Came across this looking for some coffee - Dunkin' Donuts is over 130 miles - I would highly recommend a gas station - best of luck

Home made fresh bread with ample meat. This turkey sandwich was delicious!

Family owned for 40 years. Friendly staff as well as owners. Doesn't look too appealing from the outside but don't let that discourage you! These mom and pops are a dying breed on Route 66. Support local! Donuts good, sandwiches are great! Fresh bread made in house. Plenty of turkey on our sandwich. What a pleasant surprise! Eat here instead of Taco Bell etc....

You guys.. YOU. GUYS. Hands down, best sandwich I've ever had in my life! My family and I are traveling in an RV through states, and we got lucky passing by this Donut & Deli restaurant. They make their breads from scratch which means no preservatives. It was absolutely amazing. You can try any of their sandwiches and they all have their unique flavor. The employees and service was just as amazing, definitely family oriented and SO caring! The ambiance is nice, not hard to find, there are tables and chairs for you to sit inside. They even have baby chairs! This business deserves more than 5 stars, wish i was able to stop by more than once here, but guess I just got to visit Texas more often haha!

The place is nice. It is run by an old man that does it all himself. I got some donuts and a burrito. I'll let you know what I think of it. Opens at 6am, homemade breads, doughnuts, and coffee Not much to say except the place seems like a good local spot for a sit down

Located on historic highway 66, it was easy to find but hard to get to from our hotel. We were laughing at how much effort it took to get here as the railways had trains blocking three different directions our GPS wanted us to try. We eventually go here at 9;30 at night. The two people working were friendly but also seemed like maybe they had a long day already. Yet they managed to be friendly and fast. We ordered a large pastrami with everything on it and one log chocolate donut. The bread was fresh and the sandwich was filling and tasty. Honestly, I was surprised because I often lower my expectations when traveling. But this was a good sandwich with plenty of stuff on it and bread I think they baked right there. They gave us two bags of chips, maybe that's normal but we took it as a consideration that we had worked so hard to get there! The donut was just ok. I did not expect much of it either since it was 9 at night and I was guessing the donut may have been made many hours earlier. But the dough part was light and fluffy, the chocolate top covered the whole thing. The problem was the cream filling, At first I was thinking it was one of those long donuts with no filling because I could not find any. The donut was a bit dry without a cream filling so I was disappointed. I actually tore the donut apart just eating the top with the chocolate. At the last inch, there was half a squirt of the cream (vanilla pudding), maybe half an inch in total. I can't imagine that's the norm, maybe the donut filling staff were conducted by aliens right as they started pumping in the filling. Or maybe the donut cream filling technician got an emergency phone call that demanded they come to the hospital and perform emergency brain surgery. Whatever it was, they stopped after barely starting the filling and that ruined the donut for me. Otherwise, I would have given them five stars.

Great spot for donuts or sandwiches made to order. Had the Reuben. 6 inch was more than enough for 1 person. Love supporting locals.

The sheep head had little meat, on its face, dry and nothing but bone, smaller heads. Ribs: were short and tiny rack, blood coming out of them so I asked if they were done and I was told they were but never have I seen bloody mutton ribs. Navajos don't do rare, med well, it's gotta be cooked completely with zero blood existing on the mutton. We drove many hrs to come here, left disappointed. This place is famous for its roasted meats, it's not like it was when we stopped there with the grandparents. I missed the crispy roasted fat, meat was almost like jerky on the outside and soft and juicy when you take a bite. Please someone fix this. We drove home was not quite the same bc we traveled many hrs to eat mutton and we couldn't due to the bloody ribs. All the candies and pastries that I had missed were all available, the big red peanut patties, hot pickles, cracker jacks, popcorn balls, Little Debbies, hostess, and we found a 50 pound bluebird flour...which was the biggest we have ever seen. Please stock the regular sized banana moon pies, the old folks were disappointed that they only have vanilla in the super tiny moon pies that was actually a bunch of us older folks complaining about it on that aisle how come they don't carry the regular size moon pies anymore especially the banana. " we don't want the super tiny ones" that's a request of the seniors that were standing there in the aisle. So we picked up a box of little Debbies banana marshmallow pies....yes it was as yummy as i remember but the banana moon pies will always be the best the big ones.

But there are all sorts of people walking around without masks. So the signs are up but there's no enforcement. "Well it's ok if you are fully vaccinated". How can you tell? "We can't and we can't ask". Brilliant, did they come up with this all by themselves? Next time I'll see if I can get a picture of the unmasked manager walking by the mask required sign. So there was a a reply from management. Thank you but it was a meaningless reply. Either there is making the health of customers, associates, and the neighborhood the highest priority or making masks not required. If they are required for non-vaccinated, how would you know and how would you enforce? One, there is no way to know if someone is truly vaccinated without asking or verifying. Neither is done. Two, even if someone were to ask and/or verify vaccination, there is nobody enforcing the guideline. Without either, Albertsons cannot claim that customer health is their highest priority. Either take down the signs and quit claiming you care for the health of customers and associates or do something besides saying you are concerned. Even the employees seemed confused. All but one deli employee was wearing a mask. Fresh produce employees were 50/50. And the manager, didn't wear a mask and claimed that since the company was owned by someone in AZ that the store was lax in enforcing the guideline even when masks were required. Give this place a pass until they decide they are making decisions based on corporate management, CDC, politics, or medical evidence. They said they strongly encourage non-vaccinated to wear masks. That's not the purpose of masks. There was no strong encouragement, not even weak encouragement. And I don't believe even a strong tongue lashing ever deterred an active coronavirus variant. Geez!
