Poor Communication I…read morecontacted this company to install two smoke alarms at one of our rental homes. The technician came out and said the whole system needed to be checked, then claimed that three alarms were required instead of two -- without notifying me, the landlord. Later, the owner called and admitted there was a communication issue. Then he called again, saying that to install two more, I would need to pay another $150 trip charge, plus the cost of the two additional units. This experience showed very poor communication. They even told my tenants that more smoke alarms needed to be replaced, which was not true. When I visited the property myself, I confirmed the home was built in 2017, and most of the smoke alarms are still under the 10-year manufacturer warranty, so they do not need replacement. The story kept changing, and it felt like they were more interested in adding unnecessary charges than standing by their word. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
