I love coming to Dine Restaurant every chance I get to enjoy the most delicious Navajo food. My favorite is between the Navajo Taco and the Mutton Stew W/fry bread. Absolutely delicious! The service is always stellar and service is always with a smile. You can't feel but welcomed in the warm friendly atmosphere. They had a flyer announcing June 11, 2026 was going to be a mutton buffet. Definitely coming from Albuquerque for this. read more

Food was okay and our server was good! Hated the pass code you have to enter before restroom door opens. The front desk person asks if your eating in the restaurant when she sees you standing there to be seated. I wouldn't recommend eating here. Go to the next town. read more

Amazing to have a nice little eatery in the Navajo Nation Capital, this restaurant has better than average service, food, and decor than most of the local joints. Please try the Navajo Taco and order it upside down so the fry bread doesn't get soggy. I like ground beef only, no beans, in my taco. You can order red and green chile sauce, Christmas. Kayteri, our server, was excellent, very attentive. We also had the beef stew with the green chile on the side. It was pretty decent. Ask for honey for the fry bread. read more

I simply cannot say enough about this place. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Especially Kara. This young lady has to be the best server we have seen. We have been visiting the area every other week due to some family matters and we have eaten here several times and stayed in the Quality Inn adjacent to the restaurant. The building definitely looks dated. However don't let that fool you. Bcz this is a great place to stay and eat. We have had the breakfast buffet and we have had lunch and everything is great. This past visit I tried the enchiladas with beans and rice. I was skeptical Bcz I prefer California Mexican food. I've never cared for southwest style Mexican food. But this was really good. I was very surprised. I tried a Mexican restaurant in Gallup NM. recently and it was not good at all. But I thoroughly enjoyed this one! This place definitely gets 5 stars Kudos to the management for putting together this amazing staff. We will be frequent visitors. read more

Horrible horrible horrible bland food! My husband had the Navajo taco and the fry bread was limp and soggy, the beans had not been drained and it all just created a taco soup with soggy lettuce within the time it took to get from the kitchen to the table. The salsa had good flavor. I had the fry bread French dip. The roast beef was super tender, the fry bread was cheesy and I had to open the thing up to find the cheese. It needed green chiles or onion or something... and the "au jus" was the color of chicken soup and had less flavor. Pass this place by. You're almost to Gallup. Your odds are better there. read more

It's our second time here this week. Good to be back @ a table here on the Rez. Servers here are cordial and courteous, drinks stay full. I love their veggie burrito with no cheese and wrapped in tortilla. The taste is satisfying and they are generous in the serving which dictates the price. That's the only item I eat here. Living a healthy lifestyle is the end goal, you are what you eat. read more

I love this restaurant. I have been coming here ever since I was a small child. The food is consistently good. The employees are fantastic, quick, and super nice. I cannot recommend coming here enough. I am so glad that I was able to stop by and get an updated menu and some updated hours of operation post pandemic. For those who are interested, they are usually operating until 7:30 PM. I've also included a picture of the updated menu. I wanted to stop in the capitol of Diné (Navajo) Nation, so it worked out that we were starving for lunch right as we pulled in to this restaurant. (On a side note, I wonder if this is the "Navajo Inn" in authors Tony/Anne Hillerman's novels about detectives Leaphorn and Chee...which we were listening to on Audible the whole way here!). The folks at the restaurant were super nice, and this was some of the biggest food we had on our entire trip! Of course, I had to order the Navajo Taco. It was wholly different than the ones you can get on the roadside stands, but this was a hearty meal of beans, ground beef. and taco fixings, all on a large, pillowy fry bread. It's local fare, and I highly recommend trying it if you're in the area. They gave us massive to-go cups and were generous with refills, plus very friendly. I found some great gifts at the hotel gift shop, which I didn't expect, and we enjoyed the beautiful little garden courtyard outside. The Window Rock itself is worth a glance, so definitely make a stop if you're in the area! Ahéhee' to all the staff here for being so awesome! read more

