Lovely restaurant with a great outdoor area, full of plants and even a hammock. I met my friends for lunch, and since it was very hot and the middle of the day, we decided to sit inside. Later in the afternoon or evening, sitting outside would probably be perfect. I ordered the meatballs appetizer, and the portion was big enough to work as a full meal, so I didn't order anything else. Both of my friends enjoyed their meals too, and we shared a waffle with ice cream for dessert and it was delicious! The service was great, and the overall vibe of the place was relaxed and cozy. The background music is just right; not too loud and tasteful choices. My husband ordered fish tacos and I ordered linguine with vegan sausage. We drove up from South Florida and were starving so we inhaled our food, sorry no pictures. I had the Mutton Snapper pan seared with a lemon butter sauce, it was delicious. It came with wild rice and Brussel sprouts those were good. The hubs had the Bourbon shrimp and grits amazing! We had to try the Hot Apple cider with a shot of whiskey so good! We chose to dine at Faded Bistro last Friday, and it was, unfortunately, the most underwhelming experience I've had since arriving in Florida. The outdoor area was poorly maintained, and the seating area lacked cleanliness and appeal. We waited about 10 minutes before another couple was seated behind us--and they were served drinks and had their order taken before anyone came to our table. I ordered the blackened grouper tacos, which were neither blackened nor fully cooked, and the tacos lacked any seasoning. My boyfriend's steak also lacked seasoning. Considering the price point, the quality was very disappointing. I cannot recommend Faded Bistro until they significantly improve. read more

The Sunday brunch includes bottomless mimosas, which is a real treat. The setting includes a lot of natural flora and tiki tents, so sitting outside is highly recommended.
