He calls me to let me know the keys and remotes are ready to be picked up and be reprogrammed to my vehicle. I told him I won't be able to make it because I work six days a week, but I'll send my son on my behalf to bring my car to you. This is where everything went left. The keys were good to go, but he ordered the wrong remotes, so that was wasted gas and paying $10 for parking in the lot across the street. So my son gives him $40 dollars for the keys, and he has to reorder a new set of remotes. He calls me to let me know he has the remotes. So I let him know my son won't be able to make it because he has to work, and can we do it on Saturday. He agreed, and what's a good time for you to get this done ? He gave me a time, and I took the day off from work to get this done. I get there on Saturday, and the place is closed, and no one's there. So I'm texting him to let him know I've been waiting for him, and I get no response. So I called him, and he thinks I'm Uber eats, and I'm telling him I'm not Uber eats. I'm the guy who's waiting for you at your place of business, and he hangs up the phone on me. I texted this guy and asked why he hung up the phone on me because I've been sitting out here waiting for you. This guy texted me back to let me know he had to close up early because he had an emergency because his didn't have any food to eat. So you couldn't text or call to let me know that, with no apology for my inconvenience and a loss of a day's pay. So, my next visit with this guy is during my vacation week, which started Monday. So I go see this guy on Tuesday to try to get this done since I'm on vacation. Let me just give you some insight on this guy when I initially met with him on the first day, and he called me ghetto because I left his shop today. He goes on to tell me about his problems with his baby momma and his kid her. I'm here for one thing and not to hear about your baby momma drama and whoever she's sleeping with, and that was on the first day of meeting this guy. I get there Tuesday to get these remotes for my car, and here he goes on about his baby momma drama. How's she unattractive, basically ugly, can't cook, and don't keep the place clean, and it's always dirty. How, he's been dealing with her at the age of 18, and how the guy she is dating now is dumb and stupid for being with her and taking care of a kid that's not his and how he bought a bed for his kid that's not even his. He told me she works for USPS and the guy she's dating works there as well, and he doesn't have to worry about taking care of his kid because the guy she's dating dumb for taking on the role of taking of his child. This guy is telling all of this while trying to program my remotes for my car. So now he can't program the remotes because it's not working, and he needs to use a different cable port that he forgot to bring with him from home. This is just getting frustrating at this point. Another wasted $10, time,gas, and day, so here we go again with another story. I have to bring the other cable from home and we should be good. I get there Wednesday the next day, and he tells me he forgot the cable at home on the table. So he told me I thought you were going to me, I told this guy I told you I was on vacation and I told you I would be back tomorrow, which is today. So, at this point, I'm getting angry because, again, I wasted $10,gas,time, and another day. So here we go with more lies, he asks me what am I'm doing for the rest of the day. I told him nothing because I'm on vacation, so he tells me I'll stop by your address after work, and I'll do it for after work. 5 o'clock to 6 o'clock, no text nor a call phone, so I texted no response, and I call no response. At this point, I'm angry and I want my refund back. So he texted me to tell me he's one person in this big old world and he can't be at every place at once. So, at this point, I'm about to go to jail for this guy, and now today is Thursday. While he's sitting down in his chair, tell me, let get your refund. So now he's trying to beat me out of my money, telling me I owe $116. No, you owe me $156 because the bill was for $320 deposit, which was left of $160, and my son gave you $40 for those keys. The total amount I gave is $200 minus $44 for the keys that were made, so give me my $156, and he tries to give $106 and told him it's $156. This guy asks me why I'm so angry, and I told him that because you're very professional and he calls me ghetto and why I'm acting so ghetto. I was very nice,curious, and patient with this guy until the last straw. Just because I called him lair and unprofessional, he called me ghetto. What an asshole and stop telling people your personal business we don't come there for that.

Emergency hours show 6p-8a (this was at 2p) so not an emergency but they said the site wasn't updated. I understand a higher cost due to COVID, but not $105. So site said cost $175 (which is already a lot) and ended paying $215. They said they got it done quickly but I assumed that's what most aim to do. If this happens again I'll call somewhere else that has a clear set price, and doesn't overcharge for a simple task.

The lock worked for 6 weeks and then "died". I called the locksmith and he told us to insert new batteries which my tenant did and it worked for 2 days and "died" again. I called/texted the locksmith multiple times and he intermittently responded but could never make a date to come and evaluate the lock. I became very frustrated and called Columbus One and Jay responded quickly and met me several days later. He was excellent and was able to install a new lock in about 30 minutes. He was very professional and truly a nice guy. To top it off, it cost me half of what the first locksmith charged me-- granted the first one had to make a hole in the doorframe, but still-- that's maybe another 15 minutes.