I went to this location for breakfast on the weekend, not knowing it was on Yelp. Besides having a menu to order from, you have the option to eat their breakfast buffet. The buffet comes with fresh cut fruit, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, denver eggs, french toast sticks, oatmeal, blue corn mush, mutton, danishes, tortilla, fry bread, cereal bar, and a few other items. Pros: Service was pretty good. The waitress was good about refilling my coffee and there was a big variety of options. I really liked the french toast sticks and blue corn mush. It was my first time trying the blue corn mush. It is kind of like grits, but made of...blue corn. There was also a large variety of cereals to choose from, various fresh fruits, and the food was always well stocked. Cons: The scrambled eggs were watery and bland. I had a free breakfast buffet ticket and was told by the waitress that it was actually just a discount coupon and would have to pay. I finished my meal, and then I got to counter, waiting to pay for a couple minutes. Then, I found out that I actually didn't have to pay for the meal. Besides the fruit, there weren't many other healthy options outside of the blue corn mush and oatmeal. read more

Had dinner at the restaurant as we were staying one night in the motel. The atmosphere is quaint, food is pretty standard diner style with the addition of Navajo tacos. Flat bread was good, meal was bland. Server was trying to work the whole place alone so he was by necessity a bit absent. read more

What a pleasant surprise! I'm used to same old free breakfast food at the hotel chains and when I saw traditional Navajo food being served for breakfast my mouth started watering. I had corn stew with mutton and they werent chintzy with the mutton either, blue corn mush and a fresh tortilla. So delicious! The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed Saturday night at the hotel and had planned on dinner in the on-site Diné restaurant, but unfortunately found that they closed at 6 p.m. on weekends. (Really!) But it was made up for by the excellent breakfast buffet, which included standard American hot breakfast fare such as sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, along with local Navajo specialties including blue corn porridge, mutton and fry bread. It was a Sunday morning and the restaurant was packed with local families out for breakfast. Pleasant atmosphere, exceptional service, and good food and lots of it. read more

If you're looking for Diné Restaurant, you have to head inside of the Quality Inn to find it. I had the blue cornmeal pancakes and they were excellent! Full of flavor that made me want more. Just to note, the short stack is actually three pancakes (I'm used to that being two), so you'll get a bit more here. They're big! A short stack and a side of bacon filled up me and my mother; they were kind enough to separate the short stack for us onto separate plates without us even asking. Speaking of the bacon, it was excellent, cooked just right! Some of the least greasy bacon I've had. Also, the service was excellent, as I've found it to be in general in Navajo Nation. Ephriam gave us excellent service! If you're in Window Rock, definitely check this place out. You don't have a lot of options in the area, so this place definitely stands out. read more

The Dine Restaurant is inside the Quality Inn. They have good food, with huge servings. You cannot walk out hungry. I've had the Navajo taco, which is a taco ingredients on top of frybread. Delicious! I've also had their lunch buffet, which has a salad bar portion. The buffet has been delicious so far. I've also tried a burger and fries which were delicious. I've had the Navajo sheepherder's breakfast which was very delicious. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Rarely do we eat at a motel's restaurant, but this place was pleasant with good food. we had both dinner and breakfast, with the Saturday breakfast buffet being included in our free meal voucher. we had prompt and friendly service. The mutton ribs were new to me and tasty. The best part of the breakfast buffet was the surprise rice crispy treats laid out next to the jalapeño slices. read more

Worst experience ever. Waited 20 minutes to have our orders taken. Then finally got fed up and left after three other tables got served even though they were seated well after us. This was an hour after arriving. It seemed like this was common occurrence as when I told we were leaving, they didn't seemed surprised or concerned. This is inside the Navajo Nation Quality Inn and it does not get any better than this. Even though the breakfast was included with the hotel stay it was great. The service was great and the food very fresh, hot, great tastes and lots of food. We felt lucky to be in Navajo Country and the staff at the restaurant and hotel could not have been any nicer. We hope to come back and there is enough to do to keep you busy for at least two days. The Museum and the Code Talker Monument at Window Rock are inspirational and well worth seeing. read more

Went to the restaurant a few times over the years. The service needs an upgrade. Today was horrible, I never was asked if I wanted a drink or order anything to eat. The guy next to me finally waved the waiter over, all he wanted was coffee, about 10 mins later she re-enters the conference room but doesn't have his coffee. So he asked me for the cup which was on the other side of me, which the person that was seated there could have used but it wasn't being used so I gave him the cup. He waved her over and she poured coffee in his cup, again i was never asked if I would like to order anything. No water, coffee, nothing. He finished his coffee and you could tell he wanted more coffee, ignored again. I needed water badly. Haha. They seemed to be only servicing one side of the room, very uncomfortable and weird. read more
