Very honest and straight shooting. We have a dishwasher that keeps throwing the circuit breaker in the house. Mr. Dillard came out and quickly diagnosed the issue. He was honesty with us in saying it would be cheaper to buy a new dishwasher than to put money into repairs (as ours is a "builder's grade" (low-end) model. My Whirlpool refrigerator was no longer making ice in the lower freezer drawer. David was quick to reply to my message and came out to assess the situation within 48 hours. The fill line needed to be replaced, so David ordered a new one and had it fixed ASAP. His level of expertise and professionalism was excellent. $100 for bad advice. $175 to have the dryer vent cleaned. $275 and my dryer still isn't fixed. I am so disappointed.

I had a particularly odd issue with my Samsung dryer. Long story short, it started out to be a broken heating element (dryer wasn't heating up) but once we replaced that, we got an error code, and after looking at every single you tube video in existence, and reading every repair manual we could find, we ended up replacing every component in the dryer, including the motherboard. We took the dryer apart and re assembled it a total of 8 times. The issue still isn't fixed. We're at a loss, and have put a great deal of time and money into the dryer at this point. We were really worried about a repair person coming out to look at it, charging us their fees, buying parts we have already replaced and tested, only to end up in the same place we are now. We called David at Dillard's Appliance repair and he listened to my entire story, what we have done, what we replaced, etc. After spending 15-20 minutes on the phone with me, he concluded I did everything he would have done, and that he has seen this before on the exact same dryer. It's a Samsung ghost in the machine that no one, including Samsung Engineers can resolve. We are very appreciative of David's time, his willingness to hear me out, and his honesty about the chances of getting the issue fixed. Although I didn't require his repair services this time, I will absolutely use him in the future when I need an appliance repaired. Was very impressed with this company. Our dryer went out and I have been calling around to get it serviced. David called me back very quickly and before booking an appointment, he had me go look up the model of dryer so he could check for parts instead of coming out to check them himself. Unfortunately, parts for our dryer are not available, but I was impressed that someone would help diagnose the problem and let me know that it can't be fixed without trying to get a service call out of it. read more

Another company came out and quoted me $900 to repair my refrigerator. I called Dillard's and he immediately told he that repair shouldn't be more than $450. As the refrigerator began working again, he recommended waiting until it malfunctioned again. Kudos to this man- highly ethical and honest! read more

I emailed company after hours on Wednesday and received a reply in 1 1/2 hours. Wow! David Dillard called next day at my request after Noon (husband works nights & we sleep in). Made appointment for Friday morning. Mr. Dillard called before arriving. Love that. He was professional, personable and expedient. Unfortunately old washer and part isn't available anymore. So new washer necessary. Mr. Dillard gave me advice on current brands and local businesses to go to. I will recommend him to friends and use in the future. P.S. I contacted another company also. Same way- email on their website. Never received a call back. Glad though other company had horrible reviews for customer service. Definitely using Dillard's again. read more
