt. The surgery was almost 3 hours. My physical therapist, Bryan at HBPTS (also an amazing therapist) was very realistic with me about the expectations for healing, this was a tough surgery and I really didn't have a good plan B. I needed to strictly follow Dr Chambers guidelines. Dr Chambers and his staff were just wonderful. Dr Chambers personally followed up with me on multiple occasions as I was recovering. To be quite honest, the recovery was difficult. Besides work, it was my main focus for 5 months. I am happy to say that I am doing extremely well after 10 months. I am back to surfing again and am playing excellent golf. My physical therapist just said yesterday - "this is the best possible outcome I could have imagined given the severity of your injury." Dr Chambers is an excellent surgeon, if you pair him up with a great PT and DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU, I hope you will have a similar outcome. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. My 12 year-old gymnast daughter injured her knee in September 2018 and subsequently multiple times. Found Dr. Chambers through an Internet search. I was looking for a shoulder specialist for what I thought was a rotator cuff tear and turned out to be a shoulder impingement with bicep tendinitis. Really impressed with the office staff and Dr. Chambers. I was called to the examining room, within five minutes of my arrival. Five minutes after intake, I was taken to x-ray, and within 10 minutes after that I was talking to Dr. Chambers with my x-rays in hand. He efficiently answered all my questions, and we agreed upon a course of action. His nurse came in immediately and set up the equipment for the cortisone shots, then he came in and administered it. I think I was in and out of there with diagnosis and treatment, in under 45 minutes. This practice is run with military precision but with warm patient care . Highly recommend. read more

I tore the meniscus in my left knee approximately three years ago however had to put off getting it fixed until recently due to job requirements. Needless to say, putting it off for so long only exacerbated the damage and left me in a far worse place than I was back when I first damaged the knee. I have run into surgeons the minute they realize no surgery is necessary they could care less about the patients well being. My injuries never changed to another area I came in complaining that I couldn't lift my arm that my shoulder was in excruciating pain and basically the Dr kept arguing that it wasn't my shoulder or collarbone meanwhile my collarbone/clavicle was clicking and popping.He kept insisting it was my neck. It's been well over 2 years the last MRI I did this time with contrast since I did more than 1 was a possible tear in the clavicle area and narrowing of the AC joint.. The same issue I came in with and no injuries don't suddenly move to another area that's absolutely ridiculous. No surgery has been done and I've been rehabilitating my injury for over 2 years. The last Dr I went to Russell Pietre only suggested steroids in the shoulder if I couldn't control the pain he was very much into trying other options first. If ever I need a surgeon for shoulder area I will go to him. Since my biggest issue is with my clavicle only a handful of surgeons even handle this area I'm choosing to deal with the popping out of place and clicking by continuing to strengthen around the injury. read more

Very disappointed with this office. Went to Dr Chambers due to the high yelp reviews. If there was a zero star choice that is what he would be receiving. The office according to the dr had a fax machine upgrade thus was not able to receive MRI reports. Dr. Chambers reviewed the MRI CD I brought from the image center since he asked claiming many times reports miss issues. He continued on saying he's very experienced with reviewing images. And when he receives the report he will contact me if the report says otherwise. He released me saying nothing was wrong and gave me a PT script for some basic shoulder exercises. But nothing torn. I finally called the image center myself for a report and it documented 3 issues including a tear near rotator! The PT office whom I provided a copy of the MRI report also said the PT script Dr. Chambers wrote was inconsistent with the MRI report. Beware, I wonder how many other misdiagnosed cases due to his error had lead to more severe orthopedic diagnosis thus why the office is so full of very severe ortho patients! I called the office to inform them of the misdiagnose and Dr. Chambers had the audacity of lying that he told me of the tear when I have evidence in the PT script of his inaccurate diagnosis. Really lying instead of being professional about his 3 errors 1) operating without a functional fax to receive reports, 2) misreading CD images 3) lying which is a violation of his medical license oath! read more

Wow this is truly the review that will never end. I am now 11 months post op on shoulder surgery on my rotator cuff, bicep tendon and AC joint. I began feeling pain in March after stopping PT with the approval of Adam, PA, because I was having back surgery March 2022. I attempted to reach someone at the office, which can take hours or never, and, as always, is very annoying. Finally I reached Adam after my back surgery and he said I should get an MRI. In May I got an MRI. I tried calling about the results, but as always could not get through. In June I saw my spine surgeon and he said, with the caveat that he is not a shoulder doctor, that it looked like something was there possibly in rotator cuff area. My spine surgeon said he would try to reach Dr Chambers. Got a call from Adam and he prescribed steroids. Said MRI was fine. Still in pain I had my pain management doctor look at MRI. He showed me where there was a part of a muscle that was atrophying. I needed to be back in PT right away so I didn't lose the range of motion I had gained. Still couldn't get through to Chambers office. My spine surgeon, the best doc anywhere and his PA and office staff too, said stop back PT and HE prescribed shoulder PT, which I started last week. I have decided to go to another shoulder doctor and get a consult. Even if I lived in Orange County, that would not help getting through to have conversation with Adam or Dr Chambers. This has been most frustrating and I believe unnecessary! One more thing. When I saw Dr Chambers at my first post op appointment, the first words out if his mouth were "you gave me a bad Yelp review." Didn't ask how I was feeling or how my arm was doing. He convinced me to re-write my review, which I did. I now take that back. Hopefully I will not be writing anymore reviews of this doctor or his office. read more
