I had a wonderful experience today at Dillard's. I was lucky to go when there were so many sales going on that I didn't know about. The staff was helpful with choosing my dresses and very personable. I wish I had gotten her name, she was delightful, helped me pick clothing that looked best on me instead of what was more expensive. I ended up with two dresses and a pair of beautiful shoes. Wow! It's a shopping dreamland. They have the BEST shoe department and a great bag selection. I love that I can find the same fashions that I see in all my monthly mags without having to order online and have thing shipped to me. I'll NEVER shop here again. They make you go to the exact department you purchased your item at for all returns...so if you purchased 10 items in different departments you can't return them in one place. They make you do the legwork and go to each individual department on where you purchased your item...down to the brand! I had to drive to 2 locations because the men's and women's sections are in two different buildings. In order just to do three returns it took me 45 minutes! NEVER AGAIN. Dillards has just lost a customer of 30 years. read more

My boyfriend got very blatantly racially profiled while we were shopping for a suit. Employees were looking us up and down while giving us dirty looks. The old white employee was walking passed a younger employee and I overheard him say, "he's not going to buy anything". read more

I went in looking for a nice pair of boots. Something a little dressy and casual too. I was impressed by the selection in the men's shoes. They carried some very nice and classy dress to casual shoes. The gentleman in this department was very easy going and let me browse about with out badgering me ( I prefer that). When I actually did need help, he was very quick to get some of the boots I was interested in. Both pairs were very different in price. One pair being twice as much as the other pair. The gentleman did not try to persuade me either way. He just let me pick without trying to up sell me. It was the perfect shopping experience! I hate shopping and I like to pick what I want and get out. When I decide to get another pair of boots or shoes, I'll be going back to Dillard's. read more

This Dillards is a men's store so everything inside is for us guys. Next door you'll find the separate women's building. I have to say I really love the concept given the abundance of clothing options and shops for women. Dillard's carries a variety of name brand clothing at fair market prices. On weekends I tend to find the best sales and deals being offered. I can't think of a time I have had to pay full price for anything here. The mens dress shoe selection is of great quality offer up such brands as Johnston and Murphy, Kenneth Cole, Clarks etc. It isn't rare to find deals anywhere from 20-40% off. read more

If you look hard enough, you will find pretty brand name clothes/shoes for a significantly lowered price. But, as I said, if you look hard enough. There is a huge collection of all brands, sizes, styles, colors, and shape for you to choose from. Just be patient and willing to spend some time looking. read more

I have always gone to Dillard's at Winrock for bra fittings. I went last night like normal, the lady working did not look professional for the setting. In all fairness, she seemed to to having a bad evening. There were about four of us needing service. I was waiting in line to tell her I needed a fitting. She looked at me and did not acknowledge my existence. Not a smile, nod, hello, I will be right with you...nothing. I left. The lady in line asked if she had to check out there or could she go to another register as we had waited in line for 10-15 minutes for her to get one lady checked out with her three item purchase and not computer problems other than the customer did not want an emailed receipt. The employee mumbled it was preferred if she checked out in lingerie. I turned around and told her that I have checked out in other departments. The lady went o makeup and checked out. I have not ever been so disappointed in customer service at Dillard's like this and I have been ignored in their shoe department before. Needless to say, I no longer purchase shoes in their shoe department at Winrock store. I am seeing a trend at the Dillard's at Winrock and it is disappointing. read more

My wife and I like the merchandise offered by the Dillards store here in Albuquerque, enough that we were willing to pay the high prices charged. What we were not willing to tolerate was the performance of the Wells Fargo bank that handles Dillards' credit card services. The bank was supposed to remove a late charge applied incorrectly to our account. Instead, it started posting late charges and penalties for not paying the original late charge. When I realized that the last payment I'd made (about $75.00) was not for merchandise purchased, but for the incorrectly applied fees, I contacted the bank. The Wells Fargo person I spoke to was not interested in crediting our account for the mistaken payments and said there still was money owed on our account. (A small amount -- under $5.00). The rep insisted I pay it, and seemed all too happy to 1). take down my credit card information to collect that last amount and 2). cancel our Dillard's account. Won't be shopping there anymore. Not until the company has a better billing and accounting service. read more

I bought a pair of $160 boots in July as a birthday gift for my daughter in November, she didn't like them and I took them back and was told by a manager "30 days return policy no exceptions". I am a retail manager and know that they can sell the boots, I called customer service was given the name of a manager but was told no managers were there on a Saturday. I am so glad Nordstrom is opening here and will never go back again. I have spent a lot of money there but will get my BobbibBrown and Mac make up online from now on I will never go in that store again. read more

I have lived in Albuquerque and shopped at this Dillard's since 1977. It is my go to store for just about everything. Their sales are amazing and I have never had a bad experience with a sales person. I am grateful for this level of a department store here in town and hope it never closes!! read more

Dillard's shoppers beware! Dillard's doesn't stand by the merchandise they sell. I treated myself to a nice designer bag (Brahmin) for my birthday. I purchased the bag from the Dillard's at Winrock on 12/14/18. On 1/15/19 the strap broke. Since that was a Tuesday I couldn't take it back to the store until Saturday 1/19/19 -- receipt in hand. Because I was beyond the 30-day return policy they would not refund or exchange my handbag or give me store credit. Nothing. The manager I spoke with said "it's policy." The purse strap broke just hours past the return policy deadline and Dillard's would not make any exception to the 30-day return policy, however, I am "welcome to return it to the manufacturer who should repair it for me." Seriously?! I was, apparently a day late and totally screwed. I shop at Dillard's A LOT, correction used to shop at Dillard's A LOT. I will not be shopping anymore and neither will may family. What they will lose in sales from just me and my family will far exceed the $375 it would have cost them to keep me happy. When we add in my friends who I am asking to forego shopping at Dillard's... Really really bad customer relations and a seriously bad business decision. I give one star because the sales clerk had the good taste to be apologetic. read more
