    I came to Dillards to return a product I bought from Mac. But, because I didn't have my debit card on me I was told I could only get a gift receipt. Well, I found some shoes that had a 65% tag on it, but when it rung up at 40% I showed the lady that it has a 65% off tag on the shoe. She was going to honor it, but wanted to call a manager first. The manager April said she could only give me 10% on top of the 40%, because it wouldn't allow her to override 65%. But, I know that she had the capability to do it. She just chose not to honor Dillards mistake. I explained to her that if something is marked incorrect that Dillards has to honor it. I also told her to pull camera, because I'm sure she thought I did it. I won't be shopping at Dillards anymore

    There is Jody (blonde) telling her staff to place the dress in the lost and found pile.

    If I could give them a zero I would. Purchased a dress on 3/5 for an event went home and tried it on and did not like the way the dress fit nor looked with my shoes so I decided to wear a different dress. Tried returning the dress on 3/10 and immediately was approached with rude employees stating that the dress had been worn and they could not take it back I asked to speak to a manager and they stated that she was not there. I requested for their corporate number and was provided it, Called their corporate office and was provided with the District Manager name I contacted him and he stated that he would return my call once he did he asked that I go upstairs and ask for Jody the Manager that was supposedly not there. Went upstairs explained to her the situation she went as to far as to say that the tags were altered and that's not how they tag their clothes. She stated that she would not accept the return. I gave the dress back and kept my receipt. This is by far the worse customer service from staff, manager and district manager. María, Jody and David. Including two cashiers. Just friendly advise don't try on anything and try to return it and definitely will not ever be back to purchase anything in the future. All this boils down to is pure racism. Disputing this directly with my bank now.

    As much negative I hear about Town East Mall for being "ghetto"...its nice to have anchor stores that deliver the quality merchandise without the "snooty attitude". That's Dillard's in Town East. Excellent selection of merchandise, very friendly staff. Sure they may not have the other "couture" stores in this mall...but who needs it when there is Dillard's. Expect friendly service, good prices and great selection.

    I've had one of my best shopping experiences this Macy's! I had the luck working with this AWESOME…read moreLady named "Divina". FYI, I'm a guy that goes in to a store to buy what I need...that's it. So, I tend not to buy outfits...meaning, I don't look for shirts that may go with my pants or vice versa. Well, this Lady noticed that I was struggling as I was trying to decide which pair of pants to buy. She took charge and advised me of possible choices that were better fits for my type of body. Man, I never expected this type of service at a Macy's! During my fitting, Divina would bring me sweaters that would go with the pants that I was trying out. Let me tell you, this Lady knows style!!! After trying out several outfits, I decided to buy ALL of the choices that she had gotten for me. Note: Even though I'm not a fan of this Mall, I will be returning to Macy's for the AWESOME service that they provide. Note: All of my selections where a great hit with my wife. :)

If you use "Star Money" points on a purchase and later have to return your items, their system breaks down and shortchanges your actual cash. On a total out-of-pocket spend of roughly $60 across two items, their system only refunded me approximately $50 when I returned everything. An online supervisor admitted the glitch but refused a manual fix because of my lack of "prior purchase history." Do not fall for the Star Money trap--their system will steal your hard-earned credit card funds on a 100% complete return. Macy's Corporate needs to fix this error and refund my account.
