Carlos and Victor remodeled my entire bathroom, removing and reinstalling new tile, a vanity, mirror, light fixture, toilet and other bathroom accessories in addition to spackling and painting. From start to finish, Carlos demonstrated an extreme attention to detail and a genuine commitment to making sure everything was done properly. He does not cut corners, and he takes the time to do things the right way even when it requires extra effort. For example, he noticed that my bathroom floor was not properly leveled, something that could have easily been overlooked or simply worked around. Instead, he took the time to correct the problem and make sure everything was properly leveled before continuing with the project. He even painted door trim outside of my bathroom to make sure it transitioned well with the bathroom, something that was not his responsibility. That level of care and thoroughness is exactly what you hope for in a contractor. The spackling and painting were absolutely immaculate. I have hired professional painters in the past who did not come close to the quality of the paint job Carlos delivered. Painting is 90% prep work: sanding and spackling. You can tell when a contractor understands the difference prep work makes, and Carlos and his group certainly does. Carlos and his crew were also kind, respectful, professional, and a pleasure to have working in my home. They were extremely conscientious about keeping everything clean throughout the project. In fact, I commented to my husband that my house looked cleaner after they left than it did before they started! Another thing that really stood out to me was the pricing. His prices are more than fair considering the quality of work, attention to detail, and level of care he provides. You TRULY feel that Carlos takes pride in his work and wants his customers to be completely satisfied with the finished product. It is VERY rare to find that these days. I could not be happier with the work C&N Construction LLC did for me. Matt's was one of several estimates I sought, and pricing was all over the place. Matt's bid was competitive and fair, and he demonstrated a depth of knowledge and familiarity that made me immediately comfortable hiring him. Due to scheduling conflicts with another contractor installing a deck for me, I threw Matt a few curveballs. At least twice I had to ask him to move his start date, and when his team did arrive, the deck contractors were totally in his way. Throughout, Matt was patient and focused on his work. The guys he brought with him worked tirelessly over four days to excavate, remove old materials, prepare proper drainage missing from the old wall, rebuild the wall with new EP Henry pavers and regrade the area around the new wall - as well as around my driveway. Matt and his crew went above and beyond, doing extra regrading work not included in his estimate at no additional charge. And they cleaned up the work area at the end of the job beautifully. I did my yearly trip up into my attic to get down our Xmas stuff. There was a light rain falling…read moreoutside. As I retrieved the Xmas stuff I noticed a puddle of water on the attic flooring. When I looked up I could see water dripping from the underside of my roof. The weather forecast didn't look good for someone having a leaking roof. A Northeaster was heading our way with tons of rain and was due to hit in a few days (12/9/14). I called Joe at Collegeville Construction and asked if he could quickly get over to fix the leak before the big rains came. Joe promised he would get there before the rains. He made good on his promised and showed up exactly at the time promised and fixed the leak. While he was on the roof he repaired not only the original leak but replaced a missing part of a shingle.
