    Lonestar w/chips & queso
    Amber P.

Fast food, great flavor. First time here, I tried the lonestar. Food came out fast, restaurant was clean and staff was nice. I'll be back to try a few more combos.

Large Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla served with seasoned fries and citrus corn salad, along with chilled limeade and Orange Crush.

These are the best quesadillas on the planet. I thought the one in Plano, Texas was really good, but this location was even better!

This place sucks, they never give me my jalapeño ranch. The old man at the counter is on something for sure.

The girls at the register should smile or at least don't act like they hate it there. The food is good.

Guacamole show was delicious and came with a variety of fresh salsas to try. Really appreciated the small, focused menu and attention to quality. My favorite bite hands down was the Gringas Al Pastor tacos. The grilled pineapple on it was just *chefs kiss*. The Biste tacos were okay. Also tried the Camaron and although the shrimp was great I think they were overshadowed by the ratio of mixed greens. Another highlight was the wonderful speed and professional service by our waiter Fordham, very impressed. Clean bathroom. Was a little less impressed when I asked to be seated not 2 feet away from a family with several fussy children and was met with a kind of a scowl and "I'll see if that can work" on an empty patio otherwise. Just wanted a peaceful atmosphere and more of a choice of where we were seated would've been nice. But overall great experience and will return.

The fresh theme continues with the chips and salsa. All of it's made in house, and these were some of the best chips and salsa I've had in a while. The chips are a light and thin and a little bit tricky to dip without breaking. Two sauces, green and red, are provided and each tastes--not to belabor the term-- fresh. The chile relleno is served on its own in a soup bowl with a light sauce and choice of protein on the outside. The poblano pepper itself is stuffed with cheese, as is proper for chile relleno. Again the sauce, the chili itself, and all the ingredients tasted fresh and light. Unlike most Mexican places, rice and beans is brought on a separate plate and not merged with whatever primary entree you've selected. Here again, fresh: there is rice that's almost like a basmati, and refried black beans that are refreshing change from the typical pinto bean base. Service is prompt, knowledgeable and attentive. I had the pleasure of having Angelo for my waiter. The restaurant staff is predominantly Hispanic, the kind of folks ICE likes to round up. (I really hope this reference become dated real fast). The point is these folks are familiar with Mexican food beyond just the concept of this restaurant. The clientele appears to be primarily local and a steady stream of them were coming through at 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon. Access is convenient from i-49 and not too far from I-20.

The area is very new and modern and is very nice for Shreveport. Their food is very tasty across the board; their salsa's are legit and it seems like well prepared. Then another lady came and the cashier told her in Spanish what I ordered. The lady turned to me and asked beef, then I said no chicken and I said pollo. She said ok. I get my order and left without checking the bag, they had it tied up and I figured it would be right. When I got home realized it was beef. I called the # on receipt & a guy answered & just said hello. I asked is this the restaurant and he said yes. I told him what happened and he offered to remake it. It had already started drizzling outside but I still was going to go pick it up. Then 5min later the weather had gotten real bad. I call the guy back & told I will not be able to come because the weather was too bad unless they were going to deliver it. I asked can he just put my name down for later that day or another day to get order redone. He said they already remade it, I told him I'm not taking a risk and driving out in this weather for food. He just kept saying we already made it and his worker told him I said beef. I told him that was a lie and he could either put me down for a remake on a later date or refund me. He just repeated again it was already made and hung up in my face. The person that speaks poor English shouldn't be the person that take orders. So unprofessional how this was handled. I paid with my card & gave a tip on a to go order. But since they want to be rude & not resolve the issue they just might loose money on false orders in near future, lol. I can be rude too. I blocked the charge.
