I have been coming to rosy downstairs for about a decade now and don't think I could ever switch. I came in to her with over tweeted thin eyebrows and after 6 months she made them what they should be, thick enough and a great shape. She doesn't just thread it all away, first she tweezes, cuts, then threads and always checks to make sure they are perfection. She is strict about people being late, but hey isn't anyone in the professional world?! "eye brow shaping is an art," Rosey corrected me when i was informing her i have not liked how i use to clean up my eyebrows. Its not about cleaning up its about shaping up, to paraphrase her. She sounded extremely confidante in her craft, which left me a little intimated, but assured she will not jack up my brows! Plus the photos in the room also boosted her amazing skills. I was very very lucky that she took me in today because she has a strict appointment only system and works on people systematically in 10 minute increments ( make an appointment at least 3 days in advance). Lucky for me someone did not show up and she took me :)!!! And my eyebrows look so amazing now, i wish i took a photo of my eyebrows before for a before and after. She says in about 6 months she will get a good shape for me and i am finally happy to have nice eyebrows!!!!! also the girls who work with her are very nice :) read more

Love Rosie's! She knows what she's doing, she's careful, and never late. She knows what shape of eyebrows compliments the face. She is strict, but has a sense of humor about it. Well, one day after I basically chopped half my left eyebrow off , I made an appointment with their Rosy . My life has never been the same ! if I could give this place zero stars I would...I have been coming to ROSY for the past three years and the level of disrespect you get treated by a person you're paying is disgusting. Rosy treats you like a second class citizen. She berates you and yells at you if you're five minutes late and requires you to pay more, but she does the same if you're five minutes early!! Today my appointment was scheduled for 2 pm..I arrived at 1:50 knowing Rosy's ridiculous policy, she screamed at me and told me she's on lunch till two pm and then left me on my own. I was digested. I left, she then left a voicemail yelling at me that if I am late for my two pm she will charge me five dollars more. I have NEVER in my life been treated this way by a someone in the beauty industry. Do yourself a favor and go else where for eyebrows! read more

This place is over priced, the owner while giving a haircut dropped his comb, picked it up and continued using using it, gross! He stopped in the middle of a haircut twice to talk on his cell phone, unprofessional! The girl washing hair gives you a bath and chats to coworkers while doing so. They reuse dirty towels, I would not recommend this place to cut a dogs hair. read more

Had a great experience! Walked in on my way home from work and was immediately seen. They were quick but made sure the job was done well. The person assisting (who washed and blow dried my hair) and the stylist were clearly experienced. And on top of that, everyone was very pleasant! read more

My first time coming here I did not make an appointment. I assume it was a walk in salon so they asked me to come in the next day at 11:30am. Just as I walked out I see a guy from the salon telling me to come back in so I went in. He asked me what I wanted. I had a really bad haircut just before and I told him I just wanted a fix. Since it was simple he allowed it and started working on my hair right away. He's really nice and tries to start conversation. You can tell after a few minutes he definitely knows what he's doing. After it was done, I was completely satisfied with my haircut I did not think my bad haircut could be fixed but he did it. Thought it is suppose to cost $45 without wash he only charged me $40. I was so happy I gave him $8 tips. He gave me his card and his name is John. I believe he is the owner of the salon. This place seems great and looked busy with lots of customers. I would definitely go again. I don't know how the other stylist are but I'll just stick with John and I'll make sure to make an appointment next time. read more

Davina B - I've gone to DiMaggio as have several people I know and there's never been an issue. Loud? Yes, try talking over blowdryers and running water and other people talking. Treating you different if you're "non -white"? I find that very hard to believe because when I was there last I was there for a while since I had 3 kids getting their hair cut, and I saw several differentraces walk in and everyone was treated well. I have never tried my hair upstairs,but rosey has been doing my eyebrows for 2 years. Im the pickiest person alive when it comes to my eyebrows, like idk literally rather have my hair all uneven over my eyebrows any day. She books eyebrows every 10min, so you better make sure you're on time, not a minute late, or else she'll make you wait a while. You can either call or text to make appts which is great because its convenient. My eyebrows always look great after she does them. Also,when booking an appt, make sure u book at least 3 weeks in advance, and over a month in advance before the holidays!! She does great exotic makeup as well. I came when I was 21 and had practically no eyebrows due to years and years of terrible waxing! She was recommended to me by over 5 different girls so I decided to give it a shot. 3 years later my eyebrows have transformed! I have shape, arch, definition, and growth.
